In 2016, Nicole and Ruobin first visited Hawaii! Although they were here for a Nursing Conference, they immediately fell in love with the island. This trip was when our charming duo decided to have an Oahu destination wedding! Their sunset occasion was full of personality and elegance — perfect for our passionate pair. Keep scrolling to see their special day for yourself.

Kualoa Secret Island was the location for Nicole and Ruobin’s wedding — this venue created a breathtaking scene! We adore this private spot because it’s tranquil, picturesque, and dreamy. Dramatic mountains, lush greenery, and cerulean water created an enchanting background! Then the heavy cloud coverage and soft blue sky enhanced the romantic and intimate ambiance. Above all, you can see how this occasion looks like a tropical fairytale in every shot!

Ever since Nicole and Ruobin first visited Oahu, they knew it’d be the perfect place to get married! We adore how this sunset occasion was bohemian, carefree, and fun. The shoreline has beautiful decorations! Standing at the front of the ceremony was a two-post wooden arch from O’ahu Wedding Altars. Then our bride and her bridesmaid’s bouquets are whimsical and elegant — they pair flawlessly with the flower arrangements on the archway!

Nicole and Ruobin’s story began when they first met at the movies. At the time, they attended different schools but had mutual friends. Ruobin asked Nicole to be his girlfriend after they watched Pearl Harbor on May 27, 2001. Then on New Year’s Day in 2021, Ruobin popped the question! Our groom had a plan with Nicole’s sister and friends for this significant moment. Unfortunately, Nicole hurt her back, so his proposal got derailed!

Congratulations, Nicole and Ruobin! Thank you for sharing your Oahu destination wedding with us! We wish you a future full of love, abundance, and happiness!

This romantic getaway was Kayla and John’s first time exploring Hawaii together! Although Kayla has been to the island before, John hadn’t. After learning this, we knew their Oahu elopement and vacation would be full of remarkable moments! Not to mention, the day they tied the knot was flawless. The weather was mystical, the beach was dreamy, and our delightful duo was full of bliss! Keep scrolling to experience this sunset affair for yourself.

Kayla and John arrived at the Kualoa Beach Park together. However, this didn’t stop our breathtaking bride from making a grand entrance! As Kayla glided down the lush lawn, Kahu Lawrence Kidder effortlessly played the ukulele. While Kayla walked down the shore, we made sure to look over at John. Our handsome groom had a vibrant smile on his face — we know he’ll savor this moment forever!

When Kayla was a child, her father was stationed in Hawaii! Our bride lived on the island for three years and attended Solomon Elementary from Kindergarten to Second Grade. Since Kayla enjoyed calling this destination home, she knew it would be the perfect place to get married! Now, she and John will explore and experience Oahu together. In addition, these exquisite portraits by Karma Hill Photography are a collection of memories! We know they’ll remind our passionate pair of their special day and remarkable adventures.

Kayla and John’s story began when they met in high school. However, they lost touch then but reconnected three years ago on social media! When the time was right, John proposed to Kayla on May 23, 2021. He popped the question at the exact location they had their first date! Then they tied the knot one year later, on May 23, 2022. The number twenty-three is Kayla’s favorite, so the day our radiant newlyweds got engaged and married is meaningful to them!
Currently, John is a Senior Software Engineer. Our charming pair works from home on their twenty-two-acre farm! They also are parents to two pit bull puppies, who they love dearly and wish they could’ve brought to their Oahu elopement!

Congratulations, Kayla and John! Thank you for sharing this intimate moment with us. We wish you a future full of quality time together and exciting renovations on your farmhouse!

Last week we got to meet Valeria & Joshua for their Oahu Beach Wedding, and it was such a great time! We didn’t see a lot of sunlight peeking from the overcast skies, but the sweet couple lit up the entire beach with their laughter and love.
Valeria’s sister walked her down the beach-style aisle, and Joshua was all smiles when he saw the stunning bride for the first time. Of course, Karma Hill Photography was there to capture every moment! Keep scrolling to check out some of their beautiful portraits!

This cute couple traveled to Oahu from Indiana, where Joshua is a police officer and Valeria is a surgical tech. They both are driven and detail-oriented, but they also both have a great sense of humor! They work hard each day and then come home to relax together. We can’t imagine a better way to live!
Not only did they marry on Hawaii’s beautiful shorelines, but they also got engaged on the shores of a lovely Florida lake. It makes sense that they are always drawn to the water — they’re calm souls who know how to go with the flow.

