Traveling from Texas, they celebrated their very first trip to Hawaiʻi in the most meaningful way. Desiree had always dreamed of a beach wedding. Thankfully, Waialae Beach delivered everything she imagined and more.

As sunset painted the sky, swaying palm trees framed the shoreline. Meanwhile, the couple shared sweet smiles, quiet embraces, and a romantic walk beside the ocean.

The golden evening light created a dreamy backdrop for every moment. From the sparkle of their rings to their laughter along the beach, each detail felt effortless and genuine. As a result, their gallery beautifully reflects a love that is both joyful and deeply rooted.

The couple filled their ceremony with heartfelt family moments. Ring Bearer Crew and Flower Girl Cam charmed guests as they walked down the aisle together. Their smiles and confidence brought laughter and joy to the celebration. Michaella and Damir exchanged vows beside the ocean, surrounded by family, friends, and breathtaking coastal views. Because Amelia had previously attended school on the island, choosing Kualoa Regional Park felt especially meaningful. The stunning Koʻolau Mountains stood watch behind them while the calm ocean stretched endlessly ahead. Meanwhile, a cool breeze drifted through the park, creating the kind of atmosphere that feels almost too perfect to be real.

This Oahu wedding was the kind of love story that makes you wonder if the universe has impeccable matchmaking skills after all.

Christa and Tye met on Hinge in August 2023 while both balancing the demands of student life, and somehow built something beautiful in the middle of it all. Since then, they welcomed their baby boy and celebrated countless milestones together. Tye later proposed at the top of the Makapuʻu Lighthouse Trail, overlooking the ocean that has always felt like home to Christa.

Returning to Hawaiʻi to say “I do” at Lanikuhonua Cultural Institute made the day especially meaningful. Surrounded by family, familiar landscapes, and the place where so many of Christa’s memories began was so beautiful to witness.

As the sun dipped lower on Oahu’s west side, the ceremony was wrapped in the kind of golden light photographers dream about. The warm glow stretched across the coastline, illuminating every smile, happy tear, and stolen glance between the newlyweds.

After the ceremony, Christa and Tye slipped away to the beach for intimate couples portraits along the shoreline. The waves rolled in behind them and the last golden rays of sunlight reflected across the water. They had a quiet moment to soak in the reality of being newly married.
