This romantic getaway was Kayla and John’s first time exploring Hawaii together! Although Kayla has been to the island before, John hadn’t. After learning this, we knew their Oahu elopement and vacation would be full of remarkable moments! Not to mention, the day they tied the knot was flawless. Kayla and John arrived at the Kualoa Beach Park together. However, this didn’t stop our breathtaking bride from making a grand entrance! As Kayla glided down the lush lawn, Kahu Lawrence Kidder effortlessly played the ukulele. While Kayla walked down the shore, we made sure to look over at John. Our handsome groom had a vibrant smile on his face — we know he’ll savor this moment forever!

The Serene Oahu Elopement

When Kayla was a child, her father was stationed in Hawaii! Our bride lived on the island for three years and attended Solomon Elementary from Kindergarten to Second Grade. Since Kayla enjoyed calling this destination home, she knew it would be the perfect place to get married! Now, she and John will explore and experience Oahu together. In addition, these exquisite portraits by Karma Hill Photography are a collection of memories! We know they’ll remind our passionate pair of their special day and remarkable adventures.

Our Couple’s Story

Kayla and John’s story began when they met in high school. However, they lost touch then but reconnected three years ago on social media! When the time was right, John proposed to Kayla on May 23, 2021. He popped the question at the exact location they had their first date! Then they tied the knot one year later, on May 23, 2022. The number twenty-three is Kayla’s favorite, so the day our radiant newlyweds got engaged and married is meaningful to them!

Currently, John is a Senior Software Engineer. Our charming pair works from home on their twenty-two-acre farm! They also are parents to two pit bull puppies, who they love dearly and wish they could’ve brought to their Oahu elopement!

Why We Love Their Oahu Elopement

This getaway was Kaya and Bradley’s first time in Hawaii. They made this vacation unforgettable by commemorating their love on the island! Our Couple’s Story

Kaya and Bradley first met one another while attending school. Currently, this passionate pair has been together for thirteen years! In 2019, Bradley found the perfect time to propose on a rooftop bar in Bangkok, Thailand! After getting engaged in such a captivating destination, we can’t imagine a better way to get married. Most of all, Kaya and Bradley’s Oahu elopement was just as magical as the moment Bradley popped the question!

Olivia and Gama have never been to Hawaii before. However, after seeing all the beautiful places on this island, they knew they should elope in Oahu! This ceremony is elegant, dreamy, and romantic. In addition, this sunset occasion was intimate — especially since Olivia and Gama only shared this experience with each other! Papa’iloa Beach was the perfect location for this elopement! When we started, the sun’s rays reflected off the cerulean water. The natural brilliance made this North Oahu spot feel enchanting. Then the picturesque landscapes enhanced the dreamy ambiance! Surrounding Olivia and Gama are striking lava rocks, ivory sand, and lush greenery. Above all, we like how clear the weather is. Why They Eloped in Oahu

Olivia and Gama fell in love with the variety of scenery this island has to offer. Then, they liked our organization and services at Simple Oahu Wedding. Since they’ve never been to Hawaii before, they wanted to find a team who’d make sure their day felt like a dream! Thankfully, they made the right choice and put their trust in us. Most importantly, we wouldn’t have changed anything about this memorable event. Olivia and Gama’s intimate elopement was simple, spiritual, and tranquil — ideal for them! 

Our Couple’s Story

Our adventurous duo’s story began when they met in college and started dating long-distance for two years. When Gama’s family visited them in Illinois, they had a big bonfire with all their loved ones. During this event was when Gama popped the question to Olivia! Currently, Olivia and Gama have been together for five years. Not to mention, they recently purchased their first home! 

Since they first started dating, Olivia and Gama have always wanted to visit the Aloha State. They’re also huge fans of Hawaii 5-O! When it was time for them to get married, they knew eloping in Oahu would be perfect for them!

