And after meeting a year and a half ago while at the gym, this couple was more than ready to get married! Lainie and Eric are both gym buffs and she is actually a bodybuilder! How amazing is that?! With a stunning setting and loved ones surrounding them, Alicia and Jerrol were more than ready to celebrate their love at this Oahu Venue Wedding. Since our groom is from Hawaii, some of their guests were local while the rest came over from the mainland. It’s easy to see that this couple has lots of support!

As our bride stepped off the boat with her father and made her entrance onto this private beach in a gorgeous mermaid gown, the smile on her face said it all. It’s easy to see that this truly was one of the happiest days of her life! Just as it should be and we are so honored we were able to be part of it. It’s a day we will never forget, and we are confident neither will this couple or their wedding guests!

After taking the most beautiful wedding portraits with our sister company, Karma Hill Photography, our newlyweds were ready to celebrate with dinner at Roy’s. One of the most amazing options about having an Oahu Destination Wedding is the option to say “I do” at a Secret Island location! Ashton and Joel made their way to this majestic setting by way of canoe, but not just any canoe, check out how amazing this large double hull wood canoe is! As they approached this world-renowned nature preserve this bride and groom and their wedding guests were in complete awe by the lush greenery and dramatic mountainside. You might recognize this epic terrain from the big screen, as many movies have been filmed here including Jurassic Park. We can’t think of a cooler location to get married!

Ashton and Joel were so darling together as they experienced an intimate ceremony with their closest family and friends. We especially love that Ashton’s father and mother joined her on a second boat so they could escort her onto the sandy beach, for a meaningful and memorable experience. With this being the first moment Joel saw his bride on their wedding day, he was filled with excitement and gratitude to be marrying the love of his life! An Oahu beach wedding is a great option for those who want the ultimate in simplicity. The downside to beach weddings is that because they are on public beaches we have to follow strict permitting rules enforced by the state. For couples that have more than 30 guests, want their guests to be seated during the ceremony, or a desire to have more decoration such as a wedding arch, a venue wedding ceremony is a great option!

Venue 1: Secret Island at Kualoa Ranch
About This Venue: Kualoa Ranch is a world-renowned privately owned nature preserve that boasts views of both lush green mountains and sparkling aqua water. Many movies have been filmed at Kualoa Ranch, but the most well known is probably Jurassic park! The ranch has many wedding venues but the one we love the most is their “Secret Island” location. You and your guests will be transported over a calm ancient fish pond on a large double hull wood canoe, setting the stage for your amazing ceremony! Once on the island, you will stroll through a lush tropical forest to get to the private beach where your ceremony will be held. The photo opportunities at this property are endless and you will have the most amazing photo team there to capture it for you!

Venue 2: Paradise Cove Luau
About This Venue: We created a Paradise Cove Luau wedding package because we LOVE the options this venue offers! It has the option to have a ceremony on the grass with stunning ocean views or a sand in the toes beach ceremony that can seat up to 50 guests. A luau is also a great option for a fun and low-stress wedding reception dinner! You can purchase tables in the box seating area which includes table service and a fabulous view of the show. You get your food and entertainment in one easy package! The Luau is also in the Ko’olina resort that boasts some of the best resorts and weather on the island. Just think, you could stay at the nearby Four Seasons, or Disney’s Aulani, have breakfast with Moana in the morning and enjoy your wedding and Luau at night!

Venue 3: Royal Hawaiian Golf Club
About This Venue: The ceremony location at the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club is breathtaking! Lush green mountains surround you and trees so large they look like they came from prehistoric times are in the distance. We love this Oahu wedding venue because it shows off a different side of Hawaii and the amazing mountains that the island of Oahu is known for. The package includes a golf cart ride for the couple to take advantage of the amazing scenery which includes a jungle with a beautiful pond, an old bridge and a gorgeous fairway with a huge water feature and fountains. For those who still want the beach in their photos, adding on photo time to this package and heading to nearby Waimanalo beach is a great option! You will have the best of Hawaii all in one day and captured perfectly by our photo team.
