Some weddings feel like the perfect mix of romance, tradition, and a little bit of fun. Jordan and Jacqueline’s Oahu venue wedding was all of that and more.
Their story started in July 2023 on Bumble, where Jordan noticed Jacqueline’s love for food and travel. He sent her a message saying he was into both, too. That tiny spark led to conversations that haven’t stopped since. By July 2024, during Jordan’s annual family trip to Orcas Island, he proposed at sunset on the beach. A quiet cabin, waves rolling in, and a new chapter beginning, it was the kind of moment you replay in your mind over and over. And now we are excited to share highlights from their beautiful day!

Choosing Hawaii for their wedding was easy! Both already had fond memories of family trips to the islands, and Oahu felt like the right place to begin their lives together. Jacqueline had visited once before, right after graduating from Washington State University, while Jordan had been to Maui but never to Oahu. This was the perfect first.
Their venue, the Hyatt Regency Waikiki, gave them something uniquely beautiful. The terrace overlooked the cityscape, with palm trees swaying against the ocean breeze. It felt both vibrant and intimate, a tropical cityscape elegance paired with the joy of a celebration in paradise.

Their wedding was romantic, elegant, joyous, memorable, and perfectly traditional in the ways that mattered most. Friends and family surrounded them, music and laughter filled the air, and Hawaii wrapped the whole celebration in warmth.

And the portraits? Absolutely stunning. Their photography was bright and airy, full of soft light that made every detail glow. Jacqueline looked radiant in her flowy gown, and Jordan beamed at her as if she were the only person in the world; together, they looked timeless. The palm trees, the Waikiki skyline, the sparkle of the Pacific, it all came together in images that feel both modern and classic.

The soft Waikiki light wrapped around them, highlighting every detail, the crown of flowers, the elegance of her gown, the warmth of his smile. Together, they looked radiant, their love shining in every frame.

Congratulations, Jordan and Jacqueline! Your wedding was beautiful in every way! We wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Some love stories are written in the little details, and Salvador and Jasmine’s is one of them. They first met while working at In-N-Out, and what started as coworkers turned into something so much more. Their first vacation together was to Oahu, and years later, Salvador proposed there on Jasmine’s 25th birthday. So when it

Some love stories take time to unfold, and some just feel inevitable! Precious and Tim’s is both. They first connected through a dating app, only to discover later that they already had friends in common. (The universe, it seems, has a flair for timing.) From the very beginning, the idea of marriage was always there, less if, more when.
Their “when”, an Oahu venue wedding, finally arrived at the breathtaking Lanikuhonua Cultural Institute on Oahu. With its sweeping ocean views, lush tropical grounds, and golden sunset light, it set the perfect stage for two nurses who spend their days caring for others to finally celebrate their own love story.

From the moment Precious walked down the aisle at Lanikuhonua Cultural Institute, escorted with such pride and emotion, the day was threaded with meaning. The floral-lined pathway, the sun glinting through the palms, and the beaming smiles of loved ones watching made every step unforgettable. Tim stood waiting, looking at her with that unmistakable mix of joy and awe that says: this is it, this is forever.

The ceremony itself was tender and intentional. Against the backdrop of the Pacific, they exchanged vows that had been a long time coming. The photos capture it all: their clasped hands, the laughter, the emotion in their eyes. It was everything they dreamed of and more.

After the “I do’s,” our photography style leaned into what we love most: candid, timeless, joy-filled moments. There were the group shots, a vibrant sea of family and friends cheering, celebrating, and enveloping the newlyweds with love. And on the beach, Tim twirled Precious in the sand, her gown catching the last light of day. Under her veil, they shared a quiet, glowing kiss while the ocean shimmered behind them.

Precious and Tim are both nurses, balancing busy schedules with their shared love for trying new restaurants, traveling, and savoring time together. Their Oahu venue wedding reflected that same spirit: joyful, adventurous, and full of warmth.

Congratulations, Precious and Tim! Your Oahu wedding was a long-awaited chapter, and every photo from Lanikuhonua tells the story of two hearts that always knew where they belonged.

