Let’s talk about an Oahu venue wedding that had it all: luminous light, ocean breezes, a dreamy love story eight years strong, and just the right touch of tropical magic. Laura and Dylan’s big day at Paradise Cove Luau wasn’t just picture-perfect; it was personal. The waves sparkled, the sunlight glowed, as if the world had conspired to write this moment just for them. When you get married in such a beautiful place like Oahu, what more decor do you need?
For Laura and Dylan, Oahu isn’t just another island destination, it’s home to their hearts. Dylan grew up in Kapolei, and their love for the island is stitched into their story. So, when it came time to tie the knot, the choice was obvious: they’d get married in the very place they fell even more in love. From Dylan’s heartfelt beachside proposal at sunset to the laughter-filled vacations spent together over the years, Oahu was more than a setting, it was a chapter in their love story waiting to be revisited. And now, the next page was about to be written…

The wedding itself was a gorgeous affair at Paradise Cove Luau, with family and friends gathered to witness something truly special. Laura looked radiant in a lace gown and flowing veil that caught the light like a dream, and Dylan, sharp as ever, beamed with pride and joy. Their day had finally arrived, and it was a surreal dream…

Let’s talk photography. That bright Hawaiian light? Everything was bright, soft, and sun-kissed—exactly the kind of airy magic we love capturing. The ceremony was full of emotion, but it was the newlywed portraits that really sparkled. And that yellow theme? Hello sunshine!

Laura and Dylan slipped away to the beach, just the two of them, and time seemed to slow around them. It was all so beautifully calm. Just two people in love, under the bright Hawaiian sun, in the place that means everything to them.
We always say weddings are about moments, big and small. And Laura and Dylan’s day was full of them. Priceless moments. The kind of moments that make you believe in love a little harder.

Congratulations, Laura and Dylan. Thank you for letting us be part of a day that was equal parts heartfelt, elegant, and sunlit perfection. Oahu may have been your backdrop, but your love? That was the real showstopper! Aloha!

We are excited to share the story of Alexis and Kelvin’s Oahu elopement! There are love stories that unfold in bustling cities, or quiet bookstores, or beneath a starry sky—and then there’s Alexis and Kelvin. Whose story began… at a high school lunch table in Wisconsin. (Because, obviously, all great modern-day romances start with “Can I sit here?”)
They were 15. They started dating before driver’s licenses, before taxes, before the big responsibilities of life came. And over the past decade, through the awkward growing-up years and the “how are we adulting?” milestones, their relationship has only grown stronger.
In May 2022, they took a dreamy dog-filled trip to Colorado, where Kelvin proposed at Rocky Mountain National Park. There were mountains, emotion, and, we assume, at least one excited tail wag. And now their big day has finally arrived…

Alexis, a pet groomer currently studying marketing and social media management, tapped Kelvin on the shoulder for their first look. When he turned around and saw her? Let’s just say the sun wasn’t the only thing glowing.
Kelvin, a software developer, looked completely enchanted. The kind of face that says: “Wow, I’m about to marry the love of my life in paradise, and also, how did I get so lucky?”

So when it came time to plan their Oahu elopement, they knew they wanted something that felt like them: simple, heartfelt, and naturally beautiful. Enter: their ceremony at Kualoa Beach Park. With its dramatic mountains on one side and turquoise ocean on the other, it offered exactly the backdrop they’d dreamed of, lush, beachy, and utterly cinematic.
The ceremony was intimate and filled with laughter. No pomp, no stress, just two people promising forever under the Hawaiian sun, barefoot and beaming. And because this is Alexis and Kelvin we’re talking about, they eventually, at the end, kicked off their shoes and waded into the waves like the beachy romantics they are.

Their Oahu elopement photos? The light was airy and full of joy. The kind of photos that make you want to frame every single one, even if you’re not in them. From the soft kiss in the shallows to the playful splash-and-laugh moments, every frame captured the ease and affection that defines their love.
We’re still not over Alexis’s effortless beauty or how they looked so at home, together on a beach thousands of miles from Wisconsin. Because when a place this magical meets a couple this genuine, well… you get something truly unforgettable.

Congratulations, Alexis and Kelvin! Your Oahu elopement was pure magic, romantic, sunny, and full of the kind of love that’s been growing since algebra class. We’re so honored to have captured this chapter of your story! Mahalo for choosing Simple Oahu Wedding!

