Dallas and Erin’s Oahu beach wedding was a day straight out of a love story, one that began way back in middle school. Though they first met as kids, it wasn’t until high school that they reconnected through mutual friends. By senior year, they were inseparable. From studying side by side at the University of Minnesota to adopting two cats and exploring their favorite hiking trails, every step together led them here, to saying I do with the sound of the ocean in the background.

For their first trip to Hawaii, they couldn’t imagine a more meaningful reason to go. They’d always dreamed of visiting the islands. And now, surrounded by their loved ones and the gentle sea breeze, that dream unfolded into something even more magical. The ceremony took place on Kualoa Beach Park where the turquoise water met the dramatic mountains. Erin looked radiant in her flowing gown, her bouquet bursting with tropical blooms. They first connected through a dating app, only to discover later that they already had friends in common. (The universe, it seems, has a flair for timing.) From the very beginning, the idea of marriage was always there, less if, more when.

From the moment Precious walked down the aisle at Lanikuhonua Cultural Institute, escorted with such pride and emotion, the day was threaded with meaning. The floral-lined pathway, the sun glinting through the palms, and the beaming smiles of loved ones watching made every step unforgettable. Tim stood waiting, looking at her with that unmistakable mix of joy and awe that says: this is it, this is forever.

The ceremony itself was tender and intentional. Against the backdrop of the Pacific, they exchanged vows that had been a long time coming. The photos capture it all: their clasped hands, the laughter, the emotion in their eyes. It was everything they dreamed of and more.

Jeffery and Nikisha’s Oahu beach wedding was a beautiful reflection of their journey together — simple, elegant, and filled with deep love. Their story began in 2023, when Nikisha messaged Jeffery first with a casual “hey there,” sparking a conversation that quickly became something extraordinary. Long-distance wasn’t easy, but video calls, virtual date nights, and shared meals kept the connection strong as they eagerly looked forward to meeting in person.

In 2023, Nikisha flew to LA to spend Christmas and New Year’s with Jeffery and his family. In April 2024, it was Jeffery’s turn to fly to New Zealand, where they indulged in good food and spent quality time together. The trip culminated in a quiet evening that would soon become one of the most unforgettable moments of their story.

After a dinner with Nikisha’s best friend, they headed to a beachside spot at Mission Bay for a late-night stroll. In what felt like a perfect, everyday moment, Jeffery began to tell Nikisha how much she meant to him — a conversation they’d had many times before. But this time, there was something more. After a few heartfelt words, Jeffery told her he had a present for her, guiding her to close her eyes. As she did, his voice shifted from beside her to in front, and when she opened her eyes, there he was, down on one knee with a ring box glowing softly in the night! Fast forward to their incredible big day when they both said “I, Do!”

Surrounded by the beauty of Kualoa Beach Park, with the mountains in the distance and a few close friends and family nearby, Jeffery’s proposal was nothing short of magical. Nikisha’s tears and the simple, perfect words — “yes, yes I will marry you” — marked the beginning of their new chapter!

Meet the Reuters – a family filled with love, adventure, and a deep-rooted connection. Allison, a talented photographer and office staff member at a local gymnastics studio, and Blake, a dedicated court deputy, recently celebrated their 10-year anniversary with a joyous Oahu vow renewal ceremony! We are delighted to share the warmth and happiness of their special day as they recommitted their vows surrounded by their three beautiful children.

Allison and Blake’s story began in high school, but it was a serendipitous encounter at a coffee shop in their early twenties that brought them back together. With a leap of faith, Allison asked Blake out, igniting a love that would change their lives forever. Shortly after, they welcomed their oldest daughter into the world and had a small wedding ceremony.
