Andrea and Neil, who love traveling, just began one of their greatest adventures! It was our privilege to capture and coordinate their Oahu beach wedding! A smaller private wedding was important to our happy couple so they could spend their special day with the people they love most. So it felt like the perfect fit when they stumbled across our company Simple Oahu Wedding! Destination weddings can be simple! Their big day was modern, fun, and, most of all, full of love!

Their beautiful wedding ceremony took place at Wai’alae Beach Park with their nearest and dearest, who brought the fun and bubbles to celebrate our happy pair! Andrea and Neil love all things outdoors, so they felt right at home in this beautiful setting…after all, Neil proposed to Andrea on a hiking trip in the Colorado Rockies! The island’s natural beauty was exactly the backdrop they wanted for their Oahu wedding…

Even though our happy couple decided on an Oahu beach wedding, they still included a traditional (yet fun!) bridal party! They all looked perfectly coordinated in their matching pinks and silvery blues. As you can see in these joyful photos, their friends and family were so happy for them both, ready to dance and begin the celebrations!

Our happy newlyweds are ready for their next chapter of life together! Martine and Allen’s Oahu elopement was a lovely and relaxed affair that reflected their zest for life and love! They met at a social meetup in 2019 and were engaged just two years later! Let’s see how their magical day unfolded…

This gorgeous setting is Papa’iloa Beach, known for its rugged, long stretch of sandy beach with coconut and palm trees along the shore…the views are breathtaking! And our newlyweds savored these magical moments in the tropical ambiance, as you can see!

There’s no better feeling than knowing you’re tying the know with your best friend in the perfect way! Sian and Matthew’s Oahu beach elopement was peaceful, intimate, and heartwarming. Sian and Matthew got to the shores together. However, they didn’t see one another before the ceremony! Once their vehicle arrived at the beach, Matthew got out first. Then, when she was ready, Sian made her way down the seaside! Above all, our favorite moment was when our groom turned around and saw his bride. You could see nothing but adoration and happiness on both of their faces!

The Intimate Oahu Beach Elopement

Next, it was time for the ceremony to begin! Kahu Dennis Chong-Imamura was the officiant for this event, and he delivered a meaningful sermon. Since NA Films was the videographer, they documented this sunset occasion effortlessly! Now, their friends and family can experience this magical elopement for themselves.

Sian and Matthew don’t like having a lot of attention. Thankfully, a secret Oahu beach elopement couldn’t have been more fitting for them! There were no guests in attendance, so this event was intimate and private. Above all, we adore the simplicity of this occasion! Our beautiful duo was able to savor this moment and focus on their love for one another.

Not to mention, Papailoa Beach created a romantic ambiance for this sunset occasion. The heavy cloud coverage and the soft glow from the sun enhanced the enchanting scene. Surrounding our charming couple are breathtaking landscapes! Striking lava rocks, ivory sand, and cerulean waves are decorating the background in every portrait!

Romantic, intimate, and peaceful are a few words we’d use to describe Jamie and James’ special day. Wai’alae Beach Park created the perfect tropical backdrop! Lofty palm trees, lush greenery, and cerulean waves decorated the background splendidly. Not to mention, the morning sun made every hue more brilliant!

The Enchanting Oahu Wedding

Jamie and James arrived at the beach and took their spots at the top of the shoreline together. Next, when it was time for the ceremony to begin, Kimo Taylor said heartwarming words. During his sermon, Karma Hill Photography effortlessly snapped every monumental moment — including the lei exchange and the first kiss!

Above all, we adore how they captured our charming couple’s affectionate expressions and blissful smiles! Not to mention, you can see how joyful they are when Kimo Taylor pronounces them husband and wife!

However, we love how beachy and classic Jamie and James dressed for their Oahu beach wedding! Jamie’s satin dress is simply elegant; her chic hair and makeup by Cheryl Brown complement her look flawlessly! Then her tropical elegance bouquet by Dellables is delicate and colorful. Lastly, James’ aloha shirt from Kahala is comfortable and fun! We like how the muted tones in his attire balance with the warm hues surrounding him.

Our Couple’s Story

In 2010, our beautiful couple separately came to the United States from Taiwan. They first met in the Lone Star State, Austin, Texas, in 2012. For seven years, their relationship was long distance. Jerry lived in Texas, while Joey was in Indiana for her Ph.D. then California for her postdoctoral studies. On August 4th, Joey’s birthday, Jerry proposed while they were in a forest in Big Bear, California! 

