Michelle & Anthony traveled from California for their Hawaii beach elopement. Holding hands at the calm shores of Waialae Beach, they vowed to spend the rest of their lives together. We loved being part of this beautiful moment!
We also loved meeting such an awesome couple! Michelle is an engineer – her job is to make sure rockets launch safely. She is a stargazer who practices martial arts and teaches self-defense. Anthony is an army vet who skateboards and also practices martial arts. He’s becoming a woodworker and teaches sword techniques. Individually, they each are so cool. Together they’re amazing!
These spiritual souls met at their Dojo as they were just starting to practice martial arts, and they fell in love because they share the same beliefs and values. Anthony proposed at one of their favorite spots for watching the moon, planets, and stars. How appropriate that their wedding date fell halfway between the summer solstice and June’s full moon! Scroll down to their sunset pictures and see how the moon made its own appearance at their Hawaii beach elopement!

Anthony and Michelle chose not to see each other before the ceremony. We love it when couples choose traditional elements for their Hawaii beach elopement! Karma Hill Photography captured their first look and emotional ceremony with Kahu Kawena.
The tide was high on this beautiful evening, so we picked a quiet spot right off the water’s edge for them to say “I Do.” After the ceremony, the newlyweds walked along the shoreline and enjoyed portraits as the sun set. Then they headed off for a celebration dinner in Waikiki. They were already having a great vacation, and now it was time for them to enjoy their honeymoon! Michelle & Anthony are hard workers who deserve a relaxing and fun time in paradise.
This was a memorable Hawaii beach elopement with a beautiful couple! Congratulations, Michelle & Anthony — Here’s to a lifetime of love and happiness!

When Amanda & David arrived to the beach for their Oahu Destination Wedding, we were so impressed by how kind and happy they were! A sweet couple enjoying a great time in Hawaii with their family. They looked amazing too!
We love Amanda’s beach bride style, and her tropical bouquet added the perfect touch to their look. David’s blue shirt ended up matching the water perfectly. Barefoot and sun-kissed, these two were made for a beach wedding!

Reverend Kawena guided Amanda & David through a lovely ceremony. Most of our couples exchange leis with each other, but these two also had leis for all their guests! It was a great way to include their family in the ceremony. Their two kids were great too – excited and ready to help with anything. We’re so glad we got to meet them!
The group was staying in Waikiki, the perfect area for a fun family vacation. Waimanalo Beach provided a more quiet atmosphere for a relaxed ceremony, so it was worth the drive. It also features great lighting and scenery. Check out all the great photos Karma Hill Photography captured for them there!

Amanda & David chose a destination wedding in Oahu because they didn’t want to stress over a big event. After booking their vacation here, they realized it would be perfect to get married here too!
They had been engaged for over 8 years, but they acted like a newly engaged couple — totally smitten with each other! After their barefoot ceremony, they got lots of romantic portraits all around Waimanalo Beach. They even got in the water for some trash-the-dress shots! Scroll down to see Amanda looking like a mermaid in the waves!

Congratulations Amanda & David We are so glad we got to be a part of your Oahu Destination Wedding!!

Brooke and Jamie’s Oahu Micro Wedding on the shore of Secret Island was like a private oasis. It was pure bliss. Together for over half a decade, Brooke and Jamie love to travel and felt a destination wedding was the perfect way to meld their passions with their “I do’s.”

With Jamie’s teenage children serving as Maid of Honor and Best Man, and in front of a simple yet elegant arch that framed the glistening ocean, this was a ceremony filled with love and beauty. Looking gorgeous in a gown with intricate beading and a flared princess-cut, Brooke is dazzling. We love how Jamie’s cream suit ties in with the mellow tones of the beachside. As spectacular as they looked, it was clear that they felt even better! Those smiles say it all.

Brooke works as an accountant for a real estate developer, and Jamie works in finance for an academic medical institution. They’re a blended family of four, and Brooke and Jamie love to travel, watch football, and attempt to work out.
High school brought Brooke and Jamie together, but it turned out to just be the first stepping-stone of fate and not the moment that started the romance. It took over a decade, and lots of growth and experiences in between for fate to pair them up once more. They rekindled their connection in their early thirties. And the magic was instant! After six years of dating, they were engaged at a fancy restaurant and the rest is history!

Congratulations, Brooke and Jamie! It was a joy being your Oahu Micro Wedding planner! We wish you only the very best in the years ahead!

There was endless aquamarine everywhere you looked during Atsumi and Bryden’s Oahu Beach Elopement. Set on the shimmering white sands of Waimanalo with just the bride and groom and a few loved ones in attendance, this beautiful ceremony featured love, love, and more love.

As vibrant and stunning as the Hawaiian shoreline was that morning, it couldn’t outshine our radiant couple! Dressed in a lace gown with a sheer overlay that flowed with the island breeze, Atsumi looked simply beautiful in a tropical flower crown and that sweet smile!
In a classic with a modern twist, Bryden tied his life together with Atsumi while sporting a French Blue suit and leather accents. These two were their own drop of sunshine on the beach that day!

Atsumi and Bryden originally planned for a large wedding with friends and family from the US and Japan. Since Oahu was right in the middle, they hoped to have an island wedding with plenty of loved ones in attendance. Unfortunately, due to COVID, they canceled the bigger ceremony. But they were thrilled to still have an Oahu Beach Elopement. And, wow, did it turn out beautiful!

