Their Oahu venue wedding felt like a private, dreamy getaway surrounded by the natural splendor and beauty of the island and their love for one another. Despite being just the two of them, their wedding felt no less special and romantic than a grand affair! Hailing from the UK, this lovely couple couldn’t have been more thrilled to exchange vows in such a stunning tropical destination. Hawaii has a worldwide allure that is just irresistible!
The private venue they chose for their wedding, Kualoa Ranch Secret Island, was nothing short of breathtaking, as you can see! With sweeping views of both the mountains and the ocean, it provided the perfect backdrop for their intimate ceremony.
Their wedding photos capture all the joy and magic of this beautiful day! Every image is filled with love and happiness, from their sweet first kiss as husband and wife to their playful moments on the beach!

Tropical Enchantment
The romance of Lucy and Andrew’s Oahu venue wedding day continued as we captured more photos of the happy newlyweds at the stunning fish pond nearby! The fish pond added a touch of enchantment to their already magical day. Its tranquil waters and lush greenery created a serene atmosphere that perfectly complemented the couple’s love for one another.

Patty and Daniel’s Oahu venue wedding was a beautiful celebration of love with sweet, personal touches. Despite the cloudy sky, everyone was in high spirits as they witnessed this sacred commitment between our happy couple, who had been looking forward to their big day for a long time!
The couple met online two and a half years ago, and their wedding was a true reflection of their personalities – relaxed and simple but with personal touches that made it unique. The serene setting at Kualoa Ranch Secret Island provided privacy and a tropical lush backdrop without the crowds…truly paradise! Keep scrolling to see how their beautiful day turned out!
A Kiss Forever
Their heartfelt ceremony was full of personal touches and sentiments that pulled at the heartstrings, from their words to the thoughtful guest’s favors. It was clear that every detail had been carefully considered to create an intimate experience for their guests. The natural setting was the perfect backdrop for their day, and the joy of friends and family echoed throughout, especially after the kiss!
There were a few sprinkles after the ceremony of their Oahu venue wedding, but sometimes rain can create the most romantic of photos! And our happy newlyweds didn’t mind one bit! Their newlywed portraits turned out absolutely romantic against the island’s lush greenery and calm shoreline. You could feel the love radiating from Patty and Daniel in every shot!
Patty was the picture of bridal elegance in her lace gown and Boho Dream Bouquet! The soft colors pastel colors beautifully complemented the serene, soft atmosphere by the water’s edge. And we love how Daniel added a touch of florals to his sharp tie!
And this mountain view is pure magic, don’t you think? Our newlyweds were so happy and playful as they hopped aboard the waiting catamaran…Daniel clicked his heels in glee! Needless to say, it was a very special experience from their Oahu venue wedding that they will never forget!

A Hawaiian Wedding Dream – Oahu Venue Wedding
For a bit of backstory, our sweet couple lives together in Charleston, South Carolina – where the coast and ocean are a part of their lifestyle. As such, being surrounded by nature has become an integral part of who they are – so it made perfect sense for them to exchange their vows in Hawaii! From soaking up the sunsets to exchanging their vows to the sound of the waves – this is exactly what Gabriel and Christina had always envisioned when thinking about getting married. Kualoa Ranch at Secret Island provided the idyllic and private backdrop our charming pair hoped for…it was simply perfect for a nature-loving couple. And even though it was a relatively quick decision to get married in Hawaii in February, their dreamy celebration will undoubtedly be cherished forever!
Christina looked exquisite in her sleek gown and haku flower crown, while Gabriel was equally handsome in his black tux. Everything felt so serene as we photographed their newlywed portraits right by that calm blue water’s edge. Even though they tied the knot on the beach, they still dressed their very best! After all, it is an extraordinary life milestone! Don’t they make such a beautiful couple?
We love this location for an Oahu venue wedding because of the privacy and the dramatic and cinematic views of the mountains! This lush scenery makes the most jaw-dropping wedding photos… it’s Hawaii at its finest! And better yet, it’s all for our happy newlyweds to savor and enjoy without the crowds!

“David stayed by my side during a hard time in my life; I knew he was the one.” April and David’s Oahu destination wedding culminated with love, family, friends, and fun! It was a beautiful and relaxed affair that reminded us why we love what we do at Simple Oahu Wedding! We are so happy for these two!
For a bit of backstory, our gorgeous couple met online! David was the first one April met that night – fate definitely had a hand in their meeting! They began dating with intention and loved each other’s company! Fast forward years of long-distance dating later, and here they are tying the knot at their Oahu destination wedding!
Their friends and family were so thrilled for them despite the fact they had initially wanted to elope to Oahu! However, many friends and family wanted to travel and be there for their big day, so they chose Secret Island at Kualoa Ranch to host their celebration! And to their surprise and delight, many were more than happy to travel to celebrate with them!
The Aloha Spirit
Our beautiful couple was sent with many kisses and cheers on their way as we captured their first moments as newlyweds! They look so blissfully happy! David loves anything to do with the ocean, and April loves adventuring together, so Oahu was the perfect fit for these two! She looks radiant in her tropical Haku flower crown…that bouquet is the picture of Hawaii’s tropical beauty!
How gorgeous is this backdrop!? It doesn’t get any more authentically Hawaiian with these Jurassic-like cliffs! But we were so happy to see their vision for their Oahu destination wedding come true! And, most importantly, celebrate with their friends and family!

