This wasn’t just a vow renewal—it was a family celebration. Their daughter was there, making the whole thing even sweeter. And let us tell you, watching this moment was a true family affair. That’s the stuff core memories are made of.

Greta was a vision—her bouquet bursting with the most tropical, vibrant colors, like a little celebration of joy in her hands. She glowed, and not just from the Hawaiian sun. Eric, looking dapper and very clearly in awe of his wife (even after two decades!), beamed from ear to ear. It was a beautiful day as you’ll see below!

20 Years and More

They laughed and were fully present in this significant milestone of their Oahu vow renewal. And then they read their vows. It was so deeply meaningful. These weren’t vows filled with fluff—they were words built on twenty years of doing the thing: parenting, loving, growing, showing up. And somehow, between the salt air and the sand between their toes, it all felt brand new again.

Having first met in 2010 as journalists in Carbondale, Illinois—Dale a newspaper reporter, and Dana a TV reporter—their romance sparked but was dimmed by distance when Dana moved to Ohio for a new job. Despite the miles, Dale kept the connection alive, ensuring Dana wouldn’t forget him. Fast forward to August 2023, fate brought them back together, and this time, it clicked like never before. And after some heartfelt visits, the decision was clear—they wanted forever.

Their enchanting Oahu beach wedding took place at Waialae Beach, with the golden sands and sparkling ocean as witnesses to their love. Dana, a vision of a tropical goddess, adorned a stunning flower crown and a custom bouquet, radiating beauty and joy. Dale embraced the aloha spirit with his vibrant aloha shirt, embodying the laid-back vibe of his beloved Oahu.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate this new chapter, filling the day with warmth and happiness! The sunshine mirrored the radiance of the couple, casting a glow on their intimate moments and shared smiles. It was a day that perfectly blended Dale’s 50th birthday, their wedding, and honeymoon—a true trifecta of joy!

Moreover, with Dana’s love for yoga and farmers markets, and Dale’s passion for live music and the Pittsburgh Steelers, their shared adventures will surely be vibrant and full of laughter!

What a beautiful celebration it was for Alexis (Lexy) and Davin at their intimate Oahu venue wedding! Held at the stunning Lanikuhonua Cultural Institute, this day was nothing short of perfect for the couple and their loved ones. Lexy, a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in oncology with acute leukemia patients, and Davin, a passionate registered dietitian working for the non-profit organization Fit to Recover, tied the knot in a ceremony that beautifully reflected their love and commitment.

The couple, who met through mutual friends right before COVID, have shared many adventures together, from hiking and camping to river rafting and snowshoeing. Davin’s proposal during a camping trip at Smith and Morehouse Reservoir in Utah was a testament to their love for the outdoors. Although they live in a different state, they knew they wanted a small wedding and enlisted us to coordinate the event, ensuring everything was just right! And it couldn’t have been more lovely!

Davin, born and raised in Honolulu, was overjoyed to share his beloved Hawaii with Lexy on their special day. The setting at Lanikuhonua was breathtaking, with its lush tropical surroundings and serene beach backdrop. It was a glorious, bright blue day as friends and family gathered to witness Lexy and Davin exchange their heartfelt vows. Keep reading to see more of their beautiful day!
