A Day Just For Us

With Hawaii calling their names and not returning in a long time, the decision to elope on the pristine shores of Waialae Beach seemed like the best idea ever! The prospect of exchanging vows under swaying palm trees, with the turquoise ocean as their witness, felt like stepping into a dream.

Dressed in a dashing tuxedo and a stunning lace gown, Jake and Christina radiated joy and anticipation. They stood before each other at the water’s edge, ready to embark on this new chapter of their lives. With heartfelt promises and tender words, their vows echoed in the salty breeze, leaving tears of joy in their wake.

A Beautiful Day

As husband and wife, they took their first steps down the sandy aisle, the golden sunshine casting a warm glow upon them. Their Oahu elopement was a sight to behold, the ocean waves crashing in the background as they walked hand in hand, surrounded by the love and beauty of Hawaii.

In a picturesque beach setting on the beautiful island of Oahu, Demi, a successful businessman in the paper manufacturing industry, and Cielle, who manages an agency catering contractual employees to Demi’s company, gathered with their children and joint families to celebrate their vows of eternal love at their Oahu beach wedding. Their journey together has been nothing short of remarkable.

Demi and Cielle’s love story began back in 1994, a chance encounter that unfortunately led to lost communication. But fate had other plans for them, as two years later, Demi reached out to Cielle, reigniting the flame of their friendship. Little did they know that this would mark the beginning of their courtship.

Navigating the challenges of having a big and extended family is no easy feat, but Demi and Cielle are grateful that they have handled it with grace and love. Together, they have embarked on countless adventures, exploring both domestic and international destinations with their loved ones by their side. Their Oahu beach wedding, however, was shrouded in secrecy to their kids. A surprise for their children and family; everyone believed they were attending their niece’s wedding on October 23rd, with a celebration for the newlyweds following on October 24th. Unbeknownst to them, this joyous occasion would also be Demi and Cielle’s wedding day!

Waialae Beach provided the perfect backdrop for their intimate and heartfelt ceremony. Love knows no bounds, and for Sara and James, their journey and Oahu elopement is a testament to that! In a world where working from home has become the norm, they found solace in each other’s company. With their shared love for video games, books, and all things nerdy (in their own words!), their connection grew stronger by the day. And when sparks flew on a dating app, destiny had something extraordinary in store for them.

Their first date was nothing short of magical. Nerdvana, a coffee shop that truly lived up to its name, witnessed the birth of their love story. They talked for hours, engrossed in each other’s stories and passions. From that moment on, it was clear that they were meant to be together!

Fast forward to last year, during a vacation to Disneyland. It was there, amidst the enchantment and joy, that James seized the perfect opportunity to pop the question. It was a sweet moment that filled their hearts with even more love and excitement. They knew then that an intimate celebration of their vows was calling them in Hawaii…

Hawaii Called Us

Originally planning to get married in Maui, the wildfires led them to change their plans and embrace the neighboring island of Oahu. Our coordinators made the transition seamless and easy for our happy pair. And what a breathtaking decision it turned out to be! As they stood on the serene Waialae Beach, the sun casting its golden hues upon them, Sara and James radiated pure happiness.

Their Oahu elopement was casual, relaxed, and everything they had dreamt of. With just the two of them, hand in hand, they exchanged their heartfelt vows. Their love shone brightly against the picturesque backdrop of Oahu’s beauty. It was a romantic and intimate celebration, perfectly tailored to their unique bond.

Love knows no age limit, and for Jody and Steven, their journey of love began in their 60s. Both retired Air Traffic Controllers with grown children from previous marriages had experienced life’s ups and downs before finding each other. Their common interests in saltwater fishing and travel brought them closer.

The magic of Christmas 2022 brought an extra special gift for Jody when Steven asked her to marry him. It was a moment filled with joy and excitement, knowing they were about to embark on a new chapter of their lives together. And what better place to celebrate their Oahu elopement than the stunning Paradise Cove Beach in Oahu? Tyler and Every’s Oahu elopement was the pinnacle of their love story! It was a lighthearted and romantic affair. They decided to break away from tradition and embrace something less conventional – getting married while doing something they truly love: traveling. This romantic escape was a dream come true for both of them, creating a minimalist, tropical, relaxed, yet intimate elopement experience!

Hailing from the Midwest, Tyler and Every’s journey to the sandy altar began when they got engaged during a visit to Redwoods National Park. The idea of exchanging vows in the picturesque paradise of Oahu felt totally surreal and filled with whimsy. And boy, did it live up to their wildest dreams! Love has a way of surprising us when we least expect it, and Mamie and Tom’s Oahu elopement is a perfect testament to that. Mamie, a fitness enthusiast and LA-based Pilates instructor, and Tom, a writer for DC Comics and animated TV shows, found each other through the twists and turns of fate.

Their love story began two years ago when they met on a dating app. Little did they know that their first date would be an unforgettable one. Mamie’s mischievous dog decided to leave a lasting impression by playfully giving Tom a little nip – a “love at first bite” encounter. Mamie worried that this unexpected incident might scare Tom away, but to her delight, he came back for more, proving that their connection was unbreakable!

Fast forward to their engagement, where Tom placed the ring on the Christmas tree, initially claiming it to be a “promise to get married” ring due to some cold feet from a previous marriage. But he quickly confessed that it was indeed an engagement ring!! Mamie couldn’t help but fall in love with the ring even more when she learned that Tom’s uncle, a jeweler, had expertly cut the diamond into the shape of a heart – a symbol that holds extra special meaning for her as she was born on Valentine’s Day! It was a fantastic day for BriYona and Richard’s Oahu elopement! These two lovebirds met in 2019 in Basic Leaders Course at Fort Sill, Ok. They both serve in the army – she is stationed on the island, and Richard will soon reside in Oahu after leaving the Philippines. BriYona was the quiet person in the class, and Richard was the more outgoing one. Our sweet couple wanted a relaxed and carefree atmosphere for their special day, and their intimate beach ceremony was exactly that. As Oahu locals, Keith and Kathryn knew exactly what they wanted for their special day on the island they call home…

Island In Our Hearts

Our sweet couple, who know the island inside and out, chose Papa’iloa Beach for their Oahu elopement. It’s truly a North Shore gem with its long stretch of sand and weathered rocks showcasing the rugged beauty of the island. The intimate ceremony was held right by the lapping waves… It was such a dreamy setting for their sacred vow exchange, don’t you think? It was simple, elegant, and, most of all, focused on their love story! Keith actually proposed to Kat on a sunset sail in Waikiki, so it was only fitting for them to tie the knot on another stunning piece of paradise they call home!

As they stood together by the shoreline, Keith and Kathryn looked incredibly happy and so in love. The overcast skies made no difference to the love and joy of their big day. This was their day, and they were enjoying every moment of it! Even Keith’s daughter Harlee, who is four years old and lives with the happy couple, was beaming with joy!

Our happy couple’s wedding attire was perfectly simple yet beachy and minimalistic, with Keith donning a classic white shirt and Kathryn wearing an elegant flowy dress that matched the laid-back vibe of their Oahu elopement. These two had no qualms about walking over the rocks to take advantage of the epic views and scenery for their newlywed portraits! One thing we know for sure is Oahu had a hand in their romance, and these moments capture it all!