Laura and Tristan wanted to have a destination wedding but didn’t want to deal with the stress of planning it. When they found us, they knew they could count on our team to make their Oahu venue wedding a reality! Most importantly, they can’t imagine a better way to tie the knot. Their special day was peaceful, spiritual, and full of love — perfect for them! Continue scrolling to experience this ceremony for yourself.
Kualoa Secret Island was the location for this event, so everyone had to travel by boat to get to this venue. Tristan and the thirty-two guests were the first to reach this secluded spot. Upon arrival, our groom took his place at the front by the Officiant, Kahu Dennis Chong-Imamura. Not to mention, he looked sharp in his khaki suit and deep green maile lei!
The Memorable Oahu Venue Wedding
Following them were Laura and her sisters on the second boat. Once they arrived, it was time for the ceremony to begin! First, the flowers girls walked down the aisle and covered it with petals. Next, our bride made her grand entrance with her father by her side! Laura is a breathtaking bride — her gown is ethereal and pairs flawlessly with her delicate flower crown and styling by Reveal Hair & Makeup!
Our charming couple exchanged rings on Kualoa Secret Island, and we couldn’t have chosen a better venue! This East Oahu spot created an intimate, romantic, and dreamy ambiance for this afternoon affair. Surrounding the ceremony are a variety of picturesque landscapes! You can see the lofty palm trees, foamy cerulean waves, and dramatic mountains in the distance. Above all, we adore how gorgeous the weather is! Although there is medium cloud coverage, the sun’s rays are peeking through them. You can see how this soft glow gives the sky an enchanting look in every portrait Karma Hill Photography captured!
Our Couple’s Story
Laura and Tristan’s story began when they met one another on Bumble. After dating for over two years, they got engaged while hiking in Utah. Currently, Laura is a nurse practitioner, while Tristan is the director of an art gallery. This adventurous duo loves being outdoors — an Oahu venue wedding at Kualoa Secret Island was perfect for them! In their free time, you can find them biking, boating, or hanging out with their two dogs.

Kualoa Ranch Secret Island Ceremony
Overview:
Secret Island is a remote and completely secluded white sand beach in the private nature reserve of Kualoa Ranch. This Oahu site is protected by prominent valleys and towering mountain peaks and is considered to be one of the most sacred places on the island, harkening back to “Old Hawaiʻi.” Its dense tropical foliage and 800-year-old Moli’i Fishpond is a living relic of the traditional way of life, free from commercial pursuits and modern developments.
History:
Kualoa Ranch was established in 1850 and still serves as a cattle ranch owned by the descendants of Dr. Gerritt P. Judd. The mission of this long-established family is to protect the sacred land of Kualoa and to educate its visitors with the rich history of the reserve and instill a reverence for the environment and Hawaiian culture.
Tours and weddings at this location help the ranch “keep the lands undeveloped so that future generations will be able to enjoy them as well” (Kualoa).
What Makes it Spectacular:
Ceremonies at Secret Island on Kualoa Ranch are the epitome of intimate and exclusive. This venue is so private that wedding parties can only access the shoreline by voyaging on a traditional Hawaiian fishing boat over a 135-acre pond. The wooden pier and the soft rocking of the water make for a once-in-a-lifetime experience for guests and a fairytale wedding for the couple…
Following the boat ride, you’ll be guided through winding trails of native hau trees, leading into a grand reveal of the magnificent Kane’ohe Bay, the islet of Mokoliʻi (Chinaman’s Hat), and the powder-soft sands of Secret Island.
And just like the seascape, the mountainside of Secret Island is uniquely breathtaking. Guarded by Kaʻaʻawa Valley, Kualoa Valley, and Hakipuʻu Valley, one of the hallmarks of this ancient location is its diverse greenery and land structures. This beach locale is populated with wetland birds and features tropical, marshy, and jungle terrain.
Secret Island is the ideal wedding venue for couples who long for privacy, adventure, and a chance to experience “Old Hawaiʻi.”

