We were so thrilled to coordinate Chante and Jason’s Oahu beach wedding. They were married last week on the shore of Waimanalo with friends and family in attendance. It was our pleasure to help them have the tropical and easy-going wedding of their dreams!

It was a clear day at Waimanalo with white sands that seemed to stretch on for miles. When it was time for the ceremony to begin, Reverend Kimo blew the conch and cued Chante’s entrance.
We loved how Chante made a splash on the shore. She said she wanted her wedding to be simple–with everything but the dress! Wearing a layered gown with a jeweled bodice, Chante is showstopping! And the day only got more beautiful. Chante and Jason exchanged vows and began their married life together.

Chante and Jason have been together for fifteen years, but Chante only introduced him to her children seven years ago. She kept him as her hidden secret as she focused on raising her kids. Now she says she’s marrying this man because he patiently waited. And the result was worth the wait! Chante’s children adore him!
Chante and Jason met 15 years ago at work. Jason proposed during a hike up a beautiful trail in Lake Tahoe. He was far behind Chante when he shouted that he thought their little dog was stuck in her collar. When their sweet pup came racing up to Chante, she noticed a sparkling ring attached to her collar. Our bride said it was “perfect and super unexpected!” Keep scrolling for more of our couple and their beautiful Oahu Beach wedding!

Congratulations, Chante and Jason! We wish you all the happiness in the decades ahead!

A simple morning ceremony with some great photos – sounds like the perfect Oahu Beach Wedding! Karra & Eric are such a sweet couple, we’re so glad we got to plan this for them. They didn’t need a big, dramatic wedding. Instead they opted for beautiful simplicity – barefoot on the beach. Joined by two precious guests – their daughters, Karra & Eric said I-Do, and they looked great doing it! Take a look at some of their Oahu Wedding Photos!

This was Karra & Eric’s first time to Oahu. We’re sure they’ll be back again now that they’ve got such great memories from our island plus Karra’s sister lives here! These sweethearts met at a barbershop when Karra was working there. They live in California, where Eric is a general contractor and Karra is a hairdresser.
Their two adorable daughters keep them busy, and they kept us swooning for their wedding. Scroll down and see the sweet girls all dressed up for Mom & Dad’s Oahu Beach Wedding!

We typically plan our Beach Weddings for either morning or sunset. Each are beautiful and special in their own way! Karra & Eric opted for a morning ceremony, and it was stunning! The morning light complemented their chic boho style.
Waimanalo Beach is quiet in the morning and features a magical blue-toned glow. What a great place for an Oahu Beach Wedding!
It also meant that the newlyweds could relax for the rest of their wedding day! After being pronounced husband & wife, it was time for some fun and romantic portraits with Karma Hill Photography. Then they had the whole day ahead of them to enjoy. We’re so glad we got to spend this time with them, and we wish them all the best!!

Congratulations, Karra & Eric! We loved meeting you and your sweet family! Mahalo for allowing us to coordinate your beautiful wedding!

When planning an Oahu venue wedding from afar, Ivonne & Eric were overwhelmed with all the elements they personally had to plan. So when they reached out to us to handle all the coordinating for a ceremony at Paradise Cove Luau, it was the perfect match for a Simple Maui Wedding. We’d call it a match made in heaven, but that honor goes to our couple!

Paradise Cove Luau looks out over the windward side of the island with glistening panoramic views of the ocean. It also features an onsight reception area with a live luau to celebrate your union the Hawaiian way! That’s why Ivonne and Eric chose it as their Oahu venue wedding location, it was the perfect place to tie the knot against the sunset and celebrate with family and friends.
Although their original wedding date was canceled due to Covid, and our couple officially said “I do” in March, they were still able to have their dream ceremony on the Hawaiian coast. And what a dream it was!

This sweet smile has us on cloud nine! We love the simple yet classic apparel of our bride and groom. Hawaiian style meets wedding-ready!

Eric & Ivonne met through a mutual friend five years ago. After dating for a few years, they quickly realized it was meant to be. Eric proposed at the airport, a system he knows well, working as a Ramp Lead in Texas. We love how their engagement location symbolizes all the adventures they’ll go on as a married couple! Ivonne is a travel nurse and our couple has already journeyed across states to be together!
Together they have FIVE grown boys and look forward to getting some time in to explore the island with family! Keep scrolling for more of this beautiful couple and their incredible day!

Thank you, Eric and Ivonne, for selecting us to coordinate your Oahu venue wedding. We wish you all the best in married life and send our fondest Aloha.

Few things are more adventurous and heartfelt than when a couple in love decides to elope in Oahu. And that’s exactly how Adriana and Frank chose to tie the knot! With their brilliant daughters in attendance and the cool, ocean breeze on their backs, this was a ceremony blessed with love and beauty.