Hilary and Taylor’s love story is as charming as a Hallmark movie, complete with a small-town Alabama backdrop, meddling matchmakers, and a whole lot of heart. Some people choose a wedding venue for the view. Some for the convenience. But Brandon and Katie? They chose an Oahu beach wedding on Papa’iloa Beach because it’s stitched into the very fabric of their love story, with a little family legacy, a dash of sentimentality, and one incredibly thoughtful (and kind of genius) 3D-printed Ring Pop.
Let’s rewind. Brandon and Katie first crossed paths in high school thanks to mutual friends. Life took them in different directions, college, careers, the whole “growing up” thing—but fate (and perhaps a very smart algorithm) brought them back together after graduation. Since they officially started dating in 2017, one thing’s been consistent: their yearly trips to Papa’iloa Beach. It’s been their favorite place for ocean breezes, lazy afternoons, and quiet walks, just the two of them.
But this beach wasn’t just a vacation spot. It was home in the emotional sense, especially for Brandon. His great-grandmother grew up on Oahu and raised his grandmother there. Though his family eventually moved to Minnesota, they remained deeply connected to their roots in the islands. Visiting Hawaii has always been meaningful, but when he brought Katie along for the first time, it felt different. Bigger. And, as it turned out, permanent.

In 2021, he proposed on Papailoa Beach with a Ring Pop he designed himself on a 3D printer (yes, really, this programmer knows how to combine heart and high tech). Hidden inside was Katie’s actual engagement ring. Let’s just say she said yes. Obviously.
So, when it came time to plan their wedding, it was never a question where they’d do it. Papa’iloa Beach wasn’t just a backdrop, it was the beating heart of their story.
Their Oahu beach wedding day was nothing short of stunning. Elegant without being stuffy. Intimate, personal, and full of love. The ocean sparkled, the sky showed off with soft pastel light, and the breeze carried just enough warmth to make everything feel like magic. Katie looked radiant, and the way Brandon looked at her, you could feel it. Years of love and laughter packed into one very quiet, very big moment.

Our favorite part? The simplicity. There was no need for extravagant décor when the setting was already so meaningful. Every step they took on that sand had history behind it, memories, promises, and now, vows.
They had the closest friends and family by their side, all anyone could ever wish for!

We’re so honored to have captured their wedding day, filled with joy, gentle waves, and the kind of light you wish you could bottle up and keep forever. Congratulations, Brandon and Katie! Your wedding was everything a love story should be: thoughtful, deeply personal, and impossibly beautiful.

Spoiler alert: If you’ve ever dreamed of running away to a tropical island and getting married barefoot at sunset… Marc and Kaya actually did that. Diego and Hannah’s Oahu venue wedding was the perfect blend of elegance, intention, and light-soaked beauty. Some love stories begin in the most unassuming places, like a restaurant in Baltimore over a round of drinks and a conversation that just kept going. And going. (Hours, actually.) That’s how it started for Diego and Hannah, who now share a life filled with health goals, Disney daydreams, and spontaneous strolls to coffee shops and farmers markets.
So when it came time to plan their wedding, they knew exactly what they wanted: a place that felt like home, but also like magic. A place where their families could soak in the beauty of the moment and the landscape, and they could exhale fully, surrounded by joy and gentle ocean breezes. A place with light.
Enter: the Ko’olina Crystal Chapel…

Nestled on a picturesque property, the Ko’olina Crystal Chapel lives up to its name. It’s luminous. Think: soaring windows, whitewashed walls, and sunlight that pours in like it was specially ordered for the occasion. The light filled the space from floor to ceiling, wrapping Diego and Hannah in a soft glow that made everything feel just a little more sacred. There were no dark corners here, only brightness, warmth, and two people ready to say “I do” in front of the people they love most.
And say “I do” they did, with heartfelt vows and quiet smiles. It was everything they envisioned: relaxed, elegant, modern, and full of feeling. The intimacy of the ceremony made it feel even more special—like they’d pressed pause on the world and stepped into something completely their own.

Afterward, they walked out into the sunlight, hand in hand, ready for the next chapter. But not before we took them down to the beach for their newlywed portraits, and let us tell you, Oahu did not hold back. The sky was clear, the ocean was so blue, and Diego and Hannah looked completely at ease.
Their chemistry is the quiet kind, the kind that’s built on mutual motivation, shared goals, and deep care. They support one another, challenge each other, and remind each other to pause and appreciate the little things.

