Then on the other, the sandy seaside and sapphire waves create a tropical background. We set up for Carla and Jamie’s ceremony on a grass part of Kualoa. It was the perfect backdrop because you could see the lofty palm trees and sweeping ocean views! Then the silky clouds and soft sun enhanced the enchanting ambiance. Before the ceremony, Erin and Kyle said they wanted the mountains to be the background for their ceremony! We couldn’t agree more with them. Our Couple’s Story

Erin and Kyle were visiting the island from Lexington, Kentucky! Their story began when they met while working on a horse farm. On their first date, they saw a horse named Gun Runner win a big race. Then when Kyle was ready to propose, he popped the question in the front row of the now-retired Gun Runner! Currently, our beautiful duo both work at different horse farms. Erin is an accountant at one, while Kyle is a Stallion Manager at another. Our passionate pair enjoys thoroughbred racing and adore swooning over their two dogs!

Bohemian, relaxing, and fun are a few words we’d use to describe this venue wedding! Kualoa Secret Island created a dreamy but intimate setting for this event. Then David Asing enhanced the tranquil ambiance by playing soothing melodies on his ukulele. When it was time to begin the ceremony, Kahu Kelehua Kawai delivered an impeccable sermon. Above all, one moment we loved was seeing Jenna and Scott’s son included in the vow exchange! It was such a heartwarming twist to this tradition.

About Our Couple

Jenna and Scott’s story began when they met in college. They were both enrolled in the Zoo and Aquarium Program at their university. Then Scott graduated in the Aquarium Science course, while Jenna completed the Zoo Science program. Currently, Jenna is a zookeeper at the Duke Lemur Center. Scott installs aquariums and takes care of fish! Lastly, our charming couple has a fourteen-year-old son who just started high school!

This romantic getaway was Kayla and John’s first time exploring Hawaii together! Although Kayla has been to the island before, John hadn’t. After learning this, we knew their Oahu elopement and vacation would be full of remarkable moments! Not to mention, the day they tied the knot was flawless. As Kayla glided down the lush lawn, Kahu Lawrence Kidder effortlessly played the ukulele. While Kayla walked down the shore, we made sure to look over at John. Our handsome groom had a vibrant smile on his face — we know he’ll savor this moment forever!

The Serene Oahu Elopement

When Kayla was a child, her father was stationed in Hawaii! Our bride lived on the island for three years and attended Solomon Elementary from Kindergarten to Second Grade. Since Kayla enjoyed calling this destination home, she knew it would be the perfect place to get married! Now, she and John will explore and experience Oahu together. In addition, these exquisite portraits by Karma Hill Photography are a collection of memories! We know they’ll remind our passionate pair of their special day and remarkable adventures.

Our Couple’s Story

Kayla and John’s story began when they met in high school. However, they lost touch then but reconnected three years ago on social media! When the time was right, John proposed to Kayla on May 23, 2021. He popped the question at the exact location they had their first date! Then they tied the knot one year later, on May 23, 2022. The number twenty-three is Kayla’s favorite, so the day our radiant newlyweds got engaged and married is meaningful to them!

Currently, John is a Senior Software Engineer. Our charming pair works from home on their twenty-two-acre farm! They also are parents to two pit bull puppies, who they love dearly and wish they could’ve brought to their Oahu elopement!

George and Amanda originally planned to tie the knot on George’s grandmother’s farm in Wisconsin. Unfortunately, they couldn’t have the dream ceremony they wanted. Nonetheless, they changed directions and decided to have a beach wedding in Oahu! Hawaii was the perfect location — it’s tropical and full of breathtaking scenery. George and Amanda’s favorite part of their special day was experiencing a traditional Hawaiian ceremony! Kahu Kawena Mechler was the officiant for this event, and she delivered a spiritual sermon. Our gorgeous couple adored how cultural and intimate their sunset occasion was — it was everything they hoped to have!

Our Couple’s Story

This beautiful couple first met at a going-away party in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Since George and Amanda had mutual friends, they instantly had a connection! Then three years later, they both lived in Los Angeles and met up for dinner one night. This evening was when they spilled their feeling for one another! After three months of their growing puppy love, George’s job transferred him back to Seattle. Finally, after a few trips to Washington, Amanda moved to the Pacific Northwest. From there, they’ve been inseparable since!

This trip is George and Amanda’s first time in Hawaii! In addition to having an Oahu beach wedding, they also did the Diamond Head hike. Not to mention, they took advantage of the delicious food and drinks available on the island!
