Love has a way of surprising us when we least expect it, and Mamie and Tom’s Oahu elopement is a perfect testament to that. Mamie, a fitness enthusiast and LA-based Pilates instructor, and Tom, a writer for DC Comics and animated TV shows, found each other through the twists and turns of fate.

Their love story began two years ago when they met on a dating app. Little did they know that their first date would be an unforgettable one. Mamie’s mischievous dog decided to leave a lasting impression by playfully giving Tom a little nip – a “love at first bite” encounter. Mamie worried that this unexpected incident might scare Tom away, but to her delight, he came back for more, proving that their connection was unbreakable!

Fast forward to their engagement, where Tom placed the ring on the Christmas tree, initially claiming it to be a “promise to get married” ring due to some cold feet from a previous marriage. But he quickly confessed that it was indeed an engagement ring!! Mamie couldn’t help but fall in love with the ring even more when she learned that Tom’s uncle, a jeweler, had expertly cut the diamond into the shape of a heart – a symbol that holds extra special meaning for her as she was born on Valentine’s Day! Our lovely pair, Colleen and Christopher, exchanged their vows at Paradise Cove, nestled on a grassy lawn overlooking the majestic ocean. It was like something out of a fairytale! The setting was absolutely beautiful, with the tropical scenery adding an extra touch of magic to their special day. The vibrant colors, swaying palm trees, and gentle ocean breeze created an ambiance that was pure paradise. They were surrounded by the beauty of nature, and it made their hearts sing!

Speaking of beauty, let’s take a moment to appreciate just how stunning Colleen and Christopher looked on their big day. Picture-perfect would be an understatement! Colleen looks like a vision in white with her veil fluttering in the wind. And Christopher looks just as sharp! As they exchanged their leis and vows, their love was tangible. Their smiles lit up the entire oceanside venue, and you couldn’t help but feel overjoyed for them. It was a fantastic day for BriYona and Richard’s Oahu elopement! These two lovebirds met in 2019 in Basic Leaders Course at Fort Sill, Ok. They both serve in the army – she is stationed on the island, and Richard will soon reside in Oahu after leaving the Philippines. BriYona was the quiet person in the class, and Richard was the more outgoing one. When our lovely couple Hailey and Ian got engaged at the DuPont National Forest, where they had their first date (so sweet), they envisioned their special day somewhere tropical where they could start their newlywed lives in paradise! Ian wanted a tropical honeymoon, and Hailey wanted an exciting new place to explore together and start their married life. Thankfully, they stumbled across our company, and their dream of an Oahu destination wedding and tropical honeymoon came to life! And what a gorgeous day it was for their ” I, dos!”

Hailey made a gorgeous entrance on the sandy aisle at Kualoa Ranch Secret Island with a vibrant tropical bouquet, highlighting the natural beauty of the island! The sun was bright, and their guests and family were so happy to have made the journey for their Oahu destination wedding! The love and joy were palpable throughout their entire day in paradise… The tropical ambiance created a magical and surreal feel. Palm trees and turquoise waters add that little extra something something to a simple and elegant beach wedding. It was an honor to bring all the elements together for our happy couples’ dream celebration!

Their Oahu elopement was a beautiful celebration of their love and just for them. “She’s all that I need; I love my future wife,” Dave told our wedding coordinators! In the early days of their relationship, while Dave always valued marriage, although Emmanuelle wasn’t always so sure, but he proposed, and she said yes! That’s when you know you’ve met the one!

The entire day was simple, elegant, relaxed, intimate, and original, with a touch of Hawaiian culture, making it a perfect reflection of who they are. Kualoa Beach was dreamy with its calm shores and salty breeze. The two of them radiated with joy and happiness as they exchanged their vows! Even though they have a blended family, this was their moment…a new beginning as husband and wife!

One of the things our newlyweds adore about Hawaii is the tropical scenery and natural splendor! This moment felt like just the two of them in paradise with love all around.