Diego, a restaurant business owner and lifelong traveler, has a clear passion for nourishing both body and spirit. Hannah, who works in engineering communications, brings creativity, kindness, and a seriously keen eye for capturing beauty (a photography enthusiast through and through). Together, they’re the kind of couple who laugh easily, love deeply, and know how to plan an Oahu venue wedding that feels not just beautiful, but intentional. Don’t they make the most gorgeous pair?

From their Disney proposal in Epcot’s Japan Pavilion (yes, with a ring and family in tow!) to this sunlit ceremony in Hawaii, Diego and Hannah have always infused their story with meaning and joy. And their Oahu wedding? It was the perfect reflection of that.
Congratulations, Diego and Hannah! Your day was luminous, heartfelt, and completely unforgettable, just like the two of you.

You know that moment when the wind is perfect, the sun hits just right, and you’re surrounded by the people you love most in the world? That was Priscilla and Andreas’ Oahu beach wedding in a nutshell.
These two are the kind of couple who make you believe in the slow burn. They met through family and mutual friends (you know, the old-fashioned way), and their relationship grew like one of those sturdy native Hawaiian plants, strong, rooted, and thriving in sunshine. Both work in the construction industry, so naturally, they know how to build things that last.
Andreas proposed the way every sushi lover dreams of being proposed to: over a table full of rolls and a side of sake. It was low-key, heartfelt, and so them. That vibe carried right into their wedding day at the stunning Kualoa Beach Park, where the mountains meet the sea and every breeze feels like it’s giving you a congratulatory high-five…

The ceremony itself was intimate and emotional, surrounded by friends and family who were clearly just as obsessed with these two as we are. Priscilla, radiant and glowing, was the picture of joy. Andreas was relaxed and fully present awaiting his beautiful bride.
The setting couldn’t have been more perfect. Kualoa Beach Park gave us sunshine for days, epic green peaks in the background, and a soft ocean breeze to keep everything just cool enough for barefoot dancing and joyful hugs. It felt like the island itself was throwing confetti in the form of sunlight.

And then—plot twist—he picked up a guitar.
Yes, our groom strummed a little something special right there in the golden afternoon light, with the Koʻolau mountains standing tall behind him and the ocean murmuring just steps away. It was one of those movie moments that somehow manages to feel entirely real. Everyone was smiling. A few were crying. It was truly a special moment!

When a couple like Priscilla and Andreas marries, it feels like so much more than a ceremony. It feels like a celebration of everything: the shared hikes, the laughter-filled kayak trips, the quiet nights with their pup curled up at their feet. Their wedding wasn’t just beautiful, it was personal, meaningful, and absolutely bursting with aloha.

Congrats to the newlyweds! May your love be as solid as the foundations you build and as joyful as a spontaneous guitar serenade under the Hawaiian sun!

Some love stories don’t need a crowd — they just need two people, a perfect stretch of sand, and the ocean as their witness. That was exactly the case for María and Christopher’s breathtaking Oahu elopement at Papailoa Beach.
And let us just say: wow.
Sure, there were no bridesmaids in matching dresses or a hundred guests cheering from folding chairs, but none of that was necessary. In fact, the simplicity of it all made the day feel even more profound. Just María and Christopher, promising forever to each other with the sound of waves rolling in and a sky that looked like it had been painted just for them…

Let’s talk about Christopher for a second. In his uniform, he looked incredibly sharp, the kind of dapper that makes you do a double take and think, “Well, someone’s getting married today!” He stood tall and proud, waiting for María with the kind of quiet joy that just radiates from a person when they know they’re exactly where they’re meant to be.

And María? She was a vision. Beautiful, relaxed, and glowing with that soft, calm kind of happiness that makes every photo feel like a warm breeze. She brought grace and joy to the moment. And it was so easy to see how happy and at ease she felt with the love of her life standing by her side.
Their ceremony took place right on the beach, waves in the background, toes in the sand, and not a single ounce of stress in sight. Even when a few sprinkles of rain started to fall, María and Christopher just smiled. Honestly, it kind of added to the charm. A little rain, a lot of love, and two people who clearly didn’t mind getting a little misted if it meant soaking in the moment.
They laughed. They hugged. And they said “I do” with all the love in their hearts…

Their Oahu elopement felt less like an event and more like an adventure, a quiet celebration of something deep and real. They brought their personalities, their playfulness, and their love into every frame, making this tiny wedding feel like a massive celebration of joy.
The clouds parted just enough to give us a dreamy glow, with soft light reflecting off the waves and casting everything in that magical Hawaiian haze we live for.
María and Christopher, you proved that a wedding doesn’t need to be big to be extraordinary. Your day was intimate, relaxed, and filled with meaning, just like your love story. They couldn’t resist getting into the water either as you’ll see!

