The natural beauty of the Hawaiian mountains in the distance provided the perfect backdrop for Courtney and Jared’s Oahu elopement! We were delighted to see these two love birds tie the knot amidst the dramatic lush scenery that can only be called paradise in our books! It was so hard for Jared not to take a peek at his lovely bride, Courtney, but it was worth the wait! His smile says it all…

Courtney and Jared met six years ago through mutual friends while line dancing! They quickly hit it off and went on a rock-climbing adventure for their first date. From then on, they were inseparable! He proposed hiking in Brown County State Park last fall during peak foliage season. However, their verdant grassy field at Kulaloa Beach Park was another kind of beautiful for their inimate Oahu elopement! The golden sun slowly set behind the mountains as they exchanged their vows…

Their Oahu elopement was a beautiful and intimate celebration for just the two of them. The Jurassic-like mountains and fields created a dramatic and alluring backdrop for their wedding photographs, capturing the essence of their love and happiness in paradise! We love how they both look relaxed but still elegant and classic at the same time…
After the ceremony, they took portraits by the water, which felt just as magical. The picturesque views of the location provided the perfect romantic atmosphere for this happy couple to enjoy their special day!

Your love for each other shines through in every photo, and we wish you all the joy and happiness in the world as you start your new journey together as newlyweds! Congratulations, Courtney and Jared! And keep up the line dancing! 😉

We always get excited for a Kualoa Ranch Secret Island Wedding! This dreamy spot is far away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and feels incredibly serene. Last week, Jason & Jodie had a stunning wedding at this spot, and we loved every moment of it.
Live music, swaying palm trees, emotional vows, and a touch of humor — everything a relaxed beach wedding in Hawaii should be.
Check out some of their Oahu wedding photography below!

Jason & Jodie are a joyful couple, always ready to share a laugh and find adventure. So marrying in Hawaii seemed like a natural choice. So many details needed to come together: song choices, guest lists, vacation plans, color pallet. But first, they needed to find the perfect place.
After some research, they decided a Kualoa Ranch Secret Island would be perfect for them. This scenic spot became a place where all their other wedding dreams could come true. It was a unique experience for their guests, who could enjoy this hidden gem of a wedding venue. It allowed everyone to sit comfortably for the ceremony without worrying about beachgoers and permitting restrictions.
And the natural beauty of this place allowed Jason & Jodie to create a simple yet meaningful plan that was true to who they are as a couple.
We’re so glad we could help them put this all together. This Kualoa Ranch Secret Island wedding was a vision brought to life. Jason & Jodie’s style, Simple Oahu’s expertise, and the special magic you can only find in Hawaii.

We love the private, emotional ceremonies at Secret Island in Oahu. The distraction-free setting allows everyone to be fully present. But after the couple shares their first kiss and jaunts back up the aisle, there is still a lot of fun ahead of us.
That’s because we still get to take wedding portraits! This is the couple’s chance to take in the beauty of this incredible place. A Kualoa Ranch Secret Island wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and portrait time is a chance to slow down and be in the moment.
It’s also a really special time for the couple. This was Jason & Jodie’s first few moments as newlyweds, and their romantic energy was incredible. They’re at ease with each other but also totally infatuated. This means their portraits were breezy yet elegant, stylish yet authentic.
And their Oahu wedding venue had so many stunning backdrops, so we were able to capture both the couple and their wedding location.
Keep scrolling to see more of their wedding photos!

Congratulations, Jason & Jodie! We loved being a part of your Hawaii wedding and wish you a lifetime of happiness!

A sweet, simple, and romantic wedding in Oahu — you really can’t get any better than that! So when it was time for Noel & Marcus to get married, they gathered up a small group of loved ones and hit the beach.
But just because they dreamed of a low-key celebration doesn’t mean they skimped on the details. Instead, they included the elements that were meaningful for them — a walk down the aisle, a ceremonious lei exchange, and portraits that they’ll always enjoy.
Check out some highlights from their wedding below. We’ve also got a fun story of how we ended up becoming their coordinator, plus some tips for anyone wanting their own wedding in Oahu.

