Paradise Cove Crystal Chapel

Ready for a sweet Oahu venue wedding story? Every great love story has a little sparkle, and for Jinyi and Raymond, it began quite literally under the glow of the Hope Diamond. They met at the Natural History Museum in Washington, D.C., where fate (and maybe a shared love for history and art) drew their eyes to the same gem. A few years later, Raymond recreated that magical moment, proposing with a model of the museum and hiding the ring right where the Hope Diamond would have been. The rest, as they say, is history!

Their Oahu wedding at Crystal Chapel was every bit as radiant as their beginning. The chapel, with its tall arched windows and soft natural light streaming through, seemed to glow around them. As they stood together, exchanging vows in the light, the entire space felt filled with love, gentle, reverent, and utterly beautiful. It was an intimate ceremony, shared between two souls who’ve crossed oceans and time zones to find home in each other…

Light & Elegance

As Jinyi and Raymond exchanged vows, there was a stillness, the kind of quiet that comes when love and light fill the room.

What made the moment even more special was the warmth of their loved ones gathered together. Friends and family had traveled across oceans to celebrate with them, too! Their smiles and tears of joy blend into the rhythm of the day. You could feel the pride, the affection, the sheer gratitude in every hug and every shared glance.

Afterward, Jinyi and Raymond stepped onto the beach for their newlywed portraits. The sun was soft, and the rain finally cleared! Jinyi’s dress fluttered in the wind while Raymond held her close. The sea shimmered, the light danced, and their joy was absolutely contagious!

We are thrilled to share the joyous story of Mary and Steven’s stunning wedding at Crystal Chapel in Oahu. This wonderful couple, born and raised in Sacramento, CA, work at the UCD Medical Center—Mary as a nurse analyst and Steven as a clinical lab scientist. Despite working at the same hospital, their paths didn’t cross until they met on the dating app Coffee Meets Bagel. Isn’t fate amazing?

Mary and Steven are proud cat parents to two adorable kitties, Mocha and Nugget. In their free time, they enjoy playing games, working out, watching shows, attending music festivals, and, of course, spending time with their beloved cats. Steven’s proposal to Mary at a beach in San Francisco was a chilly but unforgettable moment, filled with love and a hint of playful sarcasm. But as you’ll see, their Oahu venue wedding was filled with love and light!

Sweet Moments

Their wedding day at Ko’olina Crystal Chapel was nothing short of magical. The gorgeous setting, filled with light and love, made for an unforgettable ceremony. When Steven saw Mary walking down the aisle, his reaction was priceless—his breath was taken away, and tears welled up in his eyes. How sweet is that! The room was filled with an overwhelming sense of joy and happiness, shared by all their guests.

The couple exchanged their vows with sunlight streaming in, creating a warm and romantic atmosphere. After the ceremony, they posed for their newlywed portraits on the lawn, in front of the chapel, and by the water’s edge. The scintillating light made everything look incredibly beautiful! They couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day!

Mary’s gown was a dream come true—so romantic and elegant, perfectly complementing the ethereal setting of their wedding at the chapel. And Steven looked equally handsome in his beige suit that matched the natural surroundings! The day was a testament to fate bringing them together, even though they worked at the same hospital. How wild and romantic is that?!

We recently had the pleasure of coordinating Jessica and Steven’s Oahu venue wedding at the Crystal Chapel at Paradise Cove in Ko’olina! Our happy couple was so excited to tie the knot with their friends and family in attendance on their beautiful day. All heads turned when our beautiful bride Jessica first stepped into the chapel with her delicate veil trailing behind her down the glossy aisle – simply stunning! Steven was nearly in tears when he saw her! As you’ll see in their beautiful photographs below, it is a family-orientated and romantic celebration these two will never forget!

Love & Light – Oahu Venue Wedding

The crystal-shaped window is simply breathtaking for their vows – it took our breath away! The chapel is filled with light and love for the happy couple! Their friends and family looked on with pride and love as they exchanged their heartfelt vows. Family is so important to Jessica and Steven, and thankfully there was plenty of space to accommodate everyone!

After their ethereal Oahu venue wedding ceremony, we walked down to the shoreline to capture some newlywed portraits! We love how Jessica donned a stunning tropical haku flower crown! A flower crown can really make a bride feel special and celebratory! Jessica wears it beautifully…
