The wedding venue was breathtaking, and everything provided was wonderful from A to Z. The flowers and leis were beautiful. Our coordinator was extremely helpful and kind. Our officiant had a beautiful voice and performed a wonderful Hawaiian non-religious ceremony. Not all the photos have come back yet, but the folks and Karma Hill Photography have been fantastic, as have our initial pictures!

An Oahu venue wedding at Kailana Chapel felt perfectly aligned for Melissa and Spencer, a day that reflected their love for intimacy, calm moments, and meaning over attention. From the very start, the chapel’s soft white arches and glowing natural light created a serene backdrop that matched their energy so well.
They stood side by side with an ease that only comes from years together, the kind that began back in 2013 in a sports medicine class and quietly grew into something steady and lasting. That same quiet intention showed up in their proposal too, when Spencer asked Melissa to marry him at Descanso Botanical Gardens in April, 2024. It was just the two of them, no audience, no distractions, which made it feel even more intimate and true to who they are. Every glance felt familiar. Every smile felt earned.
As the ceremony unfolded, everything stayed beautifully simple and intentional. The way Spencer looked at Melissa said everything without needing words, while she met him with that same quiet certainty.
Afterward, the celebration shifted to the shoreline, where palm trees swayed and the ocean stretched endlessly behind them. There, the mood softened even more. They laughed, held each other close, and moved through each moment naturally, like two people who have built a life around shared routines, late night games, good food, and walks with their dogs, Benjamin and Maple. Cebelle and Jonathon’s Oahu Wedding felt like the kind of full circle love story you cannot help but root for. From meeting in high school to building a life together in San Diego, their connection has been steady, joyful, and deeply rooted. They first met in PE class and, soon after, Jonathon asked Cebelle to be his girlfriend back in 2011. Then, years later, during cherry blossom season in Japan, he proposed near Mt. Fuji with the help of her maid of honor. It was thoughtful, romantic, and completely unforgettable.
When they chose Oahu for their wedding, it felt natural in every way. For Cebelle, the island reminded her of home in Cebu, with its warm air, lush greens, and easy access to the ocean. Meanwhile, Jonathon loved the relaxed energy and the way every view feels like something out of a postcard. Their ceremony at a stunning chapel overlooking the water was filled with soft light, meaningful glances, and quiet emotion. As they stood beneath the arched windows, the ocean stretching endlessly behind them, it felt both intimate and grand all at once.
Afterward, the celebration carried that same sense of ease and joy. They stepped outside into the sunshine, surrounded by greenery, mountain views, and the soft ocean breeze. Then, as they explored the grounds together, they laughed, held each other close, and soaked in every moment.