Adriana and Frank felt eloping in Oahu was the perfect way to have a wedding that was “boho, relaxed, carefree, fun, elegant, and classic.” With no bells and whistles to take care of, Adriana and Frank were able to be in the moment with their love, their union, and their children.

The ceremony was simply beautiful. Adriana positively glowed in a boho gown with her hair down and blowing in the tropical breeze. It was so clear that our couple was deeply in love. After being together for ten years, Adriana and Frank have built a relationship rooted in honor and commitment, so taking that next step into marriage came naturally in their journey.

The sweet moment when Adriana and Frank gave both their daughter’s leis signified their union not just as a couple, but as a family.

Who needs rice when you have rose petals? And who needs church bells when you have the roar of the ocean? Adriana and Frank’s wedding day was an island dream! Almost as beautiful as their sweet family!

Adriana and Frank met through a mutual friend and clicked instantly. One day, Frank surprised Adriana by saying he had a present for her. But it wasn’t just any old present! When she got home, he gave her a little bag with a box inside it. And in that box was the ring that started it all!
Adriana says she was not expecting it! And now here they are, taking those steps to elope in Oahu and begin their lives as a married couple. Keep browsing for more beautiful photos of Adriana and Frank, their daughters, and their special day!

Mahalo nui loa, Adriana and Frank, for choosing us to help you elope in Oahu. It was a joyous day, and we were honored to be a part of it. Wishing you all the love and magic in the future ahead!

The afternoon was flooded with sunshine and crisp air during Lauryn and Michael’s Oahu Wedding on the shore of Kualoa’s Secret Island. Our couple took the first steps to marriage surrounded by loving friends and family and the lush greenery of the island.

Lauryn and Michael’s Oahu wedding was pure elegance and simplicity. With smiles all around, Lauryn’s parents walked her down the sandy aisle as Michael waited patiently.

Officiating the ceremony was the bride’s own uncle, and he knew exactly what to say to make her laugh on her special day. How cute is her smile?!

Both Lauryn and Michael are employed by the Army; she’s a civil engineer and he works at Tripler. Because Lauryn has been so busy at work, Michael took it upon himself to arrange the wedding details. He took the reins, and Lauryn was able to relax and await the big day. What a special wedding gift!

Following the big “I do,” our team at Karma Hill Photography whisked our couple away for romantic and fun photos with the gorgeous scenery of Secret Island in the backdrop. From gentle valleys to aqua oceans and rustic greenery, there was no shortage of beautiful locales to frame our couple against. And they were so adventurous and along for the ride! We had a great time sharing laughs and enjoying Lauryn and Michael’s special moment with them.

At last, we set sail over the ancient fish pond to return our couple safely to society, and our team snapped some final shots of Lauryn and Michael in front of the sailboat. It was the perfect end to a gorgeous and relaxed ceremony. It was a joy to send off our new husband and wife and such a rewarding journey to turn their dream wedding into reality.

Mahalo, Lauryn and Michael, for trusting us with your ceremony. We wish you all the joy and love in the decades ahead.

It was a gorgeous day for Chastine and Jonathan’s Oahu Destination Wedding on the shore of the Secret Island of Kualoa Ranch. With a stunning circular arch decorated with tropical blooms, Oahu’s famous islet in the backdrop, and a soft, white sandy shore all to themselves, it was a day bursting with love, happiness, and beauty.

Dressed to the nines, Jonathan watched the procession and waited patiently for his bride. Aria acted as the cutest little flower girl, laying a perfect river of flowers along the sand just moments before her mom made her grand debut. Wearing a princess-cut gown with delicate lace details and a show-stealing smile, Chastine is simply beautiful. When the big moment came, and Chastine and Jonathan were joined in marriage, the crowd erupted in cheers and celebration. The joy was tangible!

Chastine has two amazing kids (Alex – 7 and Aria – 5) and a fur pup named Schmidt. During their free time they enjoy hanging out as a family, cooking, watching movies, going for walks, and going to the park.

When asked how they met, Chastine shared the story: “We met on Match.com. I had been single for 3+ years… I think Jon had been single for that amount of time too. We had both come out of really difficult previous relationships. I was convinced I was done with relationships… Forever. 😂”
“After my last deployment one of my friends was doing my hair, and she told me to give online dating a try. I was pretty hesitant but fast forward a couple of years later I felt like I should give it a try because all I did was work and spend time with the kids–chances of me meeting someone in person were pretty slim. I was about to give up on online dating when I saw Jon’s profile. He looked like a genuinely nice person so I messaged him.”

“I had already deleted all my info and pictures from my Match.com profile so I didn’t even think he would respond. He did and I had to give him my social media info to “prove” I was real. A couple of days after we started chatting I was going on vacation with my kids to meet up with my family at Disney World and spend time with them in Washington state.”

