Some people choose a wedding venue for the view. Some for the convenience. But Brandon and Katie? They chose an Oahu beach wedding on Papa’iloa Beach because it’s stitched into the very fabric of their love story, with a little family legacy, a dash of sentimentality, and one incredibly thoughtful (and kind of genius) 3D-printed Ring Pop.

Let’s rewind. Brandon and Katie first crossed paths in high school thanks to mutual friends. Life took them in different directions, college, careers, the whole “growing up” thing—but fate (and perhaps a very smart algorithm) brought them back together after graduation. Since they officially started dating in 2017, one thing’s been consistent: their yearly trips to Papa’iloa Beach. It’s been their favorite place for ocean breezes, lazy afternoons, and quiet walks, just the two of them.

But this beach wasn’t just a vacation spot. It was home in the emotional sense, especially for Brandon. His great-grandmother grew up on Oahu and raised his grandmother there. Though his family eventually moved to Minnesota, they remained deeply connected to their roots in the islands. Visiting Hawaii has always been meaningful, but when he brought Katie along for the first time, it felt different. Bigger. And, as it turned out, permanent.

Surrounded By Love

In 2021, he proposed on Papailoa Beach with a Ring Pop he designed himself on a 3D printer (yes, really, this programmer knows how to combine heart and high tech). Hidden inside was Katie’s actual engagement ring. Let’s just say she said yes. Obviously.

So, when it came time to plan their wedding, it was never a question where they’d do it. Papa’iloa Beach wasn’t just a backdrop, it was the beating heart of their story.

Their Oahu beach wedding day was nothing short of stunning. Elegant without being stuffy. Intimate, personal, and full of love. The ocean sparkled, the sky showed off with soft pastel light, and the breeze carried just enough warmth to make everything feel like magic. Katie looked radiant, and the way Brandon looked at her, you could feel it. Years of love and laughter packed into one very quiet, very big moment.

Our favorite part? The simplicity. There was no need for extravagant décor when the setting was already so meaningful. Every step they took on that sand had history behind it, memories, promises, and now, vows.

They had the closest friends and family by their side, all anyone could ever wish for!

Their wedding at The Charming Estate was nothing short of breathtaking. A lush lawn stretched wide, mountains standing tall in the distance, the kind of setting that doesn’t need anything extra because it’s already perfect. The day felt warm, intimate, deeply personal. Family-filled and love-soaked. And the best part? Their sweet little girl was there, making the moment even more magical!

After the vows, they took it all in—soaking in the love, the joy, the surreal feeling of this is happening. They wandered through the tropical surroundings, stealing newlywed moments and capturing them in stunning photos with their daughter. It was simple and elegant, classic and heartfelt! Their Oahu venue wedding had all the feels!

And oh, they looked amazing. Alyssa-Mae in a clean, minimal gown that was nothing short of timeless. David, sharp and dapper, grinning ear to ear! And with that view it was perfection!

Zachary and Haley’s Oahu elopement was the epitome of a breezy, relaxed, carefree and romantic celebration! The couple, who met on this very island while attending Hawaii Pacific University, returned to the place where their love story began, making their wedding day even more special and beautiful.

Zach, the owner of a baseball training academy in LA, and Haley, a second-grade teacher and yoga instructor, are a perfect match. Both were college athletes—Zach played baseball, and Haley was a gymnast. Their shared love for adventure, hiking, skiing, and the beach brought them together and keeps their bond strong.

Their wedding was an intimate affair, just the two of them, at the picturesque Papailoa Beach. It was an incredible day filled with love, laughter, and joy. The ceremony was carefree and relaxed, with the sound of the waves providing the perfect soundtrack for their “I dos.” The soft colors of the beach and sky added an ethereal touch, making everything feel even more romantic and special as you’ll see below!

Tristen and Manuel’s love story is as enchanting as a fairy tale, with a touch of Star Wars magic sprinkled in. From their humble beginnings in high school band to their romantic proposal under a starlit gazebo, their journey to the altar at their Oahu venue wedding has been nothing short of spectacular!

With Tristen working remotely for the Long Beach VA Hospital and Manuel balancing full-time schooling and part-time work, they may not have human children, but their bond is as strong as ever, especially with their adorable beagle, BD-1, by their side. Their shared love for games, movies, and, of course, Star Wars, has only brought them closer together over the years! So we were delighted to see these two peas in a pod tie the knot!

Committing To Forever

Their dream of a Hawaiian wedding became a reality at Paradise Cove Luau. They exchanged vows surrounded by the sun-kissed shores and the love of their closest friends and family. The day was nothing short of stunning as you can see! The sun shining brightly overhead and the vibrant colors of Hawaii painted the perfect backdrop for their love-filled celebration.

From the moment we connected with them, it was evident that Tristen and Manny were meant to be together, two souls united in love. It was an honor to be part of their special day, creating memories that will last a lifetime for this extraordinary couple! As big Star Wars fans, May 4th is actually Star Wars day! So if their Oahu venue wedding was going to be on any day of the year, this was it!
