The wedding venue was breathtaking, and everything provided was wonderful from A to Z. The flowers and leis were beautiful. Our coordinator was extremely helpful and kind. Our officiant had a beautiful voice and performed a wonderful Hawaiian non-religious ceremony. Not all the photos have come back yet, but the folks and Karma Hill Photography have been fantastic, as have our initial pictures!

An Oahu venue wedding feels a little like stepping into a dream, and Kendall and Sean’s celebration at Kailana Chapel was proof of that from the very first moment. Surrounded by soaring white arches, glowing natural light, and the people they love most, these two exchanged vows in a setting that felt both elegant and deeply personal.
Their story sounds like it was written by fate itself. After meeting through Sean’s cousin years earlier and staying connected through social media, life eventually brought them together when Sean moved to Kendall’s neighborhood. One first date later, the rest was history.
Inside the chapel, every glance and smile felt meaningful. Kendall looked radiant in her classic gown, while Sean’s joy was impossible to miss as they stood together at the altar. The ceremony was filled with warmth, happy tears, and the kind of laughter that only comes from being surrounded by family and friends who have been cheering you on from the beginning. Looking through their images, you can almost feel the excitement and anticipation that filled the room.
Afterward, the newlyweds headed to Oahu’s rugged coastline for portraits, and the scenery could not have been more breathtaking. An Oahu venue wedding at Kailana Chapel felt perfectly aligned for Melissa and Spencer, a day that reflected their love for intimacy, calm moments, and meaning over attention. From the very start, the chapel’s soft white arches and glowing natural light created a serene backdrop that matched their energy so well.
They stood side by side with an ease that only comes from years together, the kind that began back in 2013 in a sports medicine class and quietly grew into something steady and lasting. That same quiet intention showed up in their proposal too, when Spencer asked Melissa to marry him at Descanso Botanical Gardens in April, 2024. It was just the two of them, no audience, no distractions, which made it feel even more intimate and true to who they are. Every glance felt familiar. Every smile felt earned.
As the ceremony unfolded, everything stayed beautifully simple and intentional. The way Spencer looked at Melissa said everything without needing words, while she met him with that same quiet certainty.