“We were gone for about a month. I was convinced Jon wouldn’t “wait” for me to come back before we could go on a real date but he did. We both love Korean BBQ so that was our first date! We just clicked. He’s such a wonderful person. The fact that my kids warmed up to him right away was a great sign too. My son hardly opens up to people and he cuddled up with him right away. 🥰”

Congratulations, Chastine and Jonathan! It was a joy being your Oahu Destination Wedding coordinator. We wish you all the very best in the years ahead!

Kayela & Calvin’s Oahu Beach Wedding was filled with love everywhere you looked! Papa’iloa decorated for the special day with creamy lighting and emerald-algae rock embankments. With a handful of loved ones joining in the celebration, this wedding was nothing short of beautiful.

Overcome with gratefulness and joy, Calvin bowed his head as he took in the sight of Kayela crossing the sandy threshold arm-in-arm with her father. Wearing a lace gown and a cathedral-length veil tucked neatly into her princess-worthy up-do, it’s easy to see why Calvin was so overtaken! With a private musician strumming their first dance and their beloved boxer AKA “good dog” showing up for a quick photobomb, Oahu weddings don’t get much better than this!

Kayela works for the State of TN as a Social Worker in Child Welfare, and Calvin is a Logistics Coordinator for Trevecca Nazarene University and coaches soccer for a Private (all boys) high school. They don’t have any human kids at this time but hopefully in the future!
Kayela and Calvin crossed paths eight years ago while they were both attending the same college. But the timing wasn’t quite right yet. Kayela was pursuing her graduate degree and Calvin was focusing on his career. Fast forward to 2020 and the stars aligned! Once they found their way back to each other, it felt like they’d never parted. And the rest of their story is right here in this blog!

Samra and Chris chose to elope in Oahu after COVID made other options difficult, and it turns out, it wasn’t simply the safest option, it was the best option. Paradise Cove Beach set the stage, decorating for the ceremony with honey lighting and dazzling seascapes. Tropical palms, white sands, and a handful of loved ones put the final touches on a wedding day that dreams are made of.

Samra works in higher education, helping students with disabilities and chronic health conditions get accommodations for their courses, and Chris just recently finished a Ph.D. in Geology (specifically paleontology) and is looking for a professor position. Together they love to travel and adore all things Disney. It comes as no surprise that they both love reading and watching movies. Chris even owns over 1300 movies! They have one furbaby, a black cat named Preacher, who thinks he’s the king of the house.

Samra and Chris have such a sweet love story, that we felt it was best to let them tell it themselves. Be prepared for romance overload!

“On my 26th birthday, I went out to celebrate with some of my friends. One by one, the crowd began to thin, and eventually, the remaining crew ended up at the 90s bar in Athens, Georgia. As my friends and I people-watched and danced to one-too-many Whitney Houston songs, I noticed a cute guy wearing a Carolina hat. Intrigued by his Carolina drawl and his knowledge of every Nelly song in existence, I knew I had to strike up a conversation and some awkward dance moves. We spent the next three hours chatting away, and so I eagerly said yes when he asked if he could take me on a “real date” at Longhorn. We’ve been inseparable ever since.”

“I knew pretty early into dating Samra that I wanted to ask her to marry me. When Samra was invited to present at a student affairs conference in Los Angeles, she invited me to join her and suggested that we take a side trip afterward to Disneyland. Since we both love Disney, this seemed like the perfect place to propose. I asked Samra’s dad for her hand when I joined Samra and her family for the first part of the Christmas holidays. On our first night in Oxford, I gave Samra her Christmas present early and accidentally made her parents think that I was proposing right then without having asked them–it was a pair of earrings in a ring-sized box.”

“Samra’s parents gasped and I immediately had to exclaim, “It’s not what you think it is. Not yet, anyway.” Given that, I didn’t think that I would ever get a chance to ask Matt without Samra around, but thankfully, Samra and her mom decided to do some Christmas shopping and left us in the car. Honestly, I don’t remember much of what either of us said, because I was nervous and it was kind of a blur, but I do remember a yes somewhere in there. Three months later, on our final night in Disneyland, Samra and I had a romantic dinner at the Blue Bayou restaurant in Disneyland.”

“Nestled on the water with boats passing by, we enjoyed steak and lobster, and then Disney cast members brought a dessert that had “Will you marry me?” written on the plate in chocolate. It took Samra a few seconds to register what was happening, and when she looked up, she saw that I was on one knee. Afterward, the staff at Blue Bayou brought a bottle of sparkling juice and gave us front-row seats to the Fantasmic lights and fireworks show. Samra swears that’s the first and only time in her life that she’s been rendered speechless.”

Judging by these spectacular photos, we’re pretty sure it was Chris who was speechless on their wedding day. How gorgeous is this bride?!

Congratulations, Samra and Chris! It was a joy helping you elope in Oahu with your loved ones present. We wish you all the romance and Disney-magic in the years ahead!
And they lived happily every after.