When Kathleen and Irvin said “let’s elope in Hawaii,” they didn’t just mean any beach. No, no, these two chose Kualoa Beach Park for their Oahu elopement! It’s where the mountains look like they’ve been carved by gods with a flair for drama. This wasn’t just a wedding. This was cinematic! Together for over five

Oahu elopement days don’t get more breathtaking than Christina and Robert’s at Kualoa Beach Park. With Mokoliʻi (Chinaman’s Hat) rising proudly from the ocean and the Koʻolau mountains sweeping across the horizon. Their wedding backdrop looked like it was a postcard for Hawaii, and honestly, it kind of was!
The ceremony itself was beautifully intimate. Standing together in the sand, Christina’s veil danced in the trade winds while Robert, in a tan linen suit, held her hands like he was anchoring his whole world. Their officiant spoke with warmth and aloha as the waves rolled in behind them. It was a simple, elegant celebration that was just what they envisioned for their big day…

After their vows, the real magic unfolded during their newlywed portraits. Kualoa’s landscapes gave us everything: towering emerald cliffs touched by golden sunlight, a shoreline that sparkled like a film set, and palms swaying as if applauding their new beginning. Christina’s lace gown was radiant against the ocean blues, and her vibrant tropical bouquet brought the perfect pop of island color. Robert looked at her like she was the only person in the world (which, let’s be honest, she absolutely was in that moment).
Their portraits were cinematic yet effortless, with sweet forehead kisses, playful laughter, and those just-married smiles that could light up even the stormiest skies. Every frame captured not just their romance, but their ease together, the kind of love that feels like home no matter where you stand.

Christina and Robert’s Oahu elopement was more than a wedding by the sea. It was a beginning wrapped in sunlight, laughter, and aloha. Congratulations to this sweet couple, we wish you endless joy as you begin your forever in paradise!

Hilary and Taylor’s love story is as charming as a Hallmark movie, complete with a small-town Alabama backdrop, meddling matchmakers, and a whole lot of heart. After six years of building a life together—complete with Taylor’s sons, JT and Cole, and their lovable “low rider” pup, Tate—the couple decided it was time to make their

Some people choose a wedding venue for the view. Some for the convenience. But Brandon and Katie? They chose an Oahu beach wedding on Papa’iloa Beach because it’s stitched into the very fabric of their love story, with a little family legacy, a dash of sentimentality, and one incredibly thoughtful (and kind of genius) 3D-printed Ring Pop.
Let’s rewind. Brandon and Katie first crossed paths in high school thanks to mutual friends. Life took them in different directions, college, careers, the whole “growing up” thing—but fate (and perhaps a very smart algorithm) brought them back together after graduation. Since they officially started dating in 2017, one thing’s been consistent: their yearly trips to Papa’iloa Beach. It’s been their favorite place for ocean breezes, lazy afternoons, and quiet walks, just the two of them.
But this beach wasn’t just a vacation spot. It was home in the emotional sense, especially for Brandon. His great-grandmother grew up on Oahu and raised his grandmother there. Though his family eventually moved to Minnesota, they remained deeply connected to their roots in the islands. Visiting Hawaii has always been meaningful, but when he brought Katie along for the first time, it felt different. Bigger. And, as it turned out, permanent.

In 2021, he proposed on Papailoa Beach with a Ring Pop he designed himself on a 3D printer (yes, really, this programmer knows how to combine heart and high tech). Hidden inside was Katie’s actual engagement ring. Let’s just say she said yes. Obviously.
So, when it came time to plan their wedding, it was never a question where they’d do it. Papa’iloa Beach wasn’t just a backdrop, it was the beating heart of their story.
Their Oahu beach wedding day was nothing short of stunning. Elegant without being stuffy. Intimate, personal, and full of love. The ocean sparkled, the sky showed off with soft pastel light, and the breeze carried just enough warmth to make everything feel like magic. Katie looked radiant, and the way Brandon looked at her, you could feel it. Years of love and laughter packed into one very quiet, very big moment.

Our favorite part? The simplicity. There was no need for extravagant décor when the setting was already so meaningful. Every step they took on that sand had history behind it, memories, promises, and now, vows.
They had the closest friends and family by their side, all anyone could ever wish for!

We’re so honored to have captured their wedding day, filled with joy, gentle waves, and the kind of light you wish you could bottle up and keep forever. Congratulations, Brandon and Katie! Your wedding was everything a love story should be: thoughtful, deeply personal, and impossibly beautiful.

