Joshua, a dedicated police officer, and Erin, an ED nurse, first crossed paths in a rather unconventional setting—the ER. During one memorable shift, Joshua arrested a suspect and brought him in for evaluation, treating Erin’s entire team to lunch and earning the playful moniker “deputy liar” for his generosity. This charming encounter led to a blossoming romance, culminating in a delightful Disneyland proposal two years later.

Originally, Erin and Joshua planned a grand November wedding. However, when a custody situation endangered their son, they pivoted priorities to family safety. Once resolved, they embraced a spontaneous, intimate wedding plan, choosing Hawaii—a dream destination for their son Cully’s 5th birthday, given his love for ocean life!

Their special day unfolded at Wai’alae Beach Park, where the sun shone brilliantly, framing their vows with nature’s elegance. The couple’s three children, Peyton, Cully, and Nyx, added joy and playfulness to the ceremony, making it a true family affair. We love how they wore matching light green outfits!
