Kerameh & Dan’s Oahu venue wedding at the Secret Island of Kualoa Ranch had all the breezy charm of Hawaii rolled into an intimate and heartfelt ceremony. These two lovebirds got engaged on the Brooklyn Bridge as they watched the Fourth of July festivities. And just as it was on that special day, their Oahu wedding was bursting with fireworks (of the heart)!
It was just our couple and their guests on the exclusive shore of Secret Island. Fittingly named, this Oahu ceremony location is so remote that it can only be accessed by a private Hawaiian fishing boat. With the islet of Mokoliʻi (Chinaman’s Hat) on the horizon and glistening white sand beneath their feet, Kerameh & Dan’s Big Day was a once-in-a-lifetime affair to remember!

Simple, clean, and classic. It was just smiles and Hawaiian-style elegance for these two. We loved how the crisp lines of Kerameh’s bodice paired with the beach-worthy flow of her skirt. And adding a pop of tropical flair, her rustic Hawaiian bouquet and flower crown are lush and wild in all the right ways!

One of the things we love most about Kualoa Ranch Secret Island weddings is the spectacular range of backdrops. From native hau trees to majestic valleys, from white sands to ancient fish ponds, this venue perfectly captures the true beauty of Oahu.
And speaking of true beauty, keep scrolling for all the spectacular shots of our radiant couple!

Mahalo, Kerameh & Dan, for trusting us with your beautiful Oahu venue wedding. We hope to see you again soon, but until then, we wish you a fond Aloha…

It’s a new year at Simple Oahu Wedding, and we thought we’d welcome it in with a fresh look at our stunning Oahu wedding venues–just in time for Valentine’s Day!
If you’re planning an Oahu ceremony and seeking out the perfect locale for your Big Day, one of our top sites is sure to make your wedding dreams come true. Come take a peek at our most popular venues, complete with beautiful photos of real Oahu weddings!

Secret Island is a remote and completely secluded white sand beach in the private nature reserve of Kualoa Ranch. This Oahu site is protected by prominent valleys and towering mountain peaks and is considered to be one of the most sacred places on the island, harkening back to “Old Hawaiʻi.” Its dense tropical foliage and 800-year-old Moli’i Fishpond is a living relic of the traditional way of life, free from commercial pursuits and modern developments.

Kualoa Ranch was established in 1850 and still serves as a cattle ranch owned by the descendants of Dr. Gerritt P. Judd. The mission of this long-established family is to protect the sacred land of Kualoa and to educate its visitors with the rich history of the reserve and instill a reverence for the environment and Hawaiian culture.
Tours and weddings at this location help the ranch “keep the lands undeveloped so that future generations will be able to enjoy them as well” (Kualoa).

Ceremonies at Secret Island on Kualoa Ranch are the epitome of intimate and exclusive. This venue is so private that wedding parties can only access the shoreline by voyaging on a traditional Hawaiian fishing boat over a 135-acre pond. The wooden pier and the soft rocking of the water make for a once-in-a-lifetime experience for guests and a fairytale wedding for the couple…
Following the boat ride, you’ll be guided through winding trails of native hau trees, leading into a grand reveal of the magnificent Kane’ohe Bay, the islet of Mokoliʻi (Chinaman’s Hat), and the powder-soft sands of Secret Island.
And just like the seascape, the mountainside of Secret Island is uniquely breathtaking. Guarded by Kaʻaʻawa Valley, Kualoa Valley, and Hakipuʻu Valley, one of the hallmarks of this ancient location is its diverse greenery and land structures. This beach locale is populated with wetland birds and features tropical, marshy, and jungle terrain.
Secret Island is the ideal wedding venue for couples who long for privacy, adventure, and a chance to experience “Old Hawaiʻi.”

Paradise Cove Luau is situated on Oahu’s leeward shore and features spectacular sunset views. This gorgeous venue offers two ceremony location options: a perfectly manicured lawn or a white sand beach, both are embraced by swaying palms and the pristine Hawaiian ocean.

In Hawaiiana, the leeward side of Oahu is considered to be a place for royalty, which makes it a fitting locale for an Oahu venue location that offers traditional Hawaiian entertainment and food. Paradise Cove Luau has serviced guests for more than 20 years and makes it a priority to preserve the culture and history of the island.

Sunsets, ocean, and sandy shores, this venue has all the breathtaking tropical beauty of Oahu! If you’re drawn to the island vibes of a beach wedding, then Paradise Cove Luau is an idyllic locale. It boasts some of the most sweeping and exquisite panoramic views available. And following the ceremony, we’ll stroll down to the shoreline for some stunning portraits on the sand.
Paradise Cove Luau also offers a unique reception option to delight your guests. You can book directly with the venue to reserve a table for the luau, and as you wait for the sun to go down and the fires to alight, you can indulge in an optional cocktail hour with your closest friends and family… or make reservations at one of the nearby renowned restaurants in the Ko‘olina area.
This venue is perfect for the couple who dreams of a Hawaii beach wedding with postcard-worthy flair.