Couples travel thousands of miles to have an Oahu Wedding. But Noel & Marcus live right here on the island. So the beach, the memory, and the details were all extra special for them.
But how did they decide that a hometown elopement was right for them? We’re happy to share that we played a hand in that!
See, Noel & Marcus were out enjoying time at the beach when they saw a wedding happening toward shore. It seemed casual yet meaningful, the type of ceremony they’d enjoy. So as the vendors said their goodbyes, they asked how they could have a similar celebration.
And that’s how they got the information for Simple Oahu Wedding, and how we ended up being their coordinator. Lucky us!
Don’t worry, though — this darling duo stayed close to home for their wedding, but they’re off to see the world. Travel is in their future, and we can’t wait to hear about all the places they visit as a husband & wife team!

Whether you are traveling from across oceans or from across town (like Noel & Marcus), a wedding in Oahu can be an absolute dream. It’s naturally scenic here, and you get to enjoy a full getaway as you wed.
And Simple Oahu Wedding wants to help create an event that lives up to the dream — ceremonies that feel relaxed and joyful, yet still stylish and serene. After all, that’s likely why you chose to marry here.
You may not run into us on the beach like Noel and Marcus did, but we hope these images help you better picture your own wedding here. And when you’re ready, we want to hear from you — this is where you can find our packages for Oahu Weddings.

Let’s get back to Noel & Marcus, two smiling sweethearts who seemed so relaxed and giddy at their wedding in Oahu. Though they found us recently during a beach outing, their love story dates back over a decade.
That’s when they were both in grad school, looking forward to careers and life beyond their classrooms. Like most great love stories, they met, became friends, fell in love, found a house together, and got a dog (shout out to Louie!). And in 2020, they got engaged.
These days, they’re still rocking the world of academia — Noel as a Vice Principal and Marcus as a high school teacher. And though they’re always looking forward to what’s next, they’re also focusing on the now, enjoying this incredible season of life as newlyweds!

Congratulations, Noel & Marcus! Thank you so much for allowing us to coordinate your wedding in Oahu! We’ll see you at the beach again soon!

Simple and relaxed would be the perfect words to describe Kathy and Kelsey’s Oahu elopement! Their big day was exactly what they dreamed of! Our lovely couple is originally from the Yukon and wanted to escape and elope in paradise! Let’s see more of their beautiful day…

The simplicity and elegance of Kathy and Kelsey’s Oahu elopement reminded us that their love and commitment to each other is the most important thing! It was a little windy and overcast, but these outdoor adventure lovers didn’t mind! They love snowmobiling, camping, and adventuring in the rugged Canadian wilderness…

With Chinaman’s hat in the distance, these two sealed their vows with a kiss! This beautiful setting is on the east side of Oahu – Kualoa Regional Park Beach. It’s a scenic spot with plenty of palm trees, turquoise waters, and the island in the distance!

Believe it or not, our charming newlyweds met through playing board games with mutual friends! Who knew a board game would spark something? They then got engaged on vacation to Seattle on a nighttime beach walk with mini doughnuts! Very romantic and sweet in more ways than one!

You can see they did have one special guest – our beautiful newlywed’s one-year-old son Wyatt! It was so adorable to see him join his loving parents! As you can imagine, they were pleased he was there and could explore Oahu too!

Kathy looked stunning in her simple yet all-white look; it was pure and fresh! And Kelsey couldn’t stop smiling at his beautiful bride!

Their Oahu elopement will mark the first of many new adventures as husband and wife!

A warm mahalo to Kathy and Kelsey for choosing Simple Oahu Wedding for your elopement! We wish you and your son all the best in the years ahead! Hopefully, we will see you again one day!

With close friends and family, Mariah and Jeff’s Oahu venue wedding was all they could have hoped for! Our beautiful couple wanted an intimate and relaxed celebration in paradise, and we are pleased to say their big day was just that! So, let’s see how their big day unfolded…

Firstly, their tropical ceremony began in the late morning with clear blue skies and plenty of Hawaiian sunshine! The scenic setting for their Oahu venue wedding was held at Paradise Cove, and its beautiful calm waters, palm trees, and rocky reef area make it beautiful for photos!

Our lovely couple was surrounded with love by their friends and family on their big day! However, they had never been to Oahu before, but they were excited to share this experience with their friends and family!

