That’s how it started for Diego and Hannah, who now share a life filled with health goals, Disney daydreams, and spontaneous strolls to coffee shops and farmers markets.

So when it came time to plan their wedding, they knew exactly what they wanted: a place that felt like home, but also like magic. A place where their families could soak in the beauty of the moment and the landscape, and they could exhale fully, surrounded by joy and gentle ocean breezes. A place with light.

Nestled on a picturesque property, the Ko’olina Crystal Chapel lives up to its name. It’s luminous. Think: soaring windows, whitewashed walls, and sunlight that pours in like it was specially ordered for the occasion. The light filled the space from floor to ceiling, wrapping Diego and Hannah in a soft glow that made everything feel just a little more sacred. There were no dark corners here, only brightness, warmth, and two people ready to say “I do” in front of the people they love most.

And say “I do” they did, with heartfelt vows and quiet smiles. It was everything they envisioned: relaxed, elegant, modern, and full of feeling. The intimacy of the ceremony made it feel even more special—like they’d pressed pause on the world and stepped into something completely their own.

Just Us Forever

Afterward, they walked out into the sunlight, hand in hand, ready for the next chapter. But not before we took them down to the beach for their newlywed portraits, and let us tell you, Oahu did not hold back. The sky was clear, the ocean was so blue, and Diego and Hannah looked completely at ease.

Diego, a restaurant business owner and lifelong traveler, has a clear passion for nourishing both body and spirit. Hannah, who works in engineering communications, brings creativity, kindness, and a seriously keen eye for capturing beauty (a photography enthusiast through and through). Jack and Vincent’s Oahu venue wedding was nothing short of a love-filled celebration, bringing together the joy of a decade-long journey! With Vincent as a product manager and Jack as a software engineer, their lives were already beautifully intertwined, especially with their energetic twin boys turning 10.

The decision to wed on Oahu was an easy one for this adventurous couple, who had shared countless memories on the island over the years. Their love story, which began over a decade ago as casual acquaintances, took a romantic turn during a music-filled evening in Mountain View. Fast forward to a year of dating, and Vincent’s unforgettable proposal set the stage for a wedding day that would match the same level of romance.

Choosing the popular Paradise Cove as their wedding venue, the day unfolded with an intimate and family-oriented atmosphere. Moreover, the little sprinkles in the air added an extra touch of magic, making the day feel even more romantic. Dressed in matching outfits adorned with leis, Jack and Vincent looked not just happy but absolutely fabulous!

Surrounded by the love and well-wishes of friends and family, their joyful ceremony was a testament to their enduring bond. The newlyweds radiated happiness, and everyone present was overjoyed for this special couple!

A Blessing From Hawaii

Visiting family stationed in Honolulu, Alyssa and John decided to seize the opportunity and tie the knot in Hawaii. Their extraordinary ceremony took place on the picturesque beach of Paradise Cove. Little did they know that an unexpected guest, a sleeping monk seal, would grace their celebration, bringing blessings from the island itself! It was truly an unforgettable moment!

Under the mesmerizing glow of the setting sun, Alyssa and John looked absolutely stunning. Adorned in a lace princess-like gown, Alyssa radiated beauty and grace while John’s eyes sparkled with love and admiration. The pure emotion on their faces, from tears of joy to contagious laughter, reflected their happiness at that moment.

This Is Our Day

One tradition they passed on was Kate’s gorgeous bridal look! She looked absolutely stunning in her pink and black floral printed dress, a pop of color against the beach’s serene backdrop! The simplicity and elegance of their wedding perfectly showcased their love and commitment to each other.

It was such an honor to capture Kate and Steven’s special day with our Oahu photographer. We could feel the love and chemistry between these two at every moment; it was undeniable! Clare & Christopher’s venue wedding in Oahu was straight out of a fairytale! The exquisite landscapes at Kualoa Secret Island surrounded our delightful duo as they exchanged vows. Then the heavy clouds and soft sunlight created a romantic mood. Most importantly, this ceremony was the definition of intimate! Secret, relaxed, and intimate are a few words our charming couple used to describe their sunset occasion! Kualoa Secret Island was the perfect place for Clare and Christopher’s special day. This private spot has an endless amount of breathtaking views! First, we set up the wedding on the shoreline. The cerulean waves, beige sand, and lofty palm trees were an impeccable background for this tranquil event. After the ceremony, Karma Hill Photography captured flawless portraits of our radiant newlyweds with epic mountains and an ancient fish pond!

