We are excited to share the story of Alexis and Kelvin’s Oahu elopement! There are love stories that unfold in bustling cities, or quiet bookstores, or beneath a starry sky—and then there’s Alexis and Kelvin. Whose story began… at a high school lunch table in Wisconsin. (Because, obviously, all great modern-day romances start with “Can I sit here?”)

They were 15. They started dating before driver’s licenses, before taxes, before the big responsibilities of life came. And over the past decade, through the awkward growing-up years and the “how are we adulting?” milestones, their relationship has only grown stronger.

In May 2022, they took a dreamy dog-filled trip to Colorado, where Kelvin proposed at Rocky Mountain National Park. There were mountains, emotion, and, we assume, at least one excited tail wag. And now their big day has finally arrived…

Alexis, a pet groomer currently studying marketing and social media management, tapped Kelvin on the shoulder for their first look. When he turned around and saw her? Let’s just say the sun wasn’t the only thing glowing.

Kelvin, a software developer, looked completely enchanted. The kind of face that says: “Wow, I’m about to marry the love of my life in paradise, and also, how did I get so lucky?”

A Dream Come True

So when it came time to plan their Oahu elopement, they knew they wanted something that felt like them: simple, heartfelt, and naturally beautiful. Enter: their ceremony at Kualoa Beach Park. With its dramatic mountains on one side and turquoise ocean on the other, it offered exactly the backdrop they’d dreamed of, lush, beachy, and utterly cinematic.

The ceremony was intimate and filled with laughter. No pomp, no stress, just two people promising forever under the Hawaiian sun, barefoot and beaming. And because this is Alexis and Kelvin we’re talking about, they eventually, at the end, kicked off their shoes and waded into the waves like the beachy romantics they are.

Some love stories feel like they were meant to unfold beside the ocean—and Lupe and Brian’s Oahu beach wedding at Paradise Cove Beach was a beautiful, sun-kissed celebration of ten wonderful years of exactly that kind of love.

These two have been adventuring together for a decade, starting from a little beach town in Southern California—Hermosa Beach, to be exact—where their story first began. After a few years of being “just friends” in a shared circle, they took a trip to New York City and fell in love in the most cinematic way possible. Since then? It’s been a globe-spanning romance filled with travel, laughter, and the sweetest little third wheel: their daughter, Annika.

From the Great Barrier Reef to Paradise Cove

When Brian proposed in Australia—yes, in Cairns, at the Great Barrier Reef—they knew that a beach wedding was inevitable. It was a full-circle kind of choice. After all, they met at the beach, fell in love in the city, and got engaged by the sea. A wedding on the shores of Oahu, surrounded by the people they love most, felt like the perfect next chapter.

And oh, was it ever.

Their Oahu beach wedding at Paradise Cove was nothing short of breathtaking. The sky was impossibly blue, the waves gentle and glittering, and the entire day glowed with that dreamy Hawaiian light. Lupe looked radiant—graceful, elegant, and full of joy. Brian, proud and smiling wide, looked at her like she was the only person on the planet. (Spoiler: to him, she probably is.)

Annika was the sweetest part of all—beaming with excitement and adding an extra layer of magic to an already incredible day.

A Life Full of Traditions and Big Love

Brian and Lupe’s lives are the perfect mix of tradition and adventure. He’s an electrical engineer working on warfare radars (yes, actual radar systems that detect drones—so cool), and Lupe is a Director of Finance for a nonprofit that serves blind and disabled individuals (also amazing). They spend their winters skiing and snowboarding, and every summer, they return to Brian’s hometown of Beaverton, Oregon, where Annika proudly rides in her dad’s 30-year-old Derby car in the 4th of July parade. It’s a family full of heart, history, and love for the little moments.