In addition, these two love the outdoors and enjoy nature’s peace, so Oahu felt like a proper fit when planning their wedding! Their photos capture the natural tropical beauty of the island with the palm trees and epic ridge line in the distance!

Our beautiful newlyweds met online! And Jeff proposed on a snowmobiling trip in Idaho on February 17th, 2021! How far away the snow seems from these tropical shores on their Oahu venue wedding! Moreover, we were so happy to celebrate with you here in paradise!

Our charming couple wanted something simple, relaxed, and fun for their Oahu venue wedding. As you can tell in their photos, the day was just as they had hoped! Furthermore, they look so happy together and ready to begin their next chapter!

Mahalo to Mariah and Jeff for choosing us to plan your Oahu wedding! May you have all the love and joy for years to come! We hope to see you in paradise again one day!

We recently captured Ellie and Terry’s stunning Oahu beach wedding, to our delight! Our newlyweds couldn’t contain their excitement about their intimate ceremony. Sometimes the most uncomplicated weddings are the most moving! Please keep reading to see our favorite highlights of their special day….

Our beautiful couple wanted an easy, relaxed affair to celebrate their commitment to each other. We could feel their mixed emotions of happiness, excitement, and a few nerves! During the ceremony, Terry, whose family is of Peruvian and Chinese descent, wanted to extend their thanks to the Earth (Pachamama) for bringing them together and supporting them as they grow as a couple. We were deeply touched by this sentiment, which resonated with our Hawaiian values… They were just moments away from being declared husband and wife!

After their intimate ceremony, our fun-loving and easy-going couple walked side by side for the first time as husband and wife! Then, we walked down the grassy lawn to the sandy shoreline at Waialae Beach Park.
We love this beach park because it has plenty of palm trees and is conveniently located next to the larger resorts in Waikiki. Our happy couple didn’t even notice the onlookers who wished them well because they were so swept up in the moment!

They couldn’t have asked for a better day for their Oahu beach wedding! It was nearly a cloudless sky with a gentle breeze. So we went around the corner to capture a few playful moments of our darling newlyweds…

Finally, as you’ll see in the following photos, Ellie and Terry know how to have fun together! Their wedding portraits were just as silly as they were significant! We laughed right alongside them the entire day…

After the giggles and smiles, our lovely couple sought a secluded beach area for some intimate portraits. As you can see, it wasn’t for long until their playful side came out again! Their easy and relaxed nature made capturing their Oahu beach wedding a joy for us!

Mahalo Ellie and Terry, for choosing Simple Oahu Wedding for your special day! It was our pleasure to capture your Oahu beach wedding! We send you the warmest aloha and wish you all the love, happiness, and fun in your next adventure together!

Shauna and Jack’s Oahu venue wedding was a delightful event! The Royal Hawaiian Golf Club was the location for this sunset affair — this spot created the perfect scene. Then our charming couple had radiant smiles on their faces during their ceremony. Most importantly, you could see Shauna and Jack’s newlywed bliss in every portrait captured by Karma Hill Photography! Keep scrolling to experience this occasion for yourself.

This getaway was Shauna and Jack’s first time in Hawaii! Before their special day, they shared with us how excited they were to experience this destination. Our adventurous pair was looking forward to traveling around and seeing the different parts of the island! In addition, we know their time on Oahu was unforgettable because they got married. If anything, their wedding must’ve been the highlight of their trip!

Shauna and Jack’s original plan was to honeymoon in Hawaii. However, Jack brought up the idea of tying the knot on the island. Our stunning pair talked about it and began researching until they came across the perfect venue; the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club! Then they paired with our team at Simple Oahu Wedding because they wanted an easy and stress-free planning process. Above all, Shauna and Jack’s special day was simple, sweet, and fun — perfect for them! We’re glad we could be part of making their dream wedding a reality.

Our passionate pair’s story began when they met in middle school! Then, during their sophomore year of high school, Shauna and Jack started dating. Our blissful newlyweds have been together for almost a decade; they’re high school sweethearts and best friends! Currently, Shauna and Jack both work in IT. They have the sweetest one-year-old son — who they love spending their days outside with!