There’s no better feeling than knowing you’re tying the know with your best friend in the perfect way! Sian and Matthew’s Oahu beach elopement was peaceful, intimate, and heartwarming. Sian and Matthew got to the shores together. However, they didn’t see one another before the ceremony! Once their vehicle arrived at the beach, Matthew got out first. Next, it was time for the ceremony to begin! Kahu Dennis Chong-Imamura was the officiant for this event, and he delivered a meaningful sermon. Since NA Films was the videographer, they documented this sunset occasion effortlessly! Now, their friends and family can experience this magical elopement for themselves.

Sian and Matthew don’t like having a lot of attention. Thankfully, a secret Oahu beach elopement couldn’t have been more fitting for them! There were no guests in attendance, so this event was intimate and private. Above all, we adore the simplicity of this occasion! Our beautiful duo was able to savor this moment and focus on their love for one another.

Not to mention, Papailoa Beach created a romantic ambiance for this sunset occasion. The heavy cloud coverage and the soft glow from the sun enhanced the enchanting scene. Duan and Ross wanted an intimate, fun, and romantic wedding. And Kualoa Regional Beach was the perfect spot for this occasion. Our lovely couple had an Oahu destination wedding because they wanted to surprise their friends and family. Instead of having a grand wedding, the idea of having a small private ceremony enticed them. Duan and Ross eloped with no one but themselves and the breathtaking Hawaiian scenery surrounding them. Our Couple’s Story

Ross and Duan’s story began when they met through a mutual friend while attending the University of California, Riverside. During their academic years, they became good friends and stayed in touch post-graduation. One day, Ross asked Duan on a date to the Getty Museum in Los Angeles. From there, their friendship blossomed into something more serious!

Our beautiful couple got engaged while taking a trip to Seattle, Washington. Ross popped the magic question to Duan at the Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum! Currently, they have been together for eight delightful years. They’re excited to start this new chapter in their lives: married life! Above all, we’re happy they started this next phase in their relationship with an Oahu destination wedding!

The Oahu Beach Wedding

Our beautiful couple tied the knot on the pearly shores of Kualoa! When planning their wedding, they wanted something fun, relaxed, and intimate. They chose the perfect location! Although this beach can get busy, it’s very spacious. We were able to find a secluded corner on the shoreline for their ceremony!

Our Couple’s Story

Amber and Perry’s story started when they met in August 2016 on a popular online dating site. Upon meeting, the sparks flew — they knew it was meant to be! In 2019, they traveled to New Zealand, and Perry created the perfect proposal. He popped the magic question on Great Barrier Island with a custom ring they designed together. The moment we learned this, it was no surprise they had an Oahu beach wedding!

Currently, they have been together for five years and have a rescue dog named Mika! Perry is an Automotive Engineer, while Amber works for a local nonprofit. In their spare time, you can find them hiking, traveling, trying new restaurants, and doing home improvement projects. Most importantly, they always find time to be silly with one another!

You get to experience all of the island’s natural beauty at this Eastside spot! On one side you have the striking mountains, and the ultramarine ocean is on the other side. Our Couple’s Story

In 2010, our beautiful couple separately came to the United States from Taiwan. They first met in the Lone Star State, Austin, Texas, in 2012. For seven years, their relationship was long distance. Jerry lived in Texas, while Joey was in Indiana for her Ph.D. then California for her postdoctoral studies. On August 4th, Joey’s birthday, Jerry proposed while they were in a forest in Big Bear, California! 

Currently, Joey has her Ph.D. in Learning Sciences and is working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California. Jerry is a Chemical Engineer in Houston, Texas. They have been together for nine years. After seven years, they finally moved to the same state and moved in together last month! Our Couple’s Story

Kailey and James met when they were freshmen in college. They have been inseparable ever since the first day of the semester! In 2016, James asked Kailey to marry him. She said yes, but also no because they weren’t quite ready yet. Our lovely couple circled back to the question after they finished college and started their careers. Then in 2020, they publicly got engaged!

This occasion was our gorgeous couple’s first time in Hawaii! They were most excited to make this visit more remarkable with their wedding and honeymoon.

Since Kailey and James are an adventurous duo, eloping in Oahu was right up their alley! Most importantly, we’re glad we were able to be part of their delightful wedding day!
