Carrie and Teddy were full of nothing but pure bliss on the days leading up to their beach wedding in Oahu. The Simple Oahu Wedding team made planning stress-free for our charming couple. Teddy and the twenty wedding guests arrived at the beach before the ceremony. When the procession started, the ring bearer and two flower girls walked down first. Then Carrie glided down the sandy shore and made a grand entrance! Kahu Dennis Chong-Imamura was the officiant and performed a heartfelt sermon. After our charming couple became husband and wife, they went to the Paradise Cove Luau with their loved ones!

The Scenic Beach Wedding in Oahu

Paradise Cove Beach was the location for this magical ceremony. In the photos captured by Karma Hill Photography, you can see how perfect the weather was! Velvety clouds were covering the blue sky, but it didn’t dim the sun’s radiance! You can see how golden hour left a warm glow on the pearly shores and created an enchanting ambiance. Surrounding our couple was calm cerulean waves, dramatic lava rocks, and lofty palm trees. This breathtaking scenery made every portrait of our passionate newlyweds so romantic!

Our groom looked classic in his dark vanilla suit; it was bold and sophisticated. We like how beautifully the beige tones of his suit balance with the natural hues surrounding him! Carrie made a gorgeous bride! Her ivory gown is elegant, and paired gracefully with her simply classic hair and makeup! Duan and Ross wanted an intimate, fun, and romantic wedding. And Kualoa Regional Beach was the perfect spot for this occasion. The weather was flawless, with the vibrant morning sun lighting up the sky and a few clouds scattered around! Our beautiful couple already looks like they’re in their own world, but the romantic lighting enhances it!

Our lovely couple had an Oahu destination wedding because they wanted to surprise their friends and family. Instead of having a grand wedding, the idea of having a small private ceremony enticed them. Duan and Ross eloped with no one but themselves and the breathtaking Hawaiian scenery surrounding them. You can’t get more intimate than this ceremony!

Our Couple’s Story

Ross and Duan’s story began when they met through a mutual friend while attending the University of California, Riverside. During their academic years, they became good friends and stayed in touch post-graduation. One day, Ross asked Duan on a date to the Getty Museum in Los Angeles. From there, their friendship blossomed into something more serious!

Our beautiful couple got engaged while taking a trip to Seattle, Washington. Ross popped the magic question to Duan at the Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum! Currently, they have been together for eight delightful years. They’re excited to start this new chapter in their lives: married life! Above all, we’re happy they started this next phase in their relationship with an Oahu destination wedding!

Our lovely couple wanted a relaxing, intimate, and romantic wedding. The Royal Hawaiian Golf Club is private, scenic, and lush — perfect for Marra and Dylan’s special day! This adventurous couple has moved to multiple states and cities. Right now, they call Las Vegas, Nevada home! When we learned this, we knew an Oahu venue wedding was perfect for them!

Our Couple’s Story

Marra and Dylan’s story began when they met thirteen years ago in middle school. At first, they actually disliked each other quite a bit. After a while of getting to know each other, they ended up becoming inseparable best friends! Although they didn’t end up dating until after high school, it didn’t take long for them to know they found the one! Our beautiful couple moved in together right away and have been in a relationship ever since.

Currently, they have three fur babies named Jude, Lucy, and Harley, and a feathered baby named Pistachio. Marra is a veterinary technician, while Dylan is a business sales support specialist. You can find them exploring, finding new bars or restaurants, and watching Netflix.

Our Couple’s Story

Kristin and Erwin were both born and raised in the Philippines. Their story began when they met as classmates getting their undergraduate degrees. When the time was right, Erwin planned a remarkable proposal! Kristin traveled from the Philippines to Rochester, Michigan to attend a wedding with him. Before the wedding, with his family around them, Erwin popped the question! We love how Kristin made the journey without having a clue that she’d get engaged!

Ten years later, Erwin works as a Neonatologist while Kristin is a stay-at-home mother. They have a daughter named Den-Den that Kristin home schools. You can find them going on food trips, cooking, and occasionally shopping together in their free time. Kristin and Erwin love to travel together! We are happy that one of their trips included an Oahu vow renewal with us!

Flying in from Chicago for their Oahu beach elopement, Sara and Brandon were surrounded by paradise as they said their “I do’s.” It was a beautiful afternoon at Kualoa Regional Park Beach. The ocean was glistening and there was a perfect view of Chinaman’s Hat on the horizon.

Sara and Brandon wanted a simple yet beautiful option for their elopement, and Hawaii was the perfect place for both. It may have been just the two of them in person, but with our Virtually There Package, our couple was able to stream the event to loved ones back home. It was a sweet ceremony and we know there were some wet eyes back in Chicago!

