Chapel Views – Cebelle & Jonathon’s Oahu Wedding

Cebelle and Jonathon’s Oahu Wedding felt like the kind of full circle love story you cannot help but root for. From meeting in high school to building a life together in San Diego, their connection has been steady, joyful, and deeply rooted. They first met in PE class and, soon after, Jonathon asked Cebelle to be his girlfriend back in 2011. Then, years later, during cherry blossom season in Japan, he proposed near Mt. Fuji with the help of her maid of honor. It was thoughtful, romantic, and completely unforgettable.

When they chose Oahu for their wedding, it felt natural in every way. For Cebelle, the island reminded her of home in Cebu, with its warm air, lush greens, and easy access to the ocean. Meanwhile, Jonathon loved the relaxed energy and the way every view feels like something out of a postcard. Their ceremony at a stunning chapel overlooking the water was filled with soft light, meaningful glances, and quiet emotion. As they stood beneath the arched windows, the ocean stretching endlessly behind them, it felt both intimate and grand all at once.

Afterward, the celebration carried that same sense of ease and joy. They stepped outside into the sunshine, surrounded by greenery, mountain views, and the soft ocean breeze. Then, as they explored the grounds together, they laughed, held each other close, and soaked in every moment.

Finally, with the waves in the distance and the light glowing all around them, their day felt like the perfect blend of where they came from and where they are going next.
