What does it take to find love halfway around the world? For Robin and Mitchell, it started with a chance encounter during their military service in Korea. From there, they embarked on a long-distance relationship that spanned two years until they finally found their way to Alaska. We were delighted to bring their vision to life and excited to share the story of their beautiful Oahu venue wedding, filled with love, laughter, and a touch of paradise!

Curious to know more about our happy pair’s beginning? Robin and Mitchell’s love story began in Korea, where they crossed paths through work. With their three adorable dogs by their side, they built a life filled with shared interests like watching movies, playing video games, and simply enjoying each other’s company.

Choosing a wedding venue can be a daunting task, especially when families are spread across different states. Robin’s family lived in California, while Mitchell’s hailed from Texas. The stress of planning and deciding on a location was becoming overwhelming. Thankfully, Mitchell suggested Hawaii as a backup plan, and Robin embraced the idea with open arms!

As the sun shone down on Paradise Cove, Robin and Mitchell’s wedding day unfolded in all its glory. The anticipation grew as Mitchell eagerly awaited his first glimpse of his beautiful bride during their heartwarming first look. It was a tender moment filled with excitement and love, setting the tone for the rest of their ceremony.

As Robin walked down the aisle, she looked absolutely stunning, radiating joy and happiness. Mitchell’s eyes lit up as he took in the sight of his bride, ready to embark on this new chapter together. When it comes to love, Michael and Lea are the perfect embodiment of fun, goofy, hardworking, and adventurous. After all they had been through, their big day had finally arrived; their Oahu beach wedding!

That’s when Michael came up with the brilliant idea of getting married in Oahu, a place they had always dreamt of visiting for their honeymoon! (We loved the sound of that!) Their love story has been six years in the making, but for these love birds, their love journey has just begun! After overcoming life’s challenges and long-distance dating, their relationship only grew stronger. (A sign of true love!) As they said, “I do,” we could see the love and adoration radiating from both of them. It is evident they are head over heels in love and so excited to begin this new chapter in their lives together!

It was just the two of them at their ceremony at Kualoa Beach Park, and the moment’s gravity was felt in every way possible. Forever Yours

When our beautiful couple arrived at Papa’iloa Beach Park for their elegant Oahu elopement ceremony, the pops of red of Esther’s custom bouquet and Brent’s boutonniere were striking! It really showed off their unique style and beautifully contrasted with the blue ocean in the distance… This beautiful beach is one of our favorites for a romantic elopement simply because it feels like you have the beach and its natural beauty all to yourself…

What we love about elopements is that they focus solely on a couple’s commitment and love for one another…Esther and Brent’s Oahu elopement was no different as they shared many tender and inimate moments, ready to commit to each other for the rest of their lives…it doesn’t get any more romantic than that!

Our happy newlyweds wanted to take full advantage of all of the natural features this beach offers, like the rocky tidepools and a long stretch of sand! These photographs capture their pure joy and playful connection as they look toward their future together. Their bliss led them to jump right into the water too! The splash of waves was like a beautiful newlywed blessing from the ocean…

Our lovely couple had always dreamt of Hawaii as one of their bucket-list destinations, and what better occasion to visit than their wedding! They chose to have their ceremony at Paradise Cove Luau Point, overlooking the stunning coastline. With plenty of tropical elements, from palm trees to turquoise waters, it was the perfect spot for their intimate celebration! Although they are a long way from Latvia, home was and will always be found in each other’s arms…cheers to you both!

Clare & Christopher’s venue wedding in Oahu was straight out of a fairytale! The exquisite landscapes at Kualoa Secret Island surrounded our delightful duo as they exchanged vows. Then the heavy clouds and soft sunlight created a romantic mood. Most importantly, this ceremony was the definition of intimate! Our beautiful pair had only two guests in attendance — their two children! Keep scrolling to see this gorgeous event for yourself.

Secret, relaxed, and intimate are a few words our charming couple used to describe their sunset occasion! Kualoa Secret Island was the perfect place for Clare and Christopher’s special day. This private spot has an endless amount of breathtaking views! First, we set up the wedding on the shoreline. The cerulean waves, beige sand, and lofty palm trees were an impeccable background for this tranquil event. After the ceremony, Karma Hill Photography captured flawless portraits of our radiant newlyweds with epic mountains and an ancient fish pond!

Why They Had a Venue Wedding in Oahu

Clare and Christopher wanted to keep their wedding simple and stress-free. They made the right choice by teaming up with us! We covered the basics of planning their day, then ensured their ceremony would look stunning. Above all, we’re glad to hear our passionate pair loves their day! 

This romantic getaway wasn’t our radiant newlyweds’ first time on the island! Thirteen years ago, Clare and Christopher visited Oahu and Lana’i. Since it was one of their most unforgettable holidays — they knew they had to return with their daughters!

Our lovely couple met when they were nineteen years old. Then in 2011, they got engaged in Sardinia, Italy! Christopher is a property developer, while Clare works in Investment Banking. They have two daughters, who are eleven and eight years old. As a family, this bunch loves being active! You can find them hiking, boating, and skiing in their spare time. Lastly, Clare and Christopher have been a couple for twenty years. However, they decided it was time to get married since they were both turning forty. Their Oahu venue wedding was the perfect way to celebrate their strong connection!
