Last week, we had the pleasure of helping two locals tie the knot! Hawaii has a special place in Kalei and Chris’ hearts because they grew up here. Since this island is their home, they knew an Oahu wedding would be the perfect way to tie the knot! We can’t imagine this beautiful couple getting married any other way. Kalei and Chris’ wedding was simple, relaxing, and intimate! Our delightful couple and their eight guests arrived at the shores of Wai’alae Beach Park together. Before anything started, our stunning bride and handsome groom had their first looks. It was as if Kalei and Chris were the only two on the beach — it was so magical! Then Reverend Kimo Taylor began his heartwarming sermon. During the ceremony, Karma Hill Photography captured so many romantic shots! In every photo, you can see their looks of adoration and blissful glow.

The Breathtaking Oahu Wedding

Setting the scene for this event was Wai’alae Beach Park in Honolulu! Although this spot can be busy, we found a secluded area along the shore for the wedding. The lofty palm trees, beige sand, and foamy cerulean waves created an enchanting backdrop. You can see how impeccable the weather was as well. There was light cloud coverage in the sky, so the sunset was radiant! As the sun continued to set, a spectrum of pastel hues dreamily painted the sky.

Our Couple’s Story

Kalei and Chris are an adventurous duo — it was no surprise they had an Oahu wedding on the beach! They got engaged at the top of Yosemite Falls after an eight-hour hike. This moment was extraordinary for them because they visited this spot when they started dating. It was almost as if everything had come full circle! Currently, Chris is a Graphic Installer, while Kalei works for Hawaii’s Department of Education. You can find this lovely couple lounging on the beach in their spare time!

Carrie and Teddy were full of nothing but pure bliss on the days leading up to their beach wedding in Oahu. The Simple Oahu Wedding team made planning stress-free for our charming couple. Teddy and the twenty wedding guests arrived at the beach before the ceremony. When the procession started, the ring bearer and two flower girls walked down first. Then Carrie glided down the sandy shore and made a grand entrance! Kahu Dennis Chong-Imamura was the officiant and performed a heartfelt sermon. After our charming couple became husband and wife, they went to the Paradise Cove Luau with their loved ones!

The Scenic Beach Wedding in Oahu

Paradise Cove Beach was the location for this magical ceremony. In the photos captured by Karma Hill Photography, you can see how perfect the weather was! Velvety clouds were covering the blue sky, but it didn’t dim the sun’s radiance! You can see how golden hour left a warm glow on the pearly shores and created an enchanting ambiance. Surrounding our couple was calm cerulean waves, dramatic lava rocks, and lofty palm trees. This breathtaking scenery made every portrait of our passionate newlyweds so romantic!

Our groom looked classic in his dark vanilla suit; it was bold and sophisticated. We like how beautifully the beige tones of his suit balance with the natural hues surrounding him! Carrie made a gorgeous bride! Her ivory gown is elegant, and paired gracefully with her simply classic hair and makeup! Lauren and Jordan wanted to get married before the end of the year. Initially, our cute couple was planning to tie the knot at their local city hall. Then they realized they already had a trip to Hawaii on the books. It was the perfect opportunity for them to have an Oahu destination wedding and invite their families! Why We Love Their Oahu Destination Wedding

Besides the breathtaking location, we adore this wedding because of how beachy and intimate it is! Kahu Kawena Mechler officiated a flawless ceremony, and eight of our cute couple’s family members were in attendance. Also, we like how stunning our newlyweds look! Lauren’s appearance is elegant — her tulle gown is ethereal and hair is boho! While Jordan’s attire is sharp, you can see how classic his black suit is. Our bride’s Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet and groom’s delicate boutonniere tie their outfits together and make them look more tropical!

Our Couple’s Story

Jordan and Lauren are opposites! This lovely couple connected over their similar senses of humor, shared values, and support for one another! Jordan enjoys mountain biking or working out. While Lauren likes to cook and relax at home in her spare time. Together, you can find them laughing or making up songs and nicknames for each other! Although they’re different, they make a strong team and value their partnership!

Currently, Jordan works for Microsoft. And Lauren does the layout for the Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce. During summer, they enjoy playing badminton and paddle boarding. In the winter, they cozy up, eat a home-cooked meal, and watch classic films! Most importantly, we’re glad they spent autumn having a destination wedding in Oahu!

