Choosing Oahu for their intimate ceremony was more than just a destination—it was deeply meaningful. Tina, an Associate Professor of Digital Media, found renewal on the island during a 2023 visit with friends. The island’s serene energy and natural beauty felt like home, reminding her of her childhood on a tiny Persian Gulf island. For Davood, a Mechanical Engineer at Apple, Oahu marked a new chapter of joy after enduring the loss of his parents.
With only a handful of close family members, the ceremony was both simple and romantic. From heartfelt vows to stunning backdrops of green mountains and turquoise waters, every moment was exquisite.
Tina and Davood’s love story—rooted in their shared heritage from Tehran and their adventurous spirits—shone brightly in this intimate celebration. Oahu’s energy truly made their day unforgettable.