- Secret Island offers seating for up to 50 guests.
- Ample parking is available.
- Its waterfront location faces north-east, which means comfortable afternoon shade in place of vivid sunsets.
- Because this venue is so secluded, only portable restrooms are accessible on the beach.
- This package is available Mon-Fri for a 4 PM ceremony with an additional charge for Saturday and Sunday weddings.

Paradise Cove Luau
Overview:
Paradise Cove Luau is situated on Oahu’s leeward shore and features spectacular sunset views. This gorgeous venue offers two ceremony location options: a perfectly manicured lawn or a white sand beach, both are embraced by swaying palms and the pristine Hawaiian ocean.
History:
In Hawaiiana, the leeward side of Oahu is considered to be a place for royalty, which makes it a fitting locale for an Oahu venue location that offers traditional Hawaiian entertainment and food. Paradise Cove Luau has serviced guests for more than 20 years and makes it a priority to preserve the culture and history of the island.
What Makes it Spectacular:
Sunsets, ocean, and sandy shores, this venue has all the breathtaking tropical beauty of Oahu! If you’re drawn to the island vibes of a beach wedding, then Paradise Cove Luau is an idyllic locale. It boasts some of the most sweeping and exquisite panoramic views available. And following the ceremony, we’ll stroll down to the shoreline for some stunning portraits on the sand.
Paradise Cove Luau also offers a unique reception option to delight your guests. You can book directly with the venue to reserve a table for the luau, and as you wait for the sun to go down and the fires to alight, you can indulge in an optional cocktail hour with your closest friends and family… or make reservations at one of the nearby renowned restaurants in the Ko‘olina area.
This venue is perfect for the couple who dreams of a Hawaii beach wedding with postcard-worthy flair.
Things to Consider:
- While this venue does have a reception option, there’s no onsite location to get ready in.
- The ceremony is on private property but the beach behind it is open to the public, so it’s not 100% private.
- Only the bride and groom may access the beach for photos after the ceremony. Guests are asked to remain on Luau Grounds.

Royal Hawaiian Golf Club
Overview:
Situated in the endless greenery of Maunawili Valley, the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club is truly one of Hawaii’s hidden gems. Spanning over 1,100 acres of Kailua, this Oahu wedding venue offers one of the most spectacular outdoor ceremony sites. Standing atop the manicured garden lawn, couples say “I do” with the majestic Mount Olomana and Ko’olau Mountain Range towering on the horizon.
History:
The Royal Hawaiian Golf Club was co-designed by the world-famous father-and-son architect team of Peter and Perry Dye. It opened in 1993 and has recently been updated with a fresh blueprint by the renowned golfer Greg Norman.
What Makes it Spectacular:
This venue is all about the scenery. Lush tropical jungles, pristine ponds, and glistening streams are just a few of the natural elements that adorn this elegant yet rustic course.
After the ceremony, you’ll be treated to a cart ride through old Hawaiian trails, whisking you away to each breathtaking locale and making for an unforgettable photo extravaganza! You’ll cross over stone bridges, pose in front of a traditional Hawaiian rock wall, and share your first tender moments as a married couple with sweeping water features in the backdrop.
Not only is the terrace exquisite, but this venue also boasts a stately 45,000 square-foot Clubhouse with a restaurant and full bar onsite. Reception accommodations may be booked directly with the vendor and include rooms for both intimate and lavish parties.
The Royal Hawaiian Golf Club is ideal for a couple who loves the native greenery of Hawaii.

- This venue offers up to 30 chairs for the ceremony.
- Ample and free parking is available.
- Waimanalo beach is 30 minutes away, so with additional photography time, it’s possible to capture vivid oceanfront photos.

With a stunning setting and loved ones surrounding them, Alicia and Jerrol were more than ready to celebrate their love at this Oahu Venue Wedding. Since our groom is from Hawaii, some of their guests were local while the rest came over from the mainland. It’s easy to see that this couple has lots of support!
As our bride stepped off the boat with her father and made her entrance onto this private beach in a gorgeous mermaid gown, the smile on her face said it all. It’s easy to see that this truly was one of the happiest days of her life! Just as it should be and we are so honored we were able to be part of it. It’s a day we will never forget, and we are confident neither will this couple or their wedding guests!
After taking the most beautiful wedding portraits with our sister company, Karma Hill Photography, our newlyweds were ready to celebrate with dinner at Roy’s. Jennifer and Troy had the most magical Oahu Venue Wedding at Kualoa Ranch. What could be more special than an intimate ceremony on a secret island?! We were touched to witness as our bride and groom stood before their loved ones to celebrate their love.
With a stunning flower crown and hair and make-up by the talented team at Reveal, Jennifer was a beautiful beach bride! And it’s obvious Troy agreed, he couldn’t keep his eyes off of her and we don’t blame him! These two looked absolutely incredible together.