Why They Had a Venue Wedding in Oahu

Clare and Christopher wanted to keep their wedding simple and stress-free. They made the right choice by teaming up with us! We covered the basics of planning their day, then ensured their ceremony would look stunning. Above all, we’re glad to hear our passionate pair loves their day! 

This romantic getaway wasn’t our radiant newlyweds’ first time on the island! Thirteen years ago, Clare and Christopher visited Oahu and Lana’i. Since it was one of their most unforgettable holidays — they knew they had to return with their daughters!

Our lovely couple met when they were nineteen years old. Then in 2011, they got engaged in Sardinia, Italy! Christopher is a property developer, while Clare works in Investment Banking. They have two daughters, who are eleven and eight years old. As a family, this bunch loves being active! You can find them hiking, boating, and skiing in their spare time. Lastly, Clare and Christopher have been a couple for twenty years. However, they decided it was time to get married since they were both turning forty. Their Oahu venue wedding was the perfect way to celebrate their strong connection!

Pipi and Jordan were a joy to work with as we planned their Oahu beach wedding! From the beginning, we knew their special day would be an intimate and tranquil event. Papailoa Beach was the location for this ceremony — this spot was serene and stunning. The sun was sitting in its golden hour; its rays effortlessly enhanced the dreamy ambiance. Pipi and Jordan chose the right location to tie the knot. Papailoa Beach created a breathtaking scene for this event! This spot is full of captivating scenery — making it perfect for sunset ceremonies! Surrounding our beautiful couple are dramatic mountains, epic rock formations, and lush greenery. Then the pearl sand and foamy ultramarine waves paired with the warm sunset made the perfect backdrop! Lastly, we love North Shore’s landscapes because you get a little bit of everything. You won’t be able to experience so much of Oahu’s beauty anywhere else on the island!

Why They Had An Oahu Beach Wedding

Jordan is Australian, while Pipi is a New Zealander. However, they both live in Australia! After two years of COVID lockdowns and multiple canceled engagement parties, they realized how challenging it would be to plan a large ceremony. In addition, they’d have to get about 60 people from one country to another and vice versa. Instead, Pipi and Jordan organized a small wedding with their immediate family! Their sunset affair was perfect for them — it was a simple and peaceful event.

Jordan and Pipi’s story began when they met at their job! They’re in the finance industry and have worked for the same company for the past seven years. Currently, they have a pup named Humphrey — he is the apple of their eyes! In Pipi and Jordan’s free time, you can find them running, surfing, or doing yoga!

All it took was one trip to Hawaii for Erin and Erich to know they wanted to have an Oahu vow renewal! Our lovely couple exchanged rings on the shores of Papa’iloa Beach as the sun began to set above them. It was a truly magical ceremony to witness! Erin and Erich wanted their renewal to be simple, personal, and about their beautiful family. Our passionate couple’s ceremony was perfect for them! With only their ten-year-old son in attendance, this event was the definition of intimate! Ellsworth Simeona was the officiant, and he delivered a heartfelt sermon. Then Rodney Bejer played to the mood on his ukulele during the dances. Our gorgeous bride danced with her son first, then her handsome groom second!

The Romantic Oahu Vow Renewal

Papa’iloa Beach created a dreamy scene for this renewal! Ivory sand, striking lava rocks, and foamy sapphire waves decorated the background beautifully. Surrounding this North Shore spot are breathtaking landscapes; the stunning mountains and rich greenery make sensational backdrops! Our charming couple couldn’t have asked for better weather! There was light cloud coverage in the sky, and the sunset was vibrant.

Our Couple’s Story

Erin and Erich first met at work in 2007, but they didn’t instantly hit it off. It wasn’t until a business trip later the same year when they fell for each other. In 2009, they got married for the first time. Currently, Erin and Erich are IT engineers. Our delightful couple is involved in their local fitness industry. They teach different workout classes and plan to open a studio in 2022! Most importantly, they have a ten-year-son who is an absolute riot!

Our elegant couple decided to have an Oahu vow renewal because their wedding was not about them. Although it was a fun night, it was about what everyone else wanted. They wanted to make this sunset event about Erin, Erich, and their sweet boy!