Here’s to a lifetime of spontaneous joy, misty skies, and beautiful, quiet moments just like this one.
Congratulations, you two. It was truly a perfect day.

There are weddings that sparkle a little, you know, the kind that leave you smiling for days afterward because everything about them felt just right. And then there’s Anne and Ken’s Oahu beach wedding at Paradise Cove, which didn’t just sparkle, it glowed. Like, “sunset-dipped-in-golden-honey” kind of glowy.
From the very beginning, this day had an aura. A softness. A sense that something sacred and beautiful was unfolding quietly and joyfully, just steps from the ocean. Anne and Ken wanted something intimate, meaningful, and warm. And somehow, they created a wedding day that was all of that and had the entire beach rooting for them.
Anne walked in with the kind of grace that makes time slow down. She radiated pure joy, like her happiness couldn’t be contained in just her smile, so it spilled into the air around her. Her gown flowed effortlessly, and her bouquet of white roses looked like it had been plucked straight out of a fairytale…

And then there was Ken, standing at the shoreline, looking at her like she was the only person on the planet. The way his eyes softened, the way his entire face lit up… let’s just say adoration isn’t a strong enough word. You could tell this was his favorite view in the world.
Their vows were heartfelt and quiet and lovely, and when they finally said “I do,” everything shimmered. The water, the sky, their smiles, every detail was magic. They had a few close loved ones to celebrate and witness this incredible moment…

Afterward, they laughed and hugged and soaked in every golden moment with their closest people by their sides. It wasn’t over-the-top. It wasn’t fussy. And it was real and dreamy and perfectly them. A celebration that was less about perfection and more about presence.
Anne looked amazing (obviously) — glowing with that just-married joy that no amount of makeup can replicate. And Ken? He looked at her like he was still trying to believe this wasn’t a dream.
Their Oahu beach wedding was pure romance and exactly what they envisioned for this next chapter of their life together.

Congratulations, Anne and Ken! May your life together always feel as golden and joyful as your wedding day at Paradise Cove. What a beautiful beginning.

Let’s be honest: twenty years of marriage is no small thing. It’s a big, beautiful, wow kind of milestone. And Greta and Eric? They didn’t just celebrate it. They made it magical. On a sunny day at Paradise Cove Beach, they renewed their vows with the kind of joy and emotion that makes you want to feel all the things. Happiness, joy, family, peace, and love…
This wasn’t just a vow renewal—it was a family celebration. Their daughter was there, making the whole thing even sweeter. And let us tell you, watching this moment was a true family affair. That’s the stuff core memories are made of.
Greta was a vision—her bouquet bursting with the most tropical, vibrant colors, like a little celebration of joy in her hands. She glowed, and not just from the Hawaiian sun. Eric, looking dapper and very clearly in awe of his wife (even after two decades!), beamed from ear to ear. It was a beautiful day as you’ll see below!

They laughed and were fully present in this significant milestone of their Oahu vow renewal. And then they read their vows. It was so deeply meaningful. These weren’t vows filled with fluff—they were words built on twenty years of doing the thing: parenting, loving, growing, showing up. And somehow, between the salt air and the sand between their toes, it all felt brand new again.
Our photographer captured it all—light, candid, and full of life. There are moments of them splashing and playing on the beach, the kind of carefree joy that only comes when you’ve built a life together and still genuinely like each other.
And the light? Soft, golden, and beachy in a way that feels like nature is showing off. It made every photo glow with the exact energy Greta and Eric brought to the day: warm, joyful, and rooted in love.

After the vows were said, they let loose—splashing in the waves and laughing like teenagers on their first date. Their daughter joined in too, turning the whole thing into a water-soaked, joy-filled finale. It was carefree and silly and so them.
It was the kind of ending that doesn’t feel like an ending at all—just a perfect close to a perfect chapter, with the next one already waiting to begin.

To Greta and Eric: congrats on twenty amazing years! Your vow renewal was a perfect reflection of the life you’ve created—full of love, laughter, and the kind of memories that shimmer just like the waves at Paradise Cove. Here’s to the next chapter with your sweet girl!
