Being part of Lin and Man’s Oahu Venue Wedding was truly inspiring and memorable. We still can’t get over their sweet relationship! From the moment our bride made her entrance, it was easy to see just by the look on our groom’s face that she makes him the happiest man in the world! And it’s safe to say Lin feels the same way about Man 🙂 .
Our Bride’s Styling
Plus it’s no wonder why Man couldn’t take his eyes off of Lin throughout their Oahu Venue Wedding! I mean just look at her. In a stunning full wedding gown with a half veil and a custom bouquet to complete her look, she was seriously radiant! And we are in love with the half updo our friends at Reveal Hair and Make-up designed to keep Lin’s hair out of her face while still showcasing beautiful long curls.

This couples families flew from all over the world for their Oahu Destination Wedding! Some are from the Philippines and others came from New Zealand. After meeting when they were 18 and being together for 9 years, Alexey and Alexander were more than ready to say “I do” with loved ones surrounding them!
Alexey and Alexander love Hawaii and have visited 4 times already, and we’re confident they’ll keep coming back! Alex can do the Cheee-hooo as good as any local lol, and these two are all about the shaka. After the ceremony, they headed to a luau with everyone as the perfect wrap up to their Oahu Destination Wedding! Talk about a festive celebration!

This couple decided to keep their Oahu Beach Elopement a complete surprise by not telling anyone! And we are thrilled to have been part of it. Not only was it a beautiful morning, but the love these two shared was so strong it was almost tangible!
A Memorable Moment
One of our favorite parts of this Oahu Beach Elopement was seeing our groom, Son so enthusiastic for their first dance. He didn’t hold back and impressed all of us, including our bride! Moments like this are what make a wedding day truly special and memorable.
Diem then changed into a second dress for wedding portraits, which she said was more her style. And we love these shots our sister company captured of our newlyweds letting loose and having fun in the crashing waves. It’s easy to see the bond they share is unbreakable, so we have every confidence they will have a long and happy life together!

As Oahu wedding coordinators it is incredibly fun to create gorgeous wedding inspirational shoots. We love showing future clients just what is possible by adding a few individual touches to their weddings in Oahu.
Feast your eyes on this gorgeous Oahu beach wedding on Waimanalo Beach in East Oahu.
Why an Inspirational Shoot?
From time to time we set up a styled shoot with models to show what’s achievable for weddings in Oahu. Inspirational shoots are a great way to see available options for floral, clothing styles, wedding locations and time of day. Oahu beach weddings are beautiful without extra decor, but for the person who wants something extra, there are lots of options.
Breathtaking Wedding Floral
Our company values sustainable practices so we were in love with the idea of using only locally sourced florals. Floral Designer Debbie Hemingway came through with this fantastic bougainvillea dream arrangement. Bougainvillea grows wildly all over Hawaii and comes in these amazing vibrant colors. It is also very fickle, so it must be picked right before it is used in any arrangements. The bouquet was made from dried bougainvillea to ensure it looked good for the full shoot and stood up to the hot sun.
Timing of the Wedding is Important
We started this wedding shoot at the same time we would start a morning wedding. We wanted to show off the kind of light our clients can expect at that time of day. Because of the exceptionally gorgeous day on the morning of the shoot, we were able to show off Waimanalo Bay beach in all its glory. Waimanalo Bay offers towering mountains in the distance and unreal aqua watercolor.
We loved the way the hot pink and coral in the bougainvillea stood out against the aqua water. You can only get that color blue in the early part of the day, as the sun gets more overhead the blues of the water get softer.
Wedding Attire
For the bride’s wardrobe, we kept it simple with a fitted lace dress by Alexis. We procured the dress from Rent the Runway which had a great selection. We love the concept of using Rent the Runway for your wedding clothing. Rent the Runway makes fashion accessible to all and is a more sustainable option than buying a dress you will only wear once. For our groom, we scored stylish navy pants, light blue shirt, and floral print blue tie from our favorite store for bargains, Nordstrom Rack. Who doesn’t like one-stop shopping at great deals!?
Wedding Hair & Make-UP
Our friends at Reveal Hair and Make-Up did such a great job with the hair and makeup. We loved the idea of a bold lip to tie in the bright bougainvillea floral arrangements. The loose braid hairstyle kept the hair out of our model’s face and was perfect for the shoot! Beaches in Hawaii are notoriously windy so a manageable hairstyle is a must.
Wedding Photography
Our sister company Karma Hill Photography knocked it out of the park with their signature soft, airy, cinematic style. The airy photographic feel accentuated the vibrant color of the floral and light-colored beach sand contrasts. As Oahu wedding coordinators we believe quality photography is of the utmost importance. Having amazing wedding photography is the only way to capture the real beauty of your wedding day.

Special thanks to our models Megan and Tim. Megan is one of the photographers on the Karma Hill Photography team, so it was fun for her to get to feel what it is like to be in front of the camera. She said it gave her a new appreciation for what clients feel like on their wedding day. Tim was such a great sport and took the day off from work to start his modeling career 🙂 .

Having traveled from Texas for their Oahu Destination Wedding, Ashley and Chase were so excited to get married in paradise! And we were so happy to be part of it 🙂 . It was definitely a day to remember, full of so much excitement and love!
Even though these two have known each other since high school, they actually reconnected many years later as adults and fell in love. And we are so glad they did! Our favorite part of their Oahu Destination Wedding was when this bride and groom got in the water at the end of the evening for a few fun wedding portraits. We love it! Cheryl and Yishi’s Oahu Venue Wedding took place on a peaceful morning at Paradise Cove’s grassy lawn setting overlooking the ocean. Surrounded by blue sky, palm trees, and loved ones this couple was more than ready to get married! And we are so happy we could be part of their very special day.
We especially love that this bride and groom decided to include flower petals at their Oahu Venue Wedding for an extra added touch. Not only did they make for beautiful aisle decor, but they also looked incredible in their wedding photos. This shot of Cheryl and Yishi kissing with the petals being tossed over them is one of our very favorites. And how perfect is it that they were able to include their wedding colors of white and light pink in this way as well?!
After taking beautiful portraits with our sister company, our newlyweds headed for a celebratory dinner at Signature Steakhouse. What a fun and delicious way to end such a special occasion! As we started planning Niezel and Rey’s Oahu Beach Wedding we could tell it was important for them to include their loved ones and church community! Surrounded by family and their church friends, these two were more than ready to say, “I do”. Their ceremony was truly memorable! We were so touched to witness as their pastor from the Big Island and their pastor from Washington joined this bride and groom in a meaningful way. We know this is a moment they will always hold close to their hearts!
After their morning Oahu Beach Wedding our newlyweds headed to the Barefoot Beach Cafe for a tasty lunch.