Alyssa-Mae and David’s love story is the kind that feels effortless—like sunshine on a warm day, like the way the ocean always finds the shore. Easy. Natural. Meant to be. They met back in 2013, working at a local surf shop in San Diego, and by 2014, they were inseparable. Fast forward to Thanksgiving 2021, when David proposed in the sweetest, most intimate way—at Alyssa’s childhood home, surrounded by the people who mean the most.
And now? Now they were here, in the one place that had become their home away from home. Oahu wasn’t just a wedding destination—it was the place. Their first trip together. Their yearly tradition for David’s birthday. A backdrop to so many memories, and now, to the biggest one yet. Their Oahu venue wedding! Curious to see how it unfolded? Keep reading!

Their wedding at The Charming Estate was nothing short of breathtaking. A lush lawn stretched wide, mountains standing tall in the distance, the kind of setting that doesn’t need anything extra because it’s already perfect. The day felt warm, intimate, deeply personal. Family-filled and love-soaked. And the best part? Their sweet little girl was there, making the moment even more magical!

After the vows, they took it all in—soaking in the love, the joy, the surreal feeling of this is happening. They wandered through the tropical surroundings, stealing newlywed moments and capturing them in stunning photos with their daughter. It was simple and elegant, classic and heartfelt! Their Oahu venue wedding had all the feels!

And oh, they looked amazing. Alyssa-Mae in a clean, minimal gown that was nothing short of timeless. David, sharp and dapper, grinning ear to ear! And with that view it was perfection!

Alyssa-Mae and David, your Oahu venue wedding was as beautiful as the life you’ve built together. Congratulations! Here’s to a love as deep as the ocean and as constant as your yearly Oahu trips! Mahalo for choosing Simple Oahu Wedding!

Jeffery and Nikisha’s Oahu beach wedding was a beautiful reflection of their journey together — simple, elegant, and filled with deep love. Their story began in 2023, when Nikisha messaged Jeffery first with a casual “hey there,” sparking a conversation that quickly became something extraordinary. Long-distance wasn’t easy, but video calls, virtual date nights, and shared meals kept the connection strong as they eagerly looked forward to meeting in person.
In 2023, Nikisha flew to LA to spend Christmas and New Year’s with Jeffery and his family. In April 2024, it was Jeffery’s turn to fly to New Zealand, where they indulged in good food and spent quality time together. The trip culminated in a quiet evening that would soon become one of the most unforgettable moments of their story.
After a dinner with Nikisha’s best friend, they headed to a beachside spot at Mission Bay for a late-night stroll. In what felt like a perfect, everyday moment, Jeffery began to tell Nikisha how much she meant to him — a conversation they’d had many times before. But this time, there was something more. After a few heartfelt words, Jeffery told her he had a present for her, guiding her to close her eyes. As she did, his voice shifted from beside her to in front, and when she opened her eyes, there he was, down on one knee with a ring box glowing softly in the night! Fast forward to their incredible big day when they both said “I, Do!”

Surrounded by the beauty of Kualoa Beach Park, with the mountains in the distance and a few close friends and family nearby, Jeffery’s proposal was nothing short of magical. Nikisha’s tears and the simple, perfect words — “yes, yes I will marry you” — marked the beginning of their new chapter!

Their wedding day was just as breathtaking — a testament to their love, captured against the stunning backdrop of Oahu. Simple, elegant, and filled with joy. Congratulations to this beautiful couple!

When Amanda and Erik said “I do” during their Oahu beach wedding, they did it in the most beautiful, simple, and relaxed way imaginable. Picture this: soft golden light, a serene setting, and two people totally in love—surrounded by close family and friends in a setting that could only be described as magical.
The wedding had the perfect vibe—casual yet chic, stress-free but so full of meaning. No need for elaborate decorations or grand gestures—just a stunning backdrop of the ocean and sky, and a couple that radiated joy. The best part? The lighting. It was incredible. The soft glow of the sun as it dipped lower into the sky created a dreamy atmosphere, filling every photo with that perfect “golden hour” glow. It was everything these love birds envisioned and more!

But what really made their wedding shine was their unique personal touches. To commemorate the day, they incorporated some fun and meaningful Aloha-inspired elements, like a Hawaii license plate with their wedding date—a sweet nod to the island where they tied the knot. And how cute is this? Amanda wore a “Just Married” jean jacket that added the perfect casual, yet playful touch. It was totally them—fun, stylish, and full of personality.
The whole day felt incredibly special—nothing too flashy, just an intimate celebration of love in the most beautiful and peaceful setting. They truly brought their personalities to the day, making it a celebration that was as unique as their love story!

Amanda and Erik’s Oahu wedding was the perfect example of how simple and relaxed can also be utterly magical. What a beautiful day it was! Congrats to you both!!