Situated in the endless greenery of Maunawili Valley, the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club is truly one of Hawaii’s hidden gems. Spanning over 1,100 acres of Kailua, this Oahu wedding venue offers one of the most spectacular outdoor ceremony sites. Standing atop the manicured garden lawn, couples say “I do” with the majestic Mount Olomana and Ko’olau Mountain Range towering on the horizon.

The Royal Hawaiian Golf Club was co-designed by the world-famous father-and-son architect team of Peter and Perry Dye. It opened in 1993 and has recently been updated with a fresh blueprint by the renowned golfer Greg Norman.
This venue is all about the scenery. Lush tropical jungles, pristine ponds, and glistening streams are just a few of the natural elements that adorn this elegant yet rustic course.
After the ceremony, you’ll be treated to a cart ride through old Hawaiian trails, whisking you away to each breathtaking locale and making for an unforgettable photo extravaganza! You’ll cross over stone bridges, pose in front of a traditional Hawaiian rock wall, and share your first tender moments as a married couple with sweeping water features in the backdrop.
Not only is the terrace exquisite, but this venue also boasts a stately 45,000 square-foot Clubhouse with a restaurant and full bar onsite. Reception accommodations may be booked directly with the vendor and include rooms for both intimate and lavish parties.
The Royal Hawaiian Golf Club is ideal for a couple who loves the native greenery of Hawaii.

It was our immense pleasure to help Jenna & Tarek elope in Oahu. This sophisticated couple said “I do” on the white sandy shores of Waimanalo as the gentle morning sun spread across the island.
But it seems as if Fate has paired these two with sandy shores… because it was on a white beach in Mexico when Jenna and Tarek first laid eyes on each other. By sheer chance (and a drop of destiny), they found each other while on vacation… and from their first walk along the beach, they knew it was forever.

And now, on the Hawaiian shoreline and overlooking the oceanfront, Jenna and Tarek’s Oahu beach elopement was bursting with the soft, intimate love of a couple designed to be together.
From their tender expressions to their heartfelt embraces, there was no hiding the sparkling electric current that coursed between these two…

Kahu Kawena Mechler officiated the ceremony with her calm and gracious demeanor. The spirit of her opening chant paired perfectly with the deep, resounding love of our couple.

Donned in a bohemian lace gown, Jenna is the walking embodiment of grace and beauty. Shinning with pride and adoration, her pure joy is luminous and matched only by the soft, sincerity of her devoted groom.

Mahalo nui loa, Jenna & Tarek for trusting Simple Oahu Wedding with your special Hawaii beach elopement. We wish you an abundance of love and plenty of romantic walks in the sand for the years ahead!

The endless views of Paradise Cove Luau set the stage for Elyson & Spencer’s Oahu venue wedding. On the leeward side of Oahu, this spectacular ceremony location melds upscale sophistication with the laid back tropical elements of the island.
This couple’s love story began by accident… or rather, with a very serendipitous automobile accident. Elyson brought her car into Spencer’s repair shop, and soon after, their romance kicked into full-gear.

Together for over 10 years, Spencer felt the time was right to make Elyson his wife. And his tender love for her was apparent from the very first moments of the ceremony.
As this power couple walked down the aisle hand-in-hand, Spencer was exceedingly careful to protect his bride’s sweeping gown. We were beyond touched with the care and compassion this beautiful couple showed for each other…

Their radiant smiles perfectly reflect the beauty of their love… Their happiness is contagious!

Spencer’s gorgeous family flew to the island for his Oahu venue wedding, which just so happened to fall on Super Bowl Sunday. Elyson and her father are such big fans, that occasionally during the photo shoot, she would turn to him and ask, “Who’s winning?”
Of course, the only important answer is: “You, Elyson!” With a love this sincere and beautiful, this bride and groom are #winningatlife!

Traditional and timeless, this bride and groom pull off classic in all the right ways!

Congratulations, Elyson and Spencer! And mahalo nui loa for trusting Simple Oahu Wedding with your special day. We wish you all the happiness in the years to come!

This luminous Oahu destination wedding featured the sweeping views of Papailoa Beach and a couple worth swooning over!
Eleven years ago, Brittany & Timothy crossed paths during Cinco De Mayo–and it was truly a party worth celebrating! The auspicious day not only marked Brittany’s Sweet Sixteen… but it was also the day their love story began…

While the couple originally planned to have an Oahu beach elopement, they were ecstatic when they discovered their closest family would be joining them on the white sand for their Special Day!