This was Valeria & Joshua’s first time visiting Oahu, and they fit right in here! We know they stay pretty busy back home in Indiana, but they had no problem unwinding during their Hawaii Vacation. And their guests were all happy and supportive too! Check out how their group’s color pallet perfectly matched the blue and gold hues at Waialae Beach!
After Rev. Kimo pronounced the two Husband & Wife, they had a first kiss, a romantic stroll on the beach, and then got some pictures with their stylish guests. It was a perfect ceremony, and we’re so glad we got to be a part of it!

We are obsessed with Valeria’s style – it’s the ultimate Oahu Beach Wedding Inspiration. Her off-shoulder gown was both beachy and formal with its lace detailing and classic cut. We love that she had her hair pulled back in a chic up-do. That way if we did have any rain or wind, her hair was ready to stay in place.
The Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet looked fantastic with her bridal look. It lent her dress a tropical touch and added a pop of color to the pastel setting.
Our favorite thing about Valeria’s look was her newlywed happiness! Valeria and Joshua bring out the best in one another, and they both looked incredible on their wedding day!

After their ceremony, Valeria & Joshua got in some alone time at the beach with their photographer. The sunset was subtle but simply beautiful. It was the perfect match for this calm couple.
As the setting sun cast a golden glow onto the beach, the newlyweds were all aglow too. Check out some of these portraits that Karma Hill Photography captured!

Congratulations, Valeria & Joshua! We wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Olivia and Gama have never been to Hawaii before. However, after seeing all the beautiful places on this island, they knew they should elope in Oahu! This ceremony is elegant, dreamy, and romantic. In addition, this sunset occasion was intimate — especially since Olivia and Gama only shared this experience with each other! Everything about this evening was flawless, so keep scrolling to fall in love with it!

Papa’iloa Beach was the perfect location for this elopement! When we started, the sun’s rays reflected off the cerulean water. The natural brilliance made this North Oahu spot feel enchanting. Then the picturesque landscapes enhanced the dreamy ambiance! Surrounding Olivia and Gama are striking lava rocks, ivory sand, and lush greenery. Above all, we like how clear the weather is. The sky looks like an exquisite painting in every shot!

Olivia and Gama fell in love with the variety of scenery this island has to offer. Then, they liked our organization and services at Simple Oahu Wedding. Since they’ve never been to Hawaii before, they wanted to find a team who’d make sure their day felt like a dream! Thankfully, they made the right choice and put their trust in us. Most importantly, we wouldn’t have changed anything about this memorable event. Olivia and Gama’s intimate elopement was simple, spiritual, and tranquil — ideal for them!

Our adventurous duo’s story began when they met in college and started dating long-distance for two years. When Gama’s family visited them in Illinois, they had a big bonfire with all their loved ones. During this event was when Gama popped the question to Olivia! Currently, Olivia and Gama have been together for five years. Not to mention, they recently purchased their first home!

Since they first started dating, Olivia and Gama have always wanted to visit the Aloha State. They’re also huge fans of Hawaii 5-O! When it was time for them to get married, they knew eloping in Oahu would be perfect for them!

Congratulations, Olivia and Gama! Thank you for letting us be part of your lovely wedding day. We wish you a future full of outdoor adventures with your pitbull, Izzy!

Cindy and Chao knew they wanted to spend their honeymoon in Hawaii! However, they couldn’t decide which island would be best for them to tie the knot. After researching, they chose to have an Oahu destination wedding! They liked how this place has stunning city vibes and breathtaking natural scenery. Above all, you’ll fall in love with how charming this sunset affair is, so keep scrolling to see it for yourself.

Wai’alae Beach Park was the location for this wedding, and this spot provided us with beautiful scenery. The lofty palm trees, beige sand, and vivid greenery created an enchanting backdrop. Then enhancing the dreamy ambiance was the sun’s soft glow as it set on the horizon!

Simple and relaxed are two words we’d use to describe this event! Chao and the seventeen guests were the first to arrive. Then, when she was ready, Cindy made her grand entrance! Once it was time to begin the ceremony, Kahu Dennis Chong-Imamura performed a heartwarming sermon. During his speech, Karma Hill Photography captured every look of adoration and monumental moment between our passionate pair!