At six months pregnant, Sara looked absolutely glowing in her wedding gown. Their Oahu beach elopement isn’t just the start of their marriage, but the start of their life as a family. Together for two years, Sara and Brandon are excited to continue their journey together. There was no end to the happiness and joy during their beautiful ceremony. Last week we joined Auna & John on the calm shores of Paradise Cove for their Hawaii Beach Elopement. It was the ideal wedding for such an easygoing couple! With family on the island and the backdrop already decorated by Mother Nature, our couple felt Oahu was the perfect place for a low-key elopement.

The Hawaii Beach Elopement

With a handful of loved ones watching on, Auna and John had the simple and easygoing wedding of their dreams. Set on the golden sands of Paradise Cove Beach, the day was nothing short of beautiful. The sun drifted low on the horizon and highlighted the ocean with golden light. Our couple dressed for the occasion with laidback styles perfectly fitted for a Hawaii Beach Elopement! Who needs shoes when the sand is this soft! 

We loved Auna’s short and playful wedding dress. It was a great choice for a day filled with so many smiles. Her fern and orchid flower crown topped it off and added an elegant tropical touch. Speaking of touch, how touching are these two?! Auna and John’s sweet smiles and intimate looks as they exchanged vows spoke volumes of the deep love they share. 

Our Couple’s Story

Auna and John like to say they met “in the wild.” There were no dating profiles for these two, just a serendipitous night out with friends! Their chemistry was immediate, and they’ve been inseparable ever since! When the moment was right, John proposed in the comfort of their home, which was exactly what Auna had hoped for.

Sara and Leigh’s Oahu beach wedding was flooded with love and magical lighting! Did we mention love? Because there seemed to be an infinite amount of love on the shore that day! Set against the glistening backdrop of Paradise Cove Beach and with a handful of loved ones cheering them on, this was a heavenly ceremony.

The Oahu Beach Wedding 

Leigh watched with love in his eyes as Sara was escorted in by her father and then her children. It was a sweet and touching moment. Wearing a gorgeous and aromatic flower crown and draped in a mermaid-cut dress with a fresh-faced glow, Sara looked like the goddess she is! 

After Kahu Dennis Chong blessed the ceremony, Sara and Leigh exchanged their heartfelt vows and tied their lives together through marriage. It was a joyous moment! We followed up the big kiss with spectacular couples photos against the setting sun. Keep scrolling for all the sweet shots!

It was a gorgeous day for Chastine and Jonathan’s Oahu Destination Wedding on the shore of the Secret Island of Kualoa Ranch. With a stunning circular arch decorated with tropical blooms, Oahu’s famous islet in the backdrop, and a soft, white sandy shore all to themselves, it was a day bursting with love, happiness, and beauty.

Dressed to the nines, Jonathan watched the procession and waited patiently for his bride. Aria acted as the cutest little flower girl, laying a perfect river of flowers along the sand just moments before her mom made her grand debut. Wearing a princess-cut gown with delicate lace details and a show-stealing smile, Chastine is simply beautiful. When the big moment came, and Chastine and Jonathan were joined in marriage, the crowd erupted in cheers and celebration. The joy was tangible!

Our Couple’s Story

Chastine has two amazing kids (Alex – 7 and Aria – 5) and a fur pup named Schmidt. During their free time they enjoy hanging out as a family, cooking, watching movies, going for walks, and going to the park. 

Oahu Destination Wedding: Our Bride Tells Their Story

When asked how they met, Chastine shared the story: “We met on Match.com. I had been single for 3+ years… I think Jon had been single for that amount of time too.  We had both come out of really difficult previous relationships. I was convinced I was done with relationships… Forever. 😂”

“After my last deployment one of my friends was doing my hair, and she told me to give online dating a try.  I was pretty hesitant but fast forward a couple of years later I felt like I should give it a try because all I did was work and spend time with the kids–chances of me meeting someone in person were pretty slim. I was about to give up on online dating when I saw Jon’s profile. He looked like a genuinely nice person so I messaged him.”

Our Bride Tells Their Story

“I had already deleted all my info and pictures from my Match.com profile so I didn’t even think he would respond. He did and I had to give him my social media info to “prove” I was real.  A couple of days after we started chatting I was going on vacation with my kids to meet up with my family at Disney World and spend time with them in Washington state.”

“We were gone for about a month. I was convinced Jon wouldn’t “wait” for me to come back before we could go on a real date but he did. We both love Korean BBQ so that was our first date! We just clicked. He’s such a wonderful person.  The fact that my kids warmed up to him right away was a great sign too.  My son hardly opens up to people and he cuddled up with him right away. 🥰”