Paradise, Promises, and Forever

Their wedding day was lovely in the most effortless way. It was warm, heartfelt, and full of laughter—just like them. When Amanda and Erik said “I do” during their Oahu beach wedding, they did it in the most beautiful, simple, and relaxed way imaginable. The wedding had the perfect vibe—casual yet chic, stress-free but so full of meaning. The soft glow of the sun as it dipped lower into the sky created a dreamy atmosphere, filling every photo with that perfect “golden hour” glow. To commemorate the day, they incorporated some fun and meaningful Aloha-inspired elements, like a Hawaii license plate with their wedding date—a sweet nod to the island where they tied the knot. And how cute is this? Amanda wore a “Just Married” jean jacket that added the perfect casual, yet playful touch. It was totally them—fun, stylish, and full of personality.

The whole day felt incredibly special—nothing too flashy, just an intimate celebration of love in the most beautiful and peaceful setting. They truly brought their personalities to the day, making it a celebration that was as unique as their love story!

The island’s serene energy and natural beauty felt like home, reminding her of her childhood on a tiny Persian Gulf island. For Davood, a Mechanical Engineer at Apple, Oahu marked a new chapter of joy after enduring the loss of his parents.

With only a handful of close family members, the ceremony was both simple and romantic. From heartfelt vows to stunning backdrops of green mountains and turquoise waters, every moment was exquisite.

Tina and Davood’s love story—rooted in their shared heritage from Tehran and their adventurous spirits—shone brightly in this intimate celebration. Oahu’s energy truly made their day unforgettable.

What a beautiful celebration it was for Alexis (Lexy) and Davin at their intimate Oahu venue wedding! Held at the stunning Lanikuhonua Cultural Institute, this day was nothing short of perfect for the couple and their loved ones. Lexy, a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in oncology with acute leukemia patients, and Davin, a passionate registered dietitian working for the non-profit organization Fit to Recover, tied the knot in a ceremony that beautifully reflected their love and commitment.

The couple, who met through mutual friends right before COVID, have shared many adventures together, from hiking and camping to river rafting and snowshoeing. Davin’s proposal during a camping trip at Smith and Morehouse Reservoir in Utah was a testament to their love for the outdoors. Although they live in a different state, they knew they wanted a small wedding and enlisted us to coordinate the event, ensuring everything was just right! And it couldn’t have been more lovely!

Davin, born and raised in Honolulu, was overjoyed to share his beloved Hawaii with Lexy on their special day. The setting at Lanikuhonua was breathtaking, with its lush tropical surroundings and serene beach backdrop. It was a glorious, bright blue day as friends and family gathered to witness Lexy and Davin exchange their heartfelt vows. Keep reading to see more of their beautiful day!

Tristen and Manuel’s love story is as enchanting as a fairy tale, with a touch of Star Wars magic sprinkled in. From their humble beginnings in high school band to their romantic proposal under a starlit gazebo, their journey to the altar at their Oahu venue wedding has been nothing short of spectacular!

With Tristen working remotely for the Long Beach VA Hospital and Manuel balancing full-time schooling and part-time work, they may not have human children, but their bond is as strong as ever, especially with their adorable beagle, BD-1, by their side. Their shared love for games, movies, and, of course, Star Wars, has only brought them closer together over the years! So we were delighted to see these two peas in a pod tie the knot!

Their dream of a Hawaiian wedding became a reality at Paradise Cove Luau. They exchanged vows surrounded by the sun-kissed shores and the love of their closest friends and family. The day was nothing short of stunning as you can see! The sun shining brightly overhead and the vibrant colors of Hawaii painted the perfect backdrop for their love-filled celebration.

From the moment we connected with them, it was evident that Tristen and Manny were meant to be together, two souls united in love. It was an honor to be part of their special day, creating memories that will last a lifetime for this extraordinary couple! As big Star Wars fans, May 4th is actually Star Wars day! As they exchanged heartfelt vows, there was an atmosphere of pure joy and love. Doesn’t it look like they have a glowing halo around them?! The softness of their photos speak volumes about their relationship and the serene setting. These two actually live on the Big Island! They wanted to get away to another island to say “I, do” with just the two of them and no added pressure. Moreover, their Oahu beach wedding couldn’t have been more enchanting down to the very details!