Edward arrived on the lush greenery of Kualoa Beach Park first with their six guests. When the time was right, Tabitha glided down the grass with her father by her side! Tabitha was gorgeous in her airy wedding gown; it flowed beautifully with every step she took. Our favorite thing about Tabitha and Edward’s wedding is the simplicity of it! This charming couple had a flawless ceremony performed by Kahu Kelehua Kawai with their closest family around them. It was intimate, romantic, and sensational! You can see how Edward’s steel blue suit complements the softness of Tabitha’s chic gown. The delicate colors in the Boho Dream Bouquet elegantly balance with the warm tones around them. Above all, we like how our happy couple did their vows privately. It was personal and heartwarming!

Although there was a lot of cloud coverage during their Oahu beach wedding, Kualoa Beach Park provided striking backdrops. We adore how dreamy the sky is in this portrait! You can see the clouds gently glowing as the sunset disappears beyond the horizon. It feels as if our newlyweds are in their own fairytale world. Elizabeth and Christopher had their ceremony at Kualoa Ranch Secret Island. When you get transported to this spot, you’ll feel as if you’ve entered a fairytale! With the epic mountains, deep greenery, and the teal ocean — you’ll always see a new breathtaking view! Most importantly, we love how private this location is. It was perfect for our charming couple’s intimate ceremony!

Our Couple’s Story

Our beautiful couple’s story began when they met in high school; Elizabeth was a freshman while Christopher was a sophomore. Although they grew up in bordering small towns, they went to the same high school. On November 22, 2010, they began dating; and have been inseparable ever since!

In 2018, they got engaged on a cruise to the Caribbean. Christopher had the ring in his pocket, but it accidentally fell out. This mishap caused him to do an impromptu proposal. He saved the day by getting down onto one knee and popping the magic question on a whim! To this day, Elizabeth thinks it’s a funny story!

This Oahu destination wedding was our adventurous couple’s first time in Hawaii! They have always wanted to visit because of the riveting culture, dreamy scenery, and peaceful energy. Above all, they got to explore a new place as newlyweds!

Our lovely couple wanted a relaxing, intimate, and romantic wedding. The Royal Hawaiian Golf Club is private, scenic, and lush — perfect for Marra and Dylan’s special day! In the photos captured by Karma Hill Photography, you can see the lavish rainforest and sensational mountains surrounding the ceremony. We love how the vivid greenery and foggy sky create a dream-like scene. Most importantly, every shot looks as if it’s a fairytale!

This adventurous couple has moved to multiple states and cities. Right now, they call Las Vegas, Nevada home! When we learned this, we knew an Oahu venue wedding was perfect for them!

Our Couple’s Story

Marra and Dylan’s story began when they met thirteen years ago in middle school. At first, they actually disliked each other quite a bit. After a while of getting to know each other, they ended up becoming inseparable best friends! Although they didn’t end up dating until after high school, it didn’t take long for them to know they found the one! Our beautiful couple moved in together right away and have been in a relationship ever since.

Currently, they have three fur babies named Jude, Lucy, and Harley, and a feathered baby named Pistachio. Marra is a veterinary technician, while Dylan is a business sales support specialist. You can find them exploring, finding new bars or restaurants, and watching Netflix.

This occasion was our gorgeous couple’s first time in Hawaii! They were most excited to make this visit more remarkable with their wedding and honeymoon.

Since Kailey and James are an adventurous duo, eloping in Oahu was right up their alley! Most importantly, we’re glad we were able to be part of their delightful wedding day!

Currently, they moved to a new city and just recently finished settling in. We can’t wait to see what pictures they hang on the walls of their new home! There are so many enchanting shots to choose from!

The Oahu Venue Wedding

Dreamy, intimate, and elegant are three words we’d use to describe Jonah and Chelsey’s special day. With fairytale-like views and lush greenery — the Kualoa Ranch Secret Island set the perfect stage. As soon as you step foot off the boat, you’ll feel like you’ve entered a romantic paradise!

Did you notice how radiant Chelsey is? You can see how her hair and makeup are both natural but classic. The soft white of her wedding dress looks beautiful with the vibrant rustic Hawaiian bouquet in her hands! Above all, we love how the veil is laying delicately on her head and shoulders! She is such a magical bride!

The first people to arrive were Jonah and their six wedding guests. We love this place because it is spacious and has breathtaking views! A few minutes later was when Chelsey made her grand entrance at the Oahu venue wedding.

Our glowing bride gracefully walked down the shore with her brother by her side! You could see the excitement in the guests’ eyes and the love in our charming couple’s faces. It was such a heartwarming moment to witness! After their flawless ceremony was over, they went to Waikiki for dinner.