Just as Brittany’s 16th birthday was a day to remember, this couple’s Hawaii beach wedding will be forever cherished. Embraced by loved ones and kissed by the Hawaiian sun, Brittany and Timothy shine bright against the glistening sea.

We love how this couple subtly blends traditional styles with a drop of personalized flair. Draped in a pleated skirt and plunging neckline, Brittany elegantly blends demure simplicity with a hint of bodacious spice.
And Timothy’s sporty footwear brings a playful touch to the crisp lines of his classic tux.

And on this very special day, Brittany and Timothy didn’t let 3,898 miles separate them from their fur-baby. Following the suggestion of Brittany’s sister, this couple came up with an ingenious way to include their canine loved one!

We can’t get enough of these spectacular shots! The north-west lighting of Papailoa beach sweeps romantic hues across the backdrop, reminiscent of impressionist masterworks.

It was our pleasure, Brittany & Timothy, to help make your Oahu destination wedding dreams come true. We wish you an abundance of days worth celebrating in the years ahead!

A gentle mist blessed the valley during the spirited Oahu beach wedding of Michelle and Hanna-Klara. We were honored to capture the sweet and endearing love that shines from this beautiful young couple.
With the Secret Island of Kualoa Ranch setting the stage, the ceremony was feminine with a splash of tropical allure and foggy mystery. Endless blooms of coconut palms and local greenery painted the shoreline, while the calm ocean lapped gracefully in the foreground. It all served as the perfect canvas to capture the tender affection that filled this whimsical Oahu wedding.

Before setting sail to Secret Island, the couple shared a few intimate moments on the floating dock, rocking to-and-fro with the pulse of the ocean. Does it get more romantic?

The ceremony was ordained over by the talented Kahu Kawena Mechler. She began the union with a traditional Hawaiian chant, and the guests fell into a silent reverie as they soaked in the melody, the oasis-like venue, and the tranquil love between the brides.

Michelle guided Hanna through the Jewish tradition of glass breaking as her proud father took pictures of the joyous occasion.
We loved the thoughtful touch of the two overlapping rainbows on the silken sack. It was a perfect way to commemorate both family heritage and the LGBTQIA community.

This stunning capture looks as if it was freshly painted. Two lovely women donned in white dresses carrying bouquets and parasols, all set against the aquamarine sea… did we just stumble into a Monet?

As an end to the beautiful day, the couple shared their first dance on the wooden dock, swaying to the music and the rhythm of the ocean.
Thank you for sharing your Special Day with us, Michelle and Hanna… we wish you the fondest aloha in the years to come…

It could not have been a more perfect evening for an Oahu Wedding. Raquel and Alex traveled to Oahu from California for their beach wedding and we are so happy that they got the most amazing weather and beautiful light for photography.

It’s pretty obvious that these two are very loved. They had 21 people travel to be there and witness their wedding ceremony. With good friends standing nearby they said “I do” with the sound of the waves crashing in the background.

After the ceremony, they had so much fun posing with their crew then enjoying the view together as husband and wife. They had plans to head to the Marriott at nearby Ko’olina and keep the celebration going!

Yokohama bay is the most remote Oahu Beach Wedding Location we offer, but we feel like it’s also the most beautiful and dramatic. Its location on the west side of the island means lovely consistent weather and gorgeous sunsets. The fact that it is also surrounded by towering green mountains is just icing on the (wedding) cake!
Many of our couples and their guests choose to stay in the resort area of Ko’olina which is about 15 miles away rather than the much further and more popular resort area of Waikiki. We think this is a smart option, at least for the day of your wedding as traffic can be a challenge to this location and the pace of Ko’olina is much more relaxed and a perfect place to start a romantic honeymoon. Which is exactly what Raquel and Matt planned to do starting the next day!
Thank you, Raquel and Alex, for choosing Simple Oahu Wedding to be a part of your awesome celebration!

Coming from New Mexico, Rebecca and Robert were so excited to get married surrounded by loved ones at their Oahu Destination Wedding! It was especially touching to see our bride’s 14-year-old son and 16-year-old daughter there celebrate with them. Intimate weddings are so sweet to be a part of, and we are so glad we could help plan this couple’s special day!

After the ceremony, it was time to sign the marriage license and make it official! As Rebecca and Robert were sealing the deal, we couldn’t help but smile noticing their guests taking in the beauty of Waimanalo Bay Beach 🙂 . One thing’s for sure, this is a day none of them will forget! We know we sure won’t.

Thank you, Rebecca and Robert, for sharing your love with us! We are honored to have worked with you for your Oahu destination wedding and wish you a lifetime of happiness together. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!
