Sammy and Drex’s Oahu venue wedding was a truly special day for this incredible couple! They wanted something simple and stress-free, especially since they were planning their wedding from out of state. They opted for a family/close friends wedding which felt like the perfect fit for them! Sammy and Drex loved that they could also have the live stream/recording option, so all of their loved ones could be a part of their special day…

“It was love at first swipe!” Drex told us before their big day. Their love story began with a swipe on a dating app, and much to their surprise, it actually worked! Sammy was in Arizona, and Drex was in the Philippines. But they talked every single day and soon realized they were each other’s biggest supporters. Sammy said even though long-distance relationships can be tough, when they’re with the right person, they’re easy! This happy pair proved that belief to fullest! A Secret Garden

Their Oahu venue wedding was at Kualoa Secret Island in the Moli’i Gardens, nestled by the fish ponds. It was so serene and beautiful… The tranquil beauty of this little spot felt like a secret garden in a tropical oasis. We loved how Sammy made a grand entrance on the magnificent stairwell, and everyone was so happy to join in their celebrations! Drex couldn’t stop smiling at his beautiful bride!

A Day Full Of Love And Laughter

But what struck us most about these lovebirds was how giggly and full of laughter they were! It was evident that they are the best of friends and truly enjoy each other’s company. We walked around the lush lawns and by the dock, capturing just the two of them to savor the romantic moment. There is something about water and lush greenery that makes you feel like you’re in a secret garden!

Sammy and Drex look so incredibly happy together, and it was an honor to capture these special moments! The joyful laughter, tender moments, embraces, and kisses were just the first of many in their next chapter together…

Have you ever heard of high school sweethearts who went the distance and got married? Well, that’s exactly what happened with Josh and Samantha! They met in World History class in high school, and after almost a decade together, they tied the knot at their Oahu venue wedding!

Samantha was in love with the island when she visited with her mom, and she thought, “I’d love to get married here one day!” Since Josh’s family has roots in Oahu, he and Samantha knew it was the perfect place to celebrate their love story. It was the icing on the cake, and a dream come true!

Their big day at Paradise Cove was an intimate and laid-back affair, full of love and happiness. The fresh green and tropical colors of their beach wedding perfectly complemented the island’s natural splendor.

As they exchanged their vows on the sandy beach surrounded by their loved ones, Josh and Samantha looked so natural and at ease. Their love shines through every photograph from their wedding day!

After their sweet Oahu venue wedding ceremony, our happy newlyweds snuck off with our photographer to capture a few inimate moments by the water’s edge. Samantha and Josh are so ready for their future together after almost ten years of dating! (A lot of that was long distance too!) Once Josh is finished his commitment to the Air Force, they are hoping to move back closer to family to start a family! But for now, they embraced the present moment and their newlywed bliss!

Our sweet couple met at work, both working for the government, and they share a love for travel and cherishing every moment in life, whether simple or exceptional. Emmanuelle fell in love with Oahu during a trip in 2019, and it was no surprise they chose it as the perfect destination for their wedding! So when it came to planning their special day, they wanted to make sure to include an element of the Hawaiian culture in their ceremony! Their beach nuptials was relaxed, easy, and beautiful…

More Than Anything

Their Oahu elopement was a beautiful celebration of their love and just for them. “She’s all that I need; I love my future wife,” Dave told our wedding coordinators! In the early days of their relationship, while Dave always valued marriage, although Emmanuelle wasn’t always so sure, but he proposed, and she said yes! That’s when you know you’ve met the one!

The entire day was simple, elegant, relaxed, intimate, and original, with a touch of Hawaiian culture, making it a perfect reflection of who they are. Kualoa Beach was dreamy with its calm shores and salty breeze. The two of them radiated with joy and happiness as they exchanged their vows! Even though they have a blended family, this was their moment…a new beginning as husband and wife!

One of the things our newlyweds adore about Hawaii is the tropical scenery and natural splendor! This moment felt like just the two of them in paradise with love all around. The simplicity and beauty of the natural surroundings were all these two needed when it came to committing their hearts to each other. Simple and beautiful is what we do best! We are honored to be a part of this beautiful moment in their lives!

At Simple Maui Wedding, we are all about celebrating life’s big moments of love and happiness! So we were delighted to coordinate Angeline and Rob’s special Oahu beach wedding. Not only was it a sacred commitment of their love, but it was also a celebration of their baby girl on the way! They had been engaged for almost a year and were excited to tie the knot before their little baby girl arrives. And they also were planning to spend their honeymoon in Hawaii too!

Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, and after realizing how much work and money it took, they decided to go with the easiest and most carefree option – eloping in Hawaii! They turned their trip into a wedding/honeymoon/babymoon combo, which was the perfect way to start their new adventure together!

Although it was a tough decision to exclude their family and friends from the wedding day, they knew it was the right choice for them! They still plan to celebrate with all their loved ones back home with a party. Plus, their intimate beach wedding was incredibly special and allowed them to focus solely on each other and their love. It was casual, carefree, and relaxed…

They exchanged their heartfelt vows at Kualoa Beach Park, and it was a beautiful and breezy day. The stunning backdrop of the ocean and China Man’s Hat added even more magic to their Oahu beach wedding. They looked so happy and head over heels in love, which made our job as wedding photographers even more enjoyable!

A Place to Start Their Forever

Jason & Jodie are a joyful couple, always ready to share a laugh and find adventure. So marrying in Hawaii seemed like a natural choice. So many details needed to come together: song choices, guest lists, vacation plans, color pallet. But first, they needed to find the perfect place.

After some research, they decided a Kualoa Ranch Secret Island would be perfect for them. This scenic spot became a place where all their other wedding dreams could come true. It was a unique experience for their guests, who could enjoy this hidden gem of a wedding venue. It allowed everyone to sit comfortably for the ceremony without worrying about beachgoers and permitting restrictions.

And the natural beauty of this place allowed Jason & Jodie to create a simple yet meaningful plan that was true to who they are as a couple.

Elope in Oahu Under Pastel Skies

We met Monica & Justin on the beach just as the sun was beginning to set. The clouds in the sky filtered the golden sun into dreamy pastel hues. But there was also plenty of light. The sun’s rays peeking through the horizon, their dreams for the future shining in the distance, and their love for each other, brighter than anything else.

It’s this love that will get Monica & Justin through the tough times, and that will make the good times even sweeter. Without the pressures of a traditional wedding, they were able to reflect on all this. Despite being a giggly couple, they were serious with their vows. That’s one of the things we loved about their ceremony — the balance between emotions. Laughter, tears — we got it all.

Monica & Justin were on island time. They didn’t have to rush off anywhere, so we were able to get great portraits of them around the beach. And though these two decided to elope in Oahu with no guests, we could tell they had so much love and support from back home. Now they also have these images so that they can share their day with everyone who was there in spirit.
