The moment Chloe walked down the aisle, we couldn’t help but notice how breathtaking she looked! Her white dress was elegant and chic — her delicate flower crown is the perfect accessory for her look. Devin’s attire is sharp and sophisticated! His white button-up shirt and khaki pants are a classic look. We have no doubts these neutral tones in his apparel will pair splendidly with the deep greens in his maile lei.

The Magical Oahu Beach Wedding

Setting the scene for this event was Wai’alae Beach Park. Silky clouds covered the sky and created a dreamy ambiance. In every portrait captured by Karma Hill Photography, you can see the sun’s soft glow shining onto the shore! Then the long sandy shore had plenty of space for every guest to spread out and appreciate the ceremony. However, our favorite thing about this location is the breathtaking scenery. You can see the lofty palm trees, vivid greenery, and cerulean waves decorating the background of every picture!

After this lovely couple became newlyweds, the sun began to shimmer brilliantly as the clouds cleared up. It was excellent weather to capture some portraits! The Location For Their Oahu Beach Wedding

We set up for this event in a nestled corner of the shore when the sun started to lower. Surrounding the ceremony were calm sapphire waves, lofty palm trees, and dramatic lava rock formations. Above all, we couldn’t have asked for better weather! Only a few fluffy clouds were hanging in the blue sky. Then, the soft lighting from the sunset created a romantic and dreamy ambiance!

Our Couple’s Story

Danielle and John’s story began when they met in 2007 while attending middle school. Our charming couple always had similar friends and hung out with the same people. In 2013, when Danielle moved back to the Bay Area, this beautiful duo started dating. John slid into Danielle’s DMs and asked her out. Seven years later, he popped the question in their backyard on Mother’s Day!

Our radiant couple’s Oahu beach wedding was meaningful to them because Danielle’s family on her dad’s side is from here! Although our passionate couple lives in California — Hawaii will always be another home for them and their family.

Lauren and Jordan wanted to get married before the end of the year. Initially, our cute couple was planning to tie the knot at their local city hall. Then they realized they already had a trip to Hawaii on the books. It was the perfect opportunity for them to have an Oahu destination wedding and invite their families! Why We Love Their Oahu Destination Wedding

Besides the breathtaking location, we adore this wedding because of how beachy and intimate it is! Kahu Kawena Mechler officiated a flawless ceremony, and eight of our cute couple’s family members were in attendance. Also, we like how stunning our newlyweds look! Lauren’s appearance is elegant — her tulle gown is ethereal and hair is boho! While Jordan’s attire is sharp, you can see how classic his black suit is. Our bride’s Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet and groom’s delicate boutonniere tie their outfits together and make them look more tropical!

Our Couple’s Story

Jordan and Lauren are opposites! This lovely couple connected over their similar senses of humor, shared values, and support for one another! Jordan enjoys mountain biking or working out. While Lauren likes to cook and relax at home in her spare time. Together, you can find them laughing or making up songs and nicknames for each other! Although they’re different, they make a strong team and value their partnership!

Currently, Jordan works for Microsoft. And Lauren does the layout for the Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce. During summer, they enjoy playing badminton and paddle boarding. In the winter, they cozy up, eat a home-cooked meal, and watch classic films! Most importantly, we’re glad they spent autumn having a destination wedding in Oahu!

The first one to arrive at the venue was Christopher and their guests. After that, Elizabeth took the second boat to the secret island! Elizabeth and Christopher had their ceremony at Kualoa Ranch Secret Island. When you get transported to this spot, you’ll feel as if you’ve entered a fairytale! With the epic mountains, deep greenery, and the teal ocean — you’ll always see a new breathtaking view! Most importantly, we love how private this location is. It was perfect for our charming couple’s intimate ceremony!

Our Couple’s Story

Our beautiful couple’s story began when they met in high school; Elizabeth was a freshman while Christopher was a sophomore. Although they grew up in bordering small towns, they went to the same high school. On November 22, 2010, they began dating; and have been inseparable ever since!

In 2018, they got engaged on a cruise to the Caribbean. Christopher had the ring in his pocket, but it accidentally fell out. This mishap caused him to do an impromptu proposal. He saved the day by getting down onto one knee and popping the magic question on a whim! To this day, Elizabeth thinks it’s a funny story!

This Oahu destination wedding was our adventurous couple’s first time in Hawaii! They have always wanted to visit because of the riveting culture, dreamy scenery, and peaceful energy. Above all, they got to explore a new place as newlyweds!

Our Couple’s Story

In 2010, our beautiful couple separately came to the United States from Taiwan. They first met in the Lone Star State, Austin, Texas, in 2012. For seven years, their relationship was long distance. Jerry lived in Texas, while Joey was in Indiana for her Ph.D. then California for her postdoctoral studies. On August 4th, Joey’s birthday, Jerry proposed while they were in a forest in Big Bear, California! 

Currently, Joey has her Ph.D. in Learning Sciences and is working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California. Jerry is a Chemical Engineer in Houston, Texas. They have been together for nine years. After seven years, they finally moved to the same state and moved in together last month! Kailey and James met when they were freshmen in college. They have been inseparable ever since the first day of the semester! In 2016, James asked Kailey to marry him. She said yes, but also no because they weren’t quite ready yet. Our lovely couple circled back to the question after they finished college and started their careers. Then in 2020, they publicly got engaged!

This occasion was our gorgeous couple’s first time in Hawaii! They were most excited to make this visit more remarkable with their wedding and honeymoon.

Since Kailey and James are an adventurous duo, eloping in Oahu was right up their alley! Most importantly, we’re glad we were able to be part of their delightful wedding day!

Currently, they moved to a new city and just recently finished settling in. We can’t wait to see what pictures they hang on the walls of their new home! There are so many enchanting shots to choose from!

Stefany and David wanted a beautiful, quiet, and scenic wedding; that made Waimanalo Bay the perfect location for them. This East Oahu beach set a serene backdrop with its white sandy shores and clear ultramarine water. We love how the natural tones of the landscape complement the soft white hues of the bride and groom’s outfits!

Our Couple’s Story

David is originally from the Philadelphia area, and Stefany is from Long Island, New York. Seventeen years ago, David moved across the country to San Diego. Then ten years later, Stefany relocated to America’s Finest City as well. In 2015, the two met on a popular online dating site where sparks flew. On July 2, 2021, they got engaged at Ruth’s Chris Steak House! 

Now, they have an orange pet cat, Smoochy, who is their alpha and omega! To them, Smoochy represents all the good things in the world. We wish Smoochy was at your beach wedding in Oahu because we’re positive he would’ve been the cutest cat we’ve ever seen!

This sunset is magnificent because of the pastel rainbow painting the sky behind the silky clouds. Above all, one of our favorite things is how the muted colors enhance the striking scenery of the beach. Since the hues from the landscape are deep, they are more dramatic against the delicate sunset’s light shades.
