Ever wondered what a dream elopement looks like? Look no further than Amanda and Kym’s Oahu’s elopement! Kym, a helicopter pilot, and Amanda, a primary school teacher, hail from Melbourne, Australia, but their love story spans from Adelaide to Queensland and all the way to the Northern Territory. With a shared love for reading, sports, and travel, they knew their wedding had to be as special as Kym’s unforgettable proposal on the River Seine in Paris, Amanda’s favorite bridge, and the Eiffel Tower in view. On Rex’s birthday, amidst the panoramic views of San Jose at The Grandview restaurant, a proposal was made—unexpectedly marking the beginning of their forever on a day traditionally reserved for birthday wishes.

As nurses, both Julros and Rex lead lives dedicated to care and compassion, balancing the stress and unpredictability of their jobs with their love for sunshine, water, nature, and, of course, each other. Their laid-back nature, a necessity borne out of their profession, perfectly encapsulated the essence of their Oahu elopement—simple, fun, and utterly them! Surrounded by the dramatic mountains of Oahu, Julros, and Rex exchanged vows on the lush lawn at Kualoa Beach Park. Their happiness radiates as palpably as the warmth around them. In a picturesque beach setting on the beautiful island of Oahu, Demi, a successful businessman in the paper manufacturing industry, and Cielle, who manages an agency catering contractual employees to Demi’s company, gathered with their children and joint families to celebrate their vows of eternal love at their Oahu beach wedding. Their journey together has been nothing short of remarkable.

Demi and Cielle’s love story began back in 1994, a chance encounter that unfortunately led to lost communication. But fate had other plans for them, as two years later, Demi reached out to Cielle, reigniting the flame of their friendship. Love knows no bounds, and for Sara and James, their journey and Oahu elopement is a testament to that! In a world where working from home has become the norm, they found solace in each other’s company. With their shared love for video games, books, and all things nerdy (in their own words!), their connection grew stronger by the day. And when sparks flew on a dating app, destiny had something extraordinary in store for them.

Their first date was nothing short of magical. Nerdvana, a coffee shop that truly lived up to its name, witnessed the birth of their love story. They talked for hours, engrossed in each other’s stories and passions. From that moment on, it was clear that they were meant to be together!

Fast forward to last year, during a vacation to Disneyland. It was there, amidst the enchantment and joy, that James seized the perfect opportunity to pop the question. It was a sweet moment that filled their hearts with even more love and excitement. They knew then that an intimate celebration of their vows was calling them in Hawaii…

Hawaii Called Us

Originally planning to get married in Maui, the wildfires led them to change their plans and embrace the neighboring island of Oahu. Our coordinators made the transition seamless and easy for our happy pair. And what a breathtaking decision it turned out to be! As they stood on the serene Waialae Beach, the sun casting its golden hues upon them, Sara and James radiated pure happiness.

Love knows no age limit, and for Jody and Steven, their journey of love began in their 60s. Both retired Air Traffic Controllers with grown children from previous marriages had experienced life’s ups and downs before finding each other. Their common interests in saltwater fishing and travel brought them closer.

The magic of Christmas 2022 brought an extra special gift for Jody when Steven asked her to marry him.
