Joshua, a dedicated police officer, and Erin, an ED nurse, first crossed paths in a rather unconventional setting—the ER. During one memorable shift, Joshua arrested a suspect and brought him in for evaluation, treating Erin’s entire team to lunch and earning the playful moniker “deputy liar” for his generosity. This charming encounter led to a blossoming romance, culminating in a delightful Disneyland proposal two years later.

Originally, Erin and Joshua planned a grand November wedding. However, when a custody situation endangered their son, they pivoted priorities to family safety. Once resolved, they embraced a spontaneous, intimate wedding plan, choosing Hawaii—a dream destination for their son Cully’s 5th birthday, given his love for ocean life!

Their special day unfolded at Wai’alae Beach Park, where the sun shone brilliantly, framing their vows with nature’s elegance. The couple’s three children, Peyton, Cully, and Nyx, added joy and playfulness to the ceremony, making it a true family affair. We love how they wore matching light green outfits! Together for the past 17 years, Caitlin and Robinson share two sweet girls, ages nine and six. While Robinson works as a digital designer and Caitlin handles medical records from home, they consider themselves homebodies who love spending time together as a family. With two fur babies at home completing their household, they cherish their time at the beach, frequently visiting the Oregon coast during the summer. Family means everything to them!

Their decision to have a small beach wedding in Oahu was a perfect blend of their love for the beach and the desire to create a memorable vacation for their guests. Interestingly, they booked their wedding before getting engaged, wanting to ensure their loved ones had plenty of time to plan and save for the trip. This unconventional yet very considerate approach added a unique charm to their story! And as you’ll see it was a wonderful day!

Can you imagine a love story that starts with a compliment about cheekbones and blossoms into a beautiful family? That’s exactly how Janessa and Reginald’s journey began on New Year’s Eve 2019, and their Oahu venue wedding was the perfect celebration of their love story.

Janessa has always adored visiting Oahu, making it one of her favorite places. Although Reggie had never been, Janessa knew there was no better place to celebrate their wedding than this island paradise. With their closest friends and family in tow, they chose the oceanfront terrace at the Hyatt Regency in Waikiki for their special day.

Their relationship grew strong during the challenging times of Covid, eventually leading them to move in together and adopt their adorable pitbull, Blue. On Christmas Day 2022, Reggie proposed, but wedding plans took a brief pause when they discovered they were expecting a little bundle of joy! Now, with their five-month-old baby girl Evie by their side, they were ready to tie the knot! And we were so delighted to make it finally happen for the beautiful pair!