Atsumi works as a dental assistant and moved to Seattle from Japan eight years ago. Bryden works at Amazon corporate and grew up around Seattle. Together they have two sweet cats and recently bought their first home–congratulations! They now love getting their style on and playing interior designer with their new house.
Atsumi and Bryden were engaged during a trip outside of the city. On their visit to a Japanese shrine, Bryden surprised Atsumi with the Big Question. And, of course, she said yes!

Congratulations, Atsumi and Bryden! Thank you for choosing us to coordinate your Oahu Beach Elopement! It was truly and beautiful ceremony. We wish you all the joy and happiness in the years ahead!

We were excited to meet Michelle & Kenneth for their Oahu venue wedding last week! This sweet couple met 3 years ago by “saying Hi” as Ken puts it! They were just passing by each other in Waikiki when their eyes met! That quick little hello eventually led to a lifetime commitment!
View this gorgeous couples beautiful photos at one of Oahu’s most picturesque wedding venues.

Their Oahu wedding day was like that of royalty! The Royal Hawaiian Golf Club offers gorgeous green lush backdrops that stretch for miles making it the perfect Hawaii venue wedding location. With the round arch set in front of all that gorgeousness, adorned in orchids, its beauty is unmatched. That is, until Michelle came walking down the aisle. Scroll down to see what we mean!

The gorgeous floral arch framed the newlywed couple perfectly with the lush valley vegetation adorning the background.

After their Mauka (towards the mountain) wedding ceremony, this sweet couple headed Makai (towards the ocean). Waimanalo Beach really showed out as well this particular day. Her soft pastel colors and dreamy light really add to the perfection of Michelle & Ken’s Oahu wedding.

Mahalo Michelle & Ken for choosing Simple Oahu Wedding to coordinate your Oahu wedding day! You were such a pleasure to work with!!

Jessica & Jonathan’s Oahu beach elopement was easygoing and beautiful, just as they hoped it would be! There may have been a bit of rain, but it was nothing like the downpour that their hometown of Georgia had been under. Their Special Day was a tropical reprieve from the drenching weather. The clouds cleared briefly during the ceremony and the result was a sky filled with a beautiful gradient of grays and teals.
Our couple’s love story begins with the roar of an engine. Jonathon owns a commercial tire shop and Jessica owns a dump truck business… it was a match made in paradise! Or maybe a match made in the automotive industry and a wedding made in paradise! Jessica had frequented Jonathan’s shop for almost two decades, and when the time was right, these two turned the keys to start their relationship! Two years later, on Jessica’s 40th birthday, Jonathan asked her to spend forever with him, and the rest of the story is below!

How good looking is this pair? We love the Southern charm they brought to the shore of Waimanalo. Hawaii has its own rich history of cowboys (known here as paniolo), and these two are totally pulling off an elegant Oahu Beach Elopement with a rustic country twist! Keep scrolling for all the beautiful shots!

For Amanda & Brandon, a venue wedding in Oahu was the perfect fit for their adventurous personalities! And when we say adventurous we mean it! This couple got engaged in Iceland while camping out in a VW bus! And as Brandon popped the big question on the shore of a black sand beach, he captured it all… on his drone! How legendary is that boss move?!
These two met at the gym, and the first thing Amanda said to Brandon was: “You’ve got a booger in your nose.” Her dad likes to joke that she “picked” the right one. And judging from that incredibly sweet face of his when he sees her up close, we have to energetically agree! Keep scrolling for all the sweet shots!

For their Big Day, they said “I do” on the grassy lawn of Paradise Cove Luau with their closest friends and family watching on. A hush came over the venue as Kahu Kawena shared one of her sacred songs…

And serving as ring bearer, was Brandon’s adorable (and incredibly mature!) nephew!

How epic is this dynamic crew! We love the energy and uplifting mood… and from the looks of it, Brandon was pretty uplifted too!

Cobalt blue and lace for ages… we’re obsessed with this couple’s style! And how incredibly gorgeous are they?! We love their sweet embrace and warm smiles!

Mahalo nui loa, Amanda & Brandon, for trusting us with your venue wedding in Oahu. We hope you had a blast skydiving to celebrate!! And we wish you all the very best in the years ahead…

It was our immense pleasure to help Jenna & Tarek elope in Oahu. This sophisticated couple said “I do” on the white sandy shores of Waimanalo as the gentle morning sun spread across the island.
But it seems as if Fate has paired these two with sandy shores… because it was on a white beach in Mexico when Jenna and Tarek first laid eyes on each other. By sheer chance (and a drop of destiny), they found each other while on vacation… and from their first walk along the beach, they knew it was forever.

And now, on the Hawaiian shoreline and overlooking the oceanfront, Jenna and Tarek’s Oahu beach elopement was bursting with the soft, intimate love of a couple designed to be together.
From their tender expressions to their heartfelt embraces, there was no hiding the sparkling electric current that coursed between these two…

Kahu Kawena Mechler officiated the ceremony with her calm and gracious demeanor. The spirit of her opening chant paired perfectly with the deep, resounding love of our couple.

Donned in a bohemian lace gown, Jenna is the walking embodiment of grace and beauty. Shinning with pride and adoration, her pure joy is luminous and matched only by the soft, sincerity of her devoted groom.

Mahalo nui loa, Jenna & Tarek for trusting Simple Oahu Wedding with your special Hawaii beach elopement. We wish you an abundance of love and plenty of romantic walks in the sand for the years ahead!