Lastly, we adore how sophisticated and classic Cindy and Chao dressed. Cindy is a gorgeous bride! Her hair and makeup are glamorous, while her lace gown is chic. Then Chao’s khaki suit is beachy but traditional. Most importantly, his attire complements Cindy’s looks perfectly!

Cindy and Chao’s story began when they met at a concert through mutual mates. Our delightful duo bonded over food! One year into their friendship, they began dating. Then, on January 26, 2020, Chao proposed to Cindy in Key West, Florida. He rented a sailboat and popped the question while the sun was setting. Cindy says it was magical!

This adventurous duo is a pair of foodies! One of the reasons they decided to have an Oahu destination wedding was the variety of cuisine options. We hope you guys got a delicious taste of the island!

Congratulations, Cindy and Chao! Thank you for letting us be part of your tranquil wedding. We wish you a future full of delicious food and fun travels!

Ava and Dawson were born and raised in Hawaii. Once they’ve been dating for a while, the conversation about their future came up. The next thing they knew, they were planning their special day! Since this island is their home, they knew a venue wedding in Oahu would be the perfect way to tie the knot! Keep scrolling to experience this intimate event for yourself.

First to arrive was Dawson and the forty-nine wedding guests. While our groom took his place at the front, Ava rode the second boat to the venue. Then, it was time for the ceremony to begin! Our bride walked down the aisle with her daughter by her side. As she made her way to her groom, you could see him shedding tears of joy!

Ava and Dawson wanted their wedding to be beautiful, tranquil, and fun — their ceremony was perfect for them! Kualoa Secret Island is a private venue, so this event was intimate. Next, Henry Makua enhanced the peaceful ambiance by effortlessly playing his ukulele!

However, we adore how Karma Hill Photography captured every monumental moment. You can see our stunning couple exchange leis, rings, and vows. Most importantly, you can see Ava and Dawson taking their first kiss as newlyweds!

Kualoa Secret Island never fails to make you feel like you’re in a tropical fairytale! The lush palm trees, long sandy shore, and dramatic mountains create a breathtaking landscape for this Oahu venue wedding. Above all, the sunset at this location was gorgeous — decorating the sky are silky clouds and pastel hues.

Our charming couple met while Dawson was on his trash route in Waikiki. Ava says his cute smile and friendly personality made her want to give him her phone number. From there, the rest is history!

Laura and Tristan wanted to have a destination wedding but didn’t want to deal with the stress of planning it. Kualoa Secret Island was the location for this event, so everyone had to travel by boat to get to this venue. Tristan and the thirty-two guests were the first to reach this secluded spot. Upon arrival, our groom took his place at the front by the Officiant, Kahu Dennis Chong-Imamura. Not to mention, he looked sharp in his khaki suit and deep green maile lei!

Following them were Laura and her sisters on the second boat. Once they arrived, it was time for the ceremony to begin! First, the flowers girls walked down the aisle and covered it with petals. Next, our bride made her grand entrance with her father by her side! Laura is a breathtaking bride — her gown is ethereal and pairs flawlessly with her delicate flower crown and styling by Reveal Hair & Makeup!

Our charming couple exchanged rings on Kualoa Secret Island, and we couldn’t have chosen a better venue! Hale’iwa Ali’i Beach Park set the stage for this ceremony, and it was absolutely exquisite. This North Shore spot is full of breathtaking scenery! Surrounding our beautiful couple are foamy sapphire waves, towering palm trees, and lush greenery. There was heavy cloud coverage at first, but it quickly cleared up! You can see how the morning sun is vibrantly shining down on the park, naturally enhancing the lighting in every shot.

Simple, relaxed, and beachy are a few words we’d use to describe Emily and Kevin’s special day! Although our lovely couple arrived together, Emily still made a grand entrance. Not to mention, our bride and groom dressed elegantly for this morning affair. Kevin looks bold and sophisticated in his three-piece black suit. You can see how splendidly the dark hue complements his deep green maile lei. Then Emily is breathtaking in her airy and classic gown. We adore how she’s wearing a flower crown; the accessory perfectly matches her Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet from Sweet Blossoms Hawaii.

One of our favorite things was when Kahu Dennis Chong-Imamura pronounced this charming duo husband and wife. Emily and Kevin’s first kiss as a married couple was magical and passionate. Above all, we adore how effortlessly Karma Hill photography captured the romantic ambiance of this moment!

Our radiant newlyweds met while on a popular online dating app. Then last December, they got engaged at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado.