Currently, Joey has her Ph.D. in Learning Sciences and is working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California. Jerry is a Chemical Engineer in Houston, Texas. They have been together for nine years. After seven years, they finally moved to the same state and moved in together last month! The Oahu Beach Wedding

Stefany and David wanted a beautiful, quiet, and scenic wedding; that made Waimanalo Bay the perfect location for them. This East Oahu beach set a serene backdrop with its white sandy shores and clear ultramarine water. We love how the natural tones of the landscape complement the soft white hues of the bride and groom’s outfits!

Our Couple’s Story

David is originally from the Philadelphia area, and Stefany is from Long Island, New York. Seventeen years ago, David moved across the country to San Diego. Then ten years later, Stefany relocated to America’s Finest City as well. In 2015, the two met on a popular online dating site where sparks flew. On July 2, 2021, they got engaged at Ruth’s Chris Steak House! 

Now, they have an orange pet cat, Smoochy, who is their alpha and omega! To them, Smoochy represents all the good things in the world. We wish Smoochy was at your beach wedding in Oahu because we’re positive he would’ve been the cutest cat we’ve ever seen!

This sunset is magnificent because of the pastel rainbow painting the sky behind the silky clouds. Above all, one of our favorite things is how the muted colors enhance the striking scenery of the beach. Since the hues from the landscape are deep, they are more dramatic against the delicate sunset’s light shades.

It’s never easy to capture so many gorgeous elements but this photo, shot by Karma Hill Photography, does it effortlessly! They caught the love between our newlyweds and the beauty of Oahu exquisitely.

We all looked forward to Samantha & Arron’s Hawaii Destination Wedding for a long time. After postponing from spring 2020, the sweet couple was so patient as they waited for the right time to say “I Do.” The day finally came, and it was an absolute dream! Surrounded by a small group of loved ones, Samantha & Arron wed under swaying palm trees, just steps away from the ocean. Check out some of their photos!

Paradise Cove Luau: A Hawaii Destination Wedding Venue

When Samantha & Arron decided to have their wedding in Oahu, they needed the perfect location! We helped them select Paradise Cove Luau in Ko Olina. In the evening, this is home to a vibrant and exciting luau, but during the day we’re able to use the space for wedding ceremonies!

Their ocean-side lawn is close enough to the beach that the newlyweds could get great photos with their toes in the sand while still having the ceremony in a more quiet area. So they got the best of both worlds for their Hawaii Destination Wedding. The tropical green ceremony site was the perfect fit for the lovely and laid-back pair, and we love how their photos turned out!

A Growing Family

Samantha & Arron were work friends who fell in love! Arron proposed on Christmas Day, and then it was time to start planning a wedding. Both of them had been to Oahu before and love Hawaii, so a Hawaii destination wedding seemed like the perfect choice!

While we didn’t get to meet Samantha & Arron as soon as we hoped, we had even more to celebrate once the wedding day finally arrived! Their sweet son Kristof is cuter than ever, and he’s going to be a big brother soon! Samantha was a glowing hapai bride, and Arron is such a joyful dad. We can’t wait to see their family grow!

Picture-Perfect Memories

After the ceremony, it was time to get some portraits with the beautiful couple! Not only is it a chance to get some awesome pictures, but it’s also a chance for the newlyweds to slow down and and get some quiet time together before rejoining their guests.

Last week, Kara and Travis chose to elope in Oahu on the beautiful shore of Kualoa Beach. With only a few guests but plenty of love to go around, this was a simple yet elegant wedding filled with tropical beauty. 

Elope in Oahu

Kara and Travis chose to elope in Oahu because it was a “dream.” Neither of them had ever visited Hawaii, and who doesn’t want to say “I do” on our spectacular shores! Kara and Travis’ ceremony was broadcasted back home with our “Virtually There Package.” So although the guest count was small, Kara and Travis were able to share their beautiful elopement with friends and family back home. It was truly the best of both worlds! 

Our Couple’s Story

Kara and Travis met while they were young. Kara was best friends with Travis’ sister, but they didn’t see each other very often. Travis and Kara went their separate ways until one special day when Kara’s cousin mentioned that Travis worked with her. Kara said, “Give him my number” and was surprised when he called! They hit it off right away and knew they were meant to be!
