Some people choose a wedding venue for the view. Some for the convenience. But Brandon and Katie? They chose an Oahu beach wedding on Papa’iloa Beach because it’s stitched into the very fabric of their love story, with a little family legacy, a dash of sentimentality, and one incredibly thoughtful (and kind of genius) 3D-printed Ring Pop.

Let’s rewind. Brandon and Katie first crossed paths in high school thanks to mutual friends. Life took them in different directions, college, careers, the whole “growing up” thing—but fate (and perhaps a very smart algorithm) brought them back together after graduation. Since they officially started dating in 2017, one thing’s been consistent: their yearly trips to Papa’iloa Beach. It’s been their favorite place for ocean breezes, lazy afternoons, and quiet walks, just the two of them.

But this beach wasn’t just a vacation spot. It was home in the emotional sense, especially for Brandon. His great-grandmother grew up on Oahu and raised his grandmother there. Though his family eventually moved to Minnesota, they remained deeply connected to their roots in the islands. Visiting Hawaii has always been meaningful, but when he brought Katie along for the first time, it felt different. Bigger. And, as it turned out, permanent.

Surrounded By Love

In 2021, he proposed on Papailoa Beach with a Ring Pop he designed himself on a 3D printer (yes, really, this programmer knows how to combine heart and high tech). Hidden inside was Katie’s actual engagement ring. Let’s just say she said yes. Obviously.

So, when it came time to plan their wedding, it was never a question where they’d do it. Papa’iloa Beach wasn’t just a backdrop, it was the beating heart of their story.

Their Oahu beach wedding day was nothing short of stunning. Elegant without being stuffy. Intimate, personal, and full of love. The ocean sparkled, the sky showed off with soft pastel light, and the breeze carried just enough warmth to make everything feel like magic. Katie looked radiant, and the way Brandon looked at her, you could feel it. Years of love and laughter packed into one very quiet, very big moment.

Our favorite part? The simplicity. There was no need for extravagant décor when the setting was already so meaningful. Every step they took on that sand had history behind it, memories, promises, and now, vows.

They had the closest friends and family by their side, all anyone could ever wish for!

Have you ever dreamed of a beach wedding that combines the beauty of the ocean with the joy of family? Caitlin and Robinson’s Oahu beach wedding was exactly that – a beautiful, happy, and incredibly special celebration.

Together for the past 17 years, Caitlin and Robinson share two sweet girls, ages nine and six. While Robinson works as a digital designer and Caitlin handles medical records from home, they consider themselves homebodies who love spending time together as a family. With two fur babies at home completing their household, they cherish their time at the beach, frequently visiting the Oregon coast during the summer. Family means everything to them!

Their decision to have a small beach wedding in Oahu was a perfect blend of their love for the beach and the desire to create a memorable vacation for their guests. Interestingly, they booked their wedding before getting engaged, wanting to ensure their loved ones had plenty of time to plan and save for the trip. This unconventional yet very considerate approach added a unique charm to their story! And as you’ll see it was a wonderful day!

Simple & Sweet

Their Oahu beach wedding day was intimate, relaxed, and filled with love. Caitlin and Robinson exchanged their promises in a heartwarming ceremony that included their two daughters, making it even more special. The girls were the light of their lives, and seeing them involved in the ceremony was incredibly sweet. The happiness on their faces was priceless, and their adorable presence made the day even more memorable!

After saying “I do,” the newlyweds took some beautiful portraits, capturing the joy and excitement of the moment. The serene backdrop of Wai’alae Beach Park, combined with the soft pastel colors, created a magical atmosphere for their photos.

Having never been to Hawaii before, this trip was extra special for Caitlin and Robinson. Their wedding was not just a celebration of their love but also a wonderful family adventure!

Little did they know that an unexpected guest, a sleeping monk seal, would grace their celebration, bringing blessings from the island itself! It was truly an unforgettable moment!

When our lovely couple Hailey and Ian got engaged at the DuPont National Forest, where they had their first date (so sweet), they envisioned their special day somewhere tropical where they could start their newlywed lives in paradise! Ian wanted a tropical honeymoon, and Hailey wanted an exciting new place to explore together and start their married life. Thankfully, they stumbled across our company, and their dream of an Oahu destination wedding and tropical honeymoon came to life! And what a gorgeous day it was for their ” I, dos!”

Hailey made a gorgeous entrance on the sandy aisle at Kualoa Ranch Secret Island with a vibrant tropical bouquet, highlighting the natural beauty of the island! The sun was bright, and their guests and family were so happy to have made the journey for their Oahu destination wedding! The love and joy were palpable throughout their entire day in paradise… The tropical ambiance created a magical and surreal feel. Palm trees and turquoise waters add that little extra something something to a simple and elegant beach wedding. It was an honor to bring all the elements together for our happy couples’ dream celebration!

Our New Adventure

Have you ever dreamed of getting married in a place that takes your breath away? For Arielle and Kevin, Hawaii was the ultimate dream for their vows. Our team was delighted to coordinate their Oahu venue wedding in a beautiful paradise that they have visited many times before. They could not think of a better place to say their vows and celebrate with loved ones! We have to agree! Let’s re-live their amazing day again!

Sweet Moments

Our beautiful couple shares a deep connection, as they are both introverts who understand each other perfectly. Their engagement story is just as romantic as their Oahu venue wedding day! Kevin proposed to Arielle at their home in an intimate and personal setting. (Just what she envisioned!) As they enjoyed a delicious meal, Arielle noticed a white mug on her side of the table. When she finished her drink, she saw the words “Will you marry me?” at the bottom of the mug. And when she turned around, Kevin was already on one knee with the ring…how romantic (and clever) is that!?

Their big day at the Royal Hawaiian Golf Course was nothing short of spectacular! The beautiful arch was the perfect backdrop for their ceremony, and the lush lawn and dramatic tropical scenery added to the event’s charm. Even their 16-month-old daughter Ava was part of the festivities, serving as their flower girl!

Our photographer captured every moment of their special day, from the stunning tropical scenery to the joyous expressions of our happy newlyweds! These two look so happy together, soaking up all the love and glowing from head to toe! We are so happy for these two!

We love the all-white look Arielle opted for her bridal attire…she looks like a glowing goddess! Kevin’s sharp navy suit is always a classic option. So stylish and elegant…
