In 2023, Nikisha flew to LA to spend Christmas and New Year’s with Jeffery and his family. In April 2024, it was Jeffery’s turn to fly to New Zealand, where they indulged in good food and spent quality time together. After a dinner with Nikisha’s best friend, they headed to a beachside spot at Mission Bay for a late-night stroll. In what felt like a perfect, everyday moment, Jeffery began to tell Nikisha how much she meant to him — a conversation they’d had many times before. But this time, there was something more. After a few heartfelt words, Jeffery told her he had a present for her, guiding her to close her eyes. As she did, his voice shifted from beside her to in front, and when she opened her eyes, there he was, down on one knee with a ring box glowing softly in the night! Fast forward to their incredible big day when they both said “I, Do!”
